521  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks offering only 1.3% interest rates for Savings Account on: March 17, 2018, 03:51:26 PM
I went to my bank today to change money to foreign currency because I will be traveling abroad soon. I asked the lady what are the current annual interest rates if you decide to give your money to bank for certain period of time without being able to withdraw that money (Savings Account).
She said proudly that zhe interest rate is 1.3% which is the highest in the country. I was holding my laugh and smiled kindly to her and I said that even 1.3% is not enough for me.
What do you guys think? I think 1.3% per year is a joke. Money can lose that much value in one year so you didn't actually profit at all. What kind of interets rates do you get at your banks?
That is the reason why most of the banks had much revenue as they only give smaller interest rate at 1.3% to the depositors. Yeah it's a joke which is far from investing at cryptocurrency. Since the popularity of crypto had become bigger this will be a threat to the banks as time goes by, no one will ever deposit to them as people will prefer to invest in crypto currency.
522  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people in the world know about bitcoin? on: March 17, 2018, 09:24:50 AM
i'm just curious if how many percentage of all the people on earth know about Bitcoin. in my country i think only 10% knows about it. post your opinion guys.
I don't have the percentage but I think many people knows about bitcoin as this has been the phenomenal technology that been created. The news has been circulated around the social media and also in local TV channel. Although not all people will bite this as they have fear of losing their money if they will invest in bitcoin.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I BUY GOLD OR BITCOIN? on: March 17, 2018, 08:04:33 AM
It's up to you, but if you choose to buy gold.. you might end up selling it again or find yourself at the nearest pawnshop, or if you love collecting gold then it can juts put it in a much secure area of your house. ahaha
But when you choose bitcoin, then... there is a great possibility that you'll get much more than you have invested. It's just a matter of patient, hard-wok, and strategies.
They are both good investments. Gold will not depreciate it's value as the price will continues to grow in a little percent. You need to secure this assets in a safe place that will add the risk if someone knows that you had plenty of this Gold. Unlike in Bitcoin the price is volatile in nature. The opportunities are wide as you can diversify your assets to grow more. It has no physical properties but people are buying on it in hopes that the price will grow more as time goes. Investing in bitcoin is risk but the return of profits is exponential as it will goes 2x or more.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin seems to be bouncing back up on: March 16, 2018, 03:35:51 PM
Yeah, I admire you for being optimistic in this situation as the price has been tortured with the bad news around the crypto world as reasons that the price has been goes down. I'm also hoping for better price which had happened last year which  I expect that this will bounce back soon.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: March 16, 2018, 10:21:13 AM
Does Bitcoin Need The Social Media's Help To Promote Itself?

Well, Bitcoin needs all the help that we can get. With its current situation, Bitcoin Foundation is just thinking out of the box to help Bitcoin recover and might even succeed.

With the help of Social Media, bitcoin can attract new and young users. Learn about bitcoin and eventually adopt it.

Maybe this is the first step of mass adoption.

What do you think?
I agree on you, cryptocurrency needs the support of social media to boost the popularity around the world in which social media has the capability to spread the good news of bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a whole in just few seconds. With the current number to users in facebook, twitter and instagram this is a great help to a mass adoption which crypto needs it to survive.

I received 800 nCash, so I'm assuming it was the airdrop. I'm still trying to figure out if my KYC was verified and when they will communicate with us about it.

Waiting for some updates about this one too!!!
It is a NUCLEUS.VISION airdrop. Just 19 dollars or 800 NUCLEUS.VISION tokens for everyone was sent. More here: https://etherscan.io/address/0x809826cceab68c387726af962713b64cb5cb3cca

800 NCASH for those who are white-listed. Maybe lower than that for those who are telegram and reddit followers.

Hello Dev.,

Just a clarification as the tally of points in every week is not equal to the total points earn. Could you explain how it goes?
Week 8:     5 points
Week 9:     5 points
Week 13: 15 points
My total should be = 25 points

please update my stakes.

528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Real reason of falling down market. on: March 03, 2018, 11:18:05 AM
Is there any reason why there is such a situation in the merket? That's the worst scenario i've ever seen.
This is a normal scenario of cryptomarket as their is always time for corrections. Sadly, those new investors will get panic in a bearish run and they will sell their coins due to FUD. As you go along on this cryptocurrency you will find the volatility of price, you need to relax and patient to wait those bullish run as may take time to make it happens.

This bounty is so disorganized... no end date - it was running indefinitely, which is making stakes worthless, no respect for the community, there was supposed to be a crowdsale but now there wasn't, no date announced for token payments and it's been more than a month since it finished...

Every time someone asks when will the tokens be paid they say "soon"... How soon is soon?

It's like Nucleus Vision has totally turned their back on their community.  Huh Roll Eyes Undecided Angry
I think you must read first some post on this thread before reacting. Please read below post from the dev.

532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever borrowed fiat to get btc? on: February 23, 2018, 03:03:27 PM
Whether it be buying btc or buying equipment to mine btc. Did you ever borrow fiat to make your purchase? I have not. Just curious if anyone ever has.
Due to volatility of this crytomarket It will be good choice not to borrow fiat money for investing in bitcoin. I follow the hard way in getting my bitcoin by joining some signature campaign and airdrops that will be a good way for me to learn the cryptoworld.
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: My Piece of Advice to Bounty and Airdrops Participants on: February 23, 2018, 01:16:53 PM
I gotta agree with you on this one. A lot of the airdrops that gets shared are obvious scams. I run a Airdrop Twitter Channel
myself, but before i share any airdrop i do comprehensive research to make sure the tokens is actually worth the time to complete it.

Airdrops is a free token and all you did was to fill up there form with your ERC20 wallet address. It's not a big deal with that as long you did not include your personal information and not sending donation to them. If you did not receive token from that airdrops, just move on since not all participants will receive those reward.
534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you buying bitcoin now? on: February 22, 2018, 11:52:48 AM
The market has always fallen from time to time and will fall. This is natural and it allows the price to rise. I use this drawdown and buy another cryptocurrency. And continue to keep money in the wallet while the price will not increase.
Yeah it's a normal to a decentralize currency to be volatile in the market as this depend on supply and demand performance. If you want to buy, you should wait when the price is downfall as the price is cheaper and you can be profitable once it bounce back to higher price. Just hold until your get a profit.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success? on: February 22, 2018, 10:23:24 AM
Telegram is a group of people that participating in one campaign. The participants are from another continent in the world. Less members seems doubtful, more members seems truthful. This may the New measurement of legit project.
Telegram is a messaging apps use mostly in ICO. It's a good way of communication between the investors and the developer for any updates or questions regarding the project. I consider telegram as my basis in choosing a good ICO but not necessarily a measure of success because some members in the telegram channel are a bounty participants. Indeed, a lively telegram channel can attract more investors.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token price fall after ICO on: February 21, 2018, 12:51:47 PM
Have there been any tokens where the trading price on exchanges at the very start fell considerably below the ICO price and has not recovered?
Yes, I seen many ICO's where introductory price at exchange has almost 50% lower from the ICO price. This is also the reason to consider to those investors who want to join a certain ICO's. It should be a good and promising projects to make a good profits once it hits the exchanges.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you watch the price of your altcoin everyday? on: February 20, 2018, 02:10:48 PM
Everyday, I watch the price of the coin that I have bought. But sometimes this could cause FUD or FOMO if the coin pump or dump tremendously. I sold my coins when I saw the price go up, but missed out the huger profit.
I think if you watch the price of your coin everyday, it will put pressure on your emotion.
Some people just buy it and don't think about it, which could be good or bad.
What do you think? Do you watch the price everyday? If not, how often do you watch it?
How do you feel before you watch it?
I monitor the price mostly everyday in the blockfolio apps. Being a cryto lovers, it's a best way to know what's the latest updates and the news around the cryptocurrency. Also, to make a decisions once I see a pumps and dumps trending. It mixed emotions but it's part of the game. You need to control your emotions not to overflow with your mind to have a best decisions.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: February 20, 2018, 09:29:17 AM
People will gamble just to gain more profits and aiming to win the best reward. Some people will do gambling just to make use of there extra time and ease there boredom and also to entertain themselves. If you will gamble everyday, then this is a form of addiction which is not good. You should discipline yourself to avoid addiction.
539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers?????? on: February 19, 2018, 02:35:47 PM
Since you guys started trading in the crypto Market, how many scammers have approached you through social media sites? I joined a few groups on Instagram and Facebook for the common reason of finding out information and talking to fellow Traders. Many scammers have messaged me on Facebook with fake profiles, horrible English, usually offering some type of binary option deal. Just curious to see how many confidence tricksters are out there and how they do it? Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh
Scam is a profession for those people who will take advantage to those novice in this cryptocurrencies. Even in ICO's they can create websites as same as the legit designs. So, if you don't want to be a victim of those scammers don't talk and don't reply on those messages from unknown person. Check always the correct website and investigate or research first before you decide to invest.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: please help me seriously to leave gambling ???? on: February 19, 2018, 01:34:51 PM
Today i realised i am in huge huge trouble due to gambling...i just kept loosing amount in gambling quickly...decided many times to leave gambling but never happened....today i counted that i have lost almost 10 bitcoins in gambling in last 1-2 years and the amount i loose is going to keep on increasing...
i just tried to do every thing but nothing is quiet working...what ever i earn i dont know what to do with them and in some time i loose them again...
i am realising i am in big trouble, already in huge loss what to do... Embarrassed

If you really did everything but no avail...I think you must need a ultimatum solution and quit this cryptocurrency and focus your time to your family or establish a new business that needs much of your time. I think that's the only way you must do if you want to quit gambling.
