Scammers: Copy and pasters, plagiarism, dummy accounts, multiple accounts...you name it, bounty hunters do it.

Hurting the project: This is by far the worst. Bounty hunters are the first to cry SCAM! and spread fud on the very project they had invested time in. Once they get paid, they are gone with no continued support of the project. Worse yet, they dump their coins and devalue the project.

Of course, not everyone is like this, but there are enough that a lot of us say, "ugh...bounty hunters *rolls eyes*"

Funny that your one of the people you hated.
The is this acts are allowed not because of the majority of the hunters but with the rules they follow.
None of the rules on the bounties prohibits the acts you hated so much.
However like yourself, not all the hunters are spammers and not all of them should be hated.
Hunters are the foundations of the projects. Why? Well some of the investors that participate on projects are actually hunters.
And projects relay on hunters for publicity and possible participation and investment.

Well its like looking for a needle in a haystack situation.
But if the referral base airdrops, could make your time worth.
however with a lot of airdrops around, you could find some worthy and most of it useless.
and not to mention some airdrops that meant to scam or phished people. so be careful.

so its better to check it out for malware or any spying programs.
Or its better if you reformat it all. make it safer first before doing something.
And try to think any possibilities how your wallet have been compromised
and eliminate this threats

It is possible that the hype comes back.
but with the market are down, buying at ICO isnt that wise.
With the value of BTC and ETH on USD basis. right? equals to the ICO Price.

The problem now, is the KYC. For me one of the major aspects of crypto is anonymousity and with KYC.
KYC and being anonymous just dont fit in.
And i have seen, i was a victim also. I joined a bounty campaign and in the end the manager announces a KYC process.
At this point i wasnt able to provide substantial documents for my KYC and when i check the spreadsheet someone has already claimed my bounty.
and they actually pass the KYC process.
and of course some stakes wasnt able to claim cause of simple rules that wasnt able to meet. such as simple as joining the telegram chat
