I'm not much of a money expert, but this guy seems like he has no idea what he's talking about. We talked alot about hoarding and why it isn't that bad for our bitcoin economy, as long as businesses see bitcoin as a (widely accepted) currency and not as a commodity. |

Saddam Hussein wanting to sell oil for EURO instead of dollar is probably the sole reason for Iraq war. Now guess what: Iran wants to sell oil for euro. USA starts talking about war....
That sounds very interesting. Any internet sources for that (Hussein and Ahmadinedschad) ? EDIT: forget that, google is my friend  |

I wanted to buy some from Mt. Gox, so I signed up there, and then I have to sign up for Liberty Reserve to fund it. Then it turns out the only way I can do that is through ANOTHER third party, who only wants to accept money from other "internet currencies" which are only available from internet currency exchangers. In other words, if I want to pay in USD, there seems to be absolutely no starting point to get it into the system. Just use https://bitcoinmarket.com instead. You can pay via PayPal, Moneybookers, Liberty Reserve and Pecunix. |

Sorry, I only have 305 in my PP account. But anyway, I feel that MtGox dollars aren't one-to-one equivalent to PP dollars. They surely aren't 1-to-1. The most they could be worth is 2% less than LR. Discount from that for the unknown wait. Well ~345 USD to 330 USD is 4.35% loss for me. This should be a fair deal. OK, lets say 6% loss for me. 344,72 - 6% = 324,0368 Somebody interested in buying 344,72 gox$ for 324,03 PayPalUSD (or the equivalent in PayPalEUR) ? |
