Hi guys,

Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me Undecided

I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc???

Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins.

First you need to learn everything that possible.
The thing with newbie, is curiosity which is very harmful.
specially if someone is eager to earn so much. beside the fact that you lack of knowledge.
so its better, to start learning in here.
at this forum there is much to learn. start with bitcoin threads and a lot of crypto discussions

For me, no one could replace bitcoin.
Its the first of crypto. and the foundation of the community and the word cryptocurrency.
with bitcoin. everything will fall.
i guess bitcoin could be consider as our currency.

Now, a lot of these startups are underfunded and could only list in low volume exchanges and seeing their prices crash to ridiculously low prices.
And everyone is crying on their Telegram.

Listen very closely yo: The price will never rise if everyone HODls!

Prices are boosted through supply and demand and if a vast majority of people who own the coin are not trading it, than you are severely cutting in to that chain.

Instead of Hodling, you should be buying and making strategic trade choices.

Hodling for a year or two. would be a good choice, but not as sure as any choices you would do.
some crypto fall after months or year. depends on the factors you need to consider.
and before anything and engaging on trading we need to ofcourse learn.
with crypto, knowledge is power.

For me.
First Learn, learn everything that is possible at this forum.
Secondly, Build up social Media followers or friends
third be careful and vigilant. Look and learn for yourself how will you recognize a scam project.
and fourth. luck and knowledge is much required.

Well Airdrops are really meant for free.
but its quite small compared to actually buying the token or on bounty programs.
and yes, the fact that some airdrops are meant for scamming or phishing.
free airdrops still are free, and the actual airdrop.
just be careful and be vigilant

well i got to say, your not the only one.
ICO sometimes end up not reaching its caps, and some being a scam.
the thing is, even bounty managers couldnt be blame to such events.
and sometimes a good bounty really ended up being a bad one.
even you research it up, and it did not reach its cap right?
but i guess its better, if you check its ratings.
and a lot of luck to you my friend.
and realized that not all bounties could end up successful

and see for yourself on ways how to earn bitcoin that suits you.
then i would suggest you to join some airdrops or bounty.
you could check them out at the bounty section

With a lot of experience on Scam projects. Even A Scam exchange, where i use to trade.
I feel very down, and wanted to quit.
but i still wish this SCAMS stops. for the benefit of the community and the people.

I guess with many scam ICO.
We Couldnt know for sure. who are legitimate and who are really going to be a scam.
following some bounty manager could lessen the fact of being scammed.
but sometimes even them couldnt escape the scammers wrath.
but it is better if you do a research on the project your going to join.
and you might be able to see some flaws and identify the project as a scam.
and a lot of luck.
And Yeah! Go! Go! Keep it up, the positive attitude though.
