Although this item is widely described as a vaporizer caution must be taken to ensure that herbs do not combust. The herbs sit directly in contact with the heating plate therefore the unit can produce smoke. Please be advised of this before purchase
Are there actually any pen vapes that do what they're supposed to? Seems most of them apparently suffer from this and it kinda defeats the purpose of a vape when this happens.
What portable one would you recommend for around $150?
Hi
The only pens I am aware of that can be classed as 'true' vaporizers are the more advanced ones with ceramic heating chambers protecting herbs from the heating element and have high quality and accurate temperature controls. The only ones I stock are slightly larger than a stick pen style vaporizer but are of a much better quality and won't burn herbs. The thin pen style ones just don't cut it still which is reflected in their much cheaper price.
I have the Vapium in stock @ £99.95 / $155 - http://www.vapium.com/
Inhalator also receives good reviews @ £185 / $290 - http://inhalater.com/
In a couple of weeks I will also have the latest Pax model 2.0 from the first batch into Europe. They should retail around £175 / $280
Let me know if you need anything and I'll do you a nice deal.
