1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex got hacked!? on: June 20, 2016, 09:25:47 AM
Poloniex is exchanging ETH. Anyway, they are fucked now. They own like 10% from ETH.  LOL

If ETH goes down, Poloniex is going after them too;  so, be careful where you keep your funds Grin

it seams Kraken is fucked too. they have "millions" worth of ETH
Always assume that everyone and everybody is trying to scam you, that way you will be lessen the risk of being scammed. Therefore be careful always. It is not shocking that Poloniex got hacked anything in our modern time is vulnerable to hacking.
yes, hacking will happen from time to time, such as the recent DAO attack, which can happen anywhere. So the best way to secure the money is to put theme under your control, not to put money in exchanges or any other third parties.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Memory is cheap - on: May 10, 2016, 06:20:29 AM
I think the larger problem is network bandwidth rather than hard device capacity. Even with high speed Internet connection (> 20 Mbit/sec) it can take a couple of days to download the block chain from scratch.
Yes, that is exactly what Chines miners are worring about. The increasing block size may impact their mining facility and the rate of mining reward.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 85% Profit - how ? on: April 23, 2016, 03:27:26 AM

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All crypto with an IPO/ICO is trash - no exceptions. Just launch fairly. on: March 15, 2016, 01:37:28 AM
Stripped..
I think it is a free speech forum and I just expressed my ideas, not attacking anyone! You have a strong unreasonable bias! I don't need to provide any evidence to argue with you, which is wasting my time! Please stop shouting and act as normal human being! Just check you trust! You deserve it!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All crypto with an IPO/ICO is trash - no exceptions. Just launch fairly. on: March 15, 2016, 01:04:48 AM
There are some IPO/ICO scam coins. Some ppl may be scared of it. But why should we be against it as long as the project is promising and run by legit ppl. Many talent developers just lacks of fund to start it. We could fund their projects and get some return. What is the problem with it?
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: March 01, 2016, 06:45:48 AM
Coz ppl are keen to earn money. No matter loss or win, they want to win more or recover the loss. So they get addicted.
7  Economy / Services / Re: Willing To Be a PayPal to BTC converter on: February 05, 2016, 02:55:51 PM
As far as PayPal is concerned, trading in bitcoins is not allowed. My account was freezes just because I bought bitcoins worth 400 USD using PayPal
Just curious to know how you expose your PayPal email to the public! I noticed the PayPal traders in currency exchange section are alway negotiating the deals through PM. Still many ppl are doing it.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Currently staking? on: February 02, 2016, 01:05:37 AM

9  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [EDU] How to spot a PONZI on: January 19, 2016, 01:58:06 AM
Well it's pretty much obvious that every single investments out here that promises big returns in such a very short period of time is a ponzi. Anyway thanks for creating this thread. This can be handy for those of some looking for a review from a higher rank here rather than those you can see in their thread, a bunch of newbies vouching that they actually pay. LOL.  Cheesy
Great. It can educate the newbie and get them away from this kind of ponzi. Then the site has no room to live.
10  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 47$ Loan on: January 05, 2016, 02:47:34 AM

11  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: December 04, 2015, 10:10:23 AM
I would suggest you to buy something like 5 bitcoins when the Bitcoin price is 280 USD, and sell 4 of the coins when the price is around 350 USD,
5 X 280 = 1400
4 X 350 = 1400
so you will get 1 btc free of cost.
the big question now is when will the price of bitcoin go down to 280? you can't just say things that unlikely to happen right now
Yeah going down to 280 dollars again is if you are lucky to buy bitcoin with that amount that it goes low.

Me personaly I think that bitcoin will just be around 300 dollars.

So better buy now some bitcoins. Just little amounts that you will make later 1 bitcoin and who know maybe 1 BTC will be around 650 dollars.
IMO $300 is the bottom level. When it approaches that level again, then you could buy 1 BTC or 2 BTC based on how much you can afford to lose, although it have a lot of potential we believe it deeply.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese communist officials allegedly paying bribes in Bitcoin on: November 21, 2015, 07:21:09 AM
ive noticed alot of dodgy overseas contracts emerging with links to the Chinese communist party, is it possible that bribes are being made in Crypto which is

enabling the scrutiny of the deals to be overlooked, where bribes made in cash or via bank transfer would otherwise blow the deal wide open!
Why not provide any proof to validate your accusation? Don't just sit there and make random comments without taking a moment to think!

I wouldn't preorder. I will wait and see what exactly the product is.

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do my bitcoins and my wallet work together? on: August 13, 2015, 12:48:15 PM
I suggest you learn some knowledge about Bitcoin before you deal with the real Bitcoin! Coz Bitcoin is not perfect yet and the security and utility are not that good enough to protect its holders as the fiat money system! Once you made a small mistake, you will forever lose them! Just google it , you can get a lot of information! You can read Bitcoin.org to get the rough idea about it!
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've been scammed 5.5BTC. What will you do when your Bitcoin get scammed? on: August 04, 2015, 06:31:36 AM
Like OP mentioned, ppl tends to get scammed! Me too! But the most important thing is that we can learn from the lesson and don't be scammed again by the same tactics. All of the ponzis or scams are sharing the same charactors. If we cannot learn from our mistakes, we will be poor forever!
