403  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs: 500 GH on order now! on: July 02, 2013, 02:36:48 AM
It's been well over 30 days and they've shipped just 2 1/2 months of jalapenos and a handful of singles (maybe 2 or 3 weeksminutes worth?). They have a LONG way to go.

FTFY

Many Single orders placed in the first hour of opening a year ago, haven't shipped yet.

What was your order number, and what day did you pay for it?
405  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Single SC Power Brick on: June 22, 2013, 02:24:20 AM
I have been reading on this forum and BFL's forum and there doesn't really seem to be a definitive answer on whether the singles will come with a brick or require a power supply. Anyone have any actual information on this?

Thanks!

BFL don't have any power bricks in stock, the are waiting on them to arrive. Some people are happy to take the Single without the brick and use their own PSU just so they can start mining. Most people are waiting for the bricks to arrive. BFL are not giving a discount if you want the Single without the brick. I think they should, but it's probably too messy for them at this point.

Most are waiting? Uh no, most can do the math. Jody said everyone (except maybe one) is choosing to get their unit sooner without brick.

Put me down for 32 chips.
407  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [WTB] Avalon chips in-hand (Any available?) on: June 02, 2013, 02:55:30 AM
Would you be interested in 10-chip sub-modules from an Avalon rig at 14 BTC each (1.4 BTC per chip)?
408  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bASIC BTC refunds list - v2.0 on: March 30, 2013, 03:08:04 AM
I just received a refund for the rest of my orders, so all is settled between Tom and I now.

To anyone still waiting for a refund, I recommend emailing a polite reminder to Tom at btcfpga@gmail.com.
409  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bASIC BTC refunds list - v2.0 on: March 29, 2013, 11:50:34 AM
He has been responding to my emails to btcfpga@gmail.com. I expect my remaining refunds today.
410  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: I am planning to buy Avalon batch 3..is batch 3 invitations only? on: March 20, 2013, 11:03:32 AM
I'd buy one for $5k but only if I knew I'd receive it within a few days and they wouldn't ship more than a few hundred. But if it's going to take another month to ship batch 3, forget it, at that price.
411  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch3 + bitpay question on: March 19, 2013, 08:27:53 AM
You don't use a bitpay account to pay a merchant.
412  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Got offered an Avalon, how much to pay? on: March 19, 2013, 08:23:24 AM
If I were local to him, I'd offer 50 BTC each.

Is this sarcasm? Because I am local to you (Los Angeles), and I would gladly come pick up your Avalon for 50 BTC Smiley

I didn't say that's my best offer. Tongue  But if he doesn't like the unit, I'd take it off his hands for 50.

I wouldn't sell mine at the moment for even 100 BTC.
413  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 16 Avalon photos on: March 17, 2013, 03:27:42 AM
It will run the fans faster when the ambient temp is higher. I've not seen temp3 (exhaust?) over 50C even when temp1 (intake) was over 40C, but the fans run much faster to reduce the difference between the two.
414  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Got offered an Avalon, how much to pay? on: March 17, 2013, 12:17:29 AM
If I were local to him, I'd offer 50 BTC each.

Hi

I made a mistake on that pools. already fixed in trunk. but don't have time release the image yet. you can fix that by yourself:(replease User=(%d+) with User=(.*) ), telnet or ssh to YOUR_AVALON_IPADDRESS. run this command:
  sed -i 's/User=(%d+)/User=(.*)/'  /usr/lib/lua/luci/controller/cgminer.lua  && rm -rf /tmp/luci-*

Xiangfu

Cgminer Status > Pools, is empty.
so you got yours  Cheesy
Yep  Grin

Have u something in Pools Status?

Thanks! Now I can see eligius in my pools list, in addition to ozcoin.
416  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bASIC BTC refunds list - v2.0 on: March 15, 2013, 01:59:54 AM
It's not being done alphabetically. I know the addresses of at least 22 refunds, and they start as follows:
12
13
15
16
16
16
18
18
19
1C
1D
1E
1F
1H
1H
1H
1H
1j
1J
1J
1L
1m

I sorted the list alphabetically because I didn't note the timestamps when I made the list. But it shows that refunds are being sent to addresses all across the range.
417  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: March 14, 2013, 04:45:26 AM
I just got this: d7afab0b378427f822cf407d2f77156f71df8ecdb5dd17e31a9da2442f113a2c

That is my $4,309.96 refund at an exchange rate of $47.8884 $/BTC.

My order ID was: 794

Thank you Tom.  This shows that you were an honest businessman all along.   The crazy man act had me fooled.
WOW, no fuckin way! .. pretty cool =) waiting on my measly order psh...only 630$ or so..

email me your order # and address to make sure your on my list

Tom, are you replying to such emails, or just silently checking your list? I emailed yesterday and today with my order numbers and bitcoin address, and would like confirmation. I did receive a refund a few weeks ago for one unit, but don't know which order it was for. I've been assuming it was for my earliest order (not listed in my emails), but I could be wrong.
418  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: March 11, 2013, 11:06:16 AM
Received 10.6 BTC by 2013-02-11, maybe come from bASIC. Didn't got any info email.

Did you order a 27 GH unit? What was the USD price of those?
419  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Avalon ASIC Batch #1 Ships on: March 11, 2013, 09:02:25 AM
I'm in Europe, called DHL, they had nothing for me.. since 6th of March no packages addressed to me.
Don't forget to tell them the origin of the package is Hong Kong, not China

I told them Hong Kong.. Didn't even mention China at all.
Guy's
Those of you who got the avalons - EU, US, HK - Please share sender details of your shipment (invoice). Basically if something is wrong with receiver (our) details, the other way around is to look for our toys using HK as origin and sender details. I have checked with DHL a couple of times and still nothing. I would very much like to be able to make another try and look for it telling the DHL the sender details.
Thank you very much in advance

I'm in the US. The sender address on the waybill is:
MR LIJIAO
BEIJING FEIXIANG CO LTD
C/O YFHEX
2RD INDUSTRIAL DISTRIC HOU RUI VILL
XIXIANG TOWN BAOAN DISTRI SHENZHEN
HONG KONG

Hey guys, just got a batch of tracking numbers, going to send out emails through out the day today.

Which orders have been shipped? Does anyone have tracking numbers?

I don't think they're providing tracking numbers. But at least a few people in the US have received units, which is even better than tracking numbers. Smiley
