We're stuck between Rule of Thirds. (633+666)/2=649.5 Greed will pump it out. There will be a breakout to 700 soon. Barring fud or a huge dump, we should climb to 733 then magic 777.

Rule of Thirds in play with price bouncing wildly between 633 and 666. It looks like a whale mating ritual, not normal price discovery. Greed will win and we'll hit the magic 777 before the next pnd or dnp gambit.

Because, what you guys call capitalism, is not capitalism. The US is not capitalism since the creation of income tax, the FED, the anti-trust laws, the 60's war on poverty welfare programs, etc. And Saudi Arabia is a monarchy, where the ruler can just seize you if he wants.
Capitalism based on voluntary exchange of goods and services at the market produced by men in competition free of coercion, with private property and personal liberty at the absolute basic right. Show me how can people in the US choose not to use state provided services, and in turn not to pay taxes, like a voluntary trade with companies, and i say you have capitalism in the US. Show me a real private business forces you to buy its product. If it can than it is not a private business in capitalist terms.
Finally! Somebody who understands. Thx Neofelis! I have been reading this forum for months, and, actually reading your posts was the reason i registered! I can finally talk with someone from the "same page". :-) Ok, so no government involved in commerce, so who issues the money? Hello? Bitcoin? We issue it? :-) I mean that is the whole point! So capitalism has never existed before?

Extremes of Socialism (USSR) or Capitalism (USA) rarely last for more than 3 generations. USSR went down first and the US is now on the 3rd gen, nigh last, of it's extreme version of Capitalism. A blend of the two, Socialist Capitalism, may be a stable form that is yet to be tried in earnest however it is being dabbled with in China.
Fundamentally, capitalism is curbed by maximum earning limits for companies or individuals, thereby trying to avoid the pure capitalism motto of 'greed (at the expense of everyone else) is good' whilst simultaneously avoiding the socialist syndrome of 'living of other peoples money'.
Thoughts?
I tend to agree. If Capitalism was about making life better, then why isn't Saudi Arabia the center of invention, innovation, and progressive industries?

Sylvio Gesell's idea from a hundred years ago has been tested with success, then it was shut down by the Austrian government. One modern rendition of the idea is Freicoin based on Bitcoin, but with demurrage (i.e. rotting). Its one of the most compelling ideas ever in economics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWQbN40XypIDemurrage is a gimmick. It is an experimental condition that can only be studied under tightly controlled conditions. It's the financial equivalent of entropy in an isolated experiment. There are many ways to move wealth into permanent storage outside of an experimental economy.

What does Paris Hilton produce? She's made herself into a brand & she's an entrepreneur. Just because she acts dumb doesn't mean she doesn't know about business She's an entrepreneur that produces nothing and brands it as exclusive nothingness. This is why we can't have nice things. The reason you don't have nice thing is because of yourself. Don't blame Paris Hilton for your problems I feel sorry for you. You can't imagine a world where profit is more important than wealth. I mean real wealth. You cannot imagine true wealth that is hindered by profiteering. We could have been colonizing the solar system and be building worlds by now if it weren't for such small mindedness of so many. Fortunately we know how to filter folks like you with brain scan technology. Don't worry, you can be re-educated. earth to cbeast. earth to cbeast. Come back to reality. I'm guessing you are in your early 20's. Maybe someday you'll learn to form arguments into sentences that can persuade people instead of flinging puerile epithets like your own poo. Like how you form arguments? I see I forgot to add reading comprehension. That is another skill you may pick up with age.

What does Paris Hilton produce? She, and sport stars, and rock stars, and so on, are distractions that stop people from looking at the things that matter. Like the fertility rate, inflation, debt and its relation to the exponential function, and politics. So being rich is a distraction that justifies being rich? Seems legit.

There are several banks around the world who are terminating accounts owned by American citizens due to attempted invasive requirements of the American government. It's getting to be quite a problem apparently and the amount of people renouncing American citizenship is spiking. is it a bubble or a trend ? This is out of 330 million, right? The numbers are insignificant compared to the population. Still, it may indicate that someone knows something others don't.

Wouldn't things like colored coins facilitate something like a federal reserve in bitcoin?
Or am I misunderstanding the application of colored coins in this case?
An entity could issue colored coins that are backed by debt, could they not?
Indeed they can.

What if we all stopped comparing our wealth with others. And only look at how much someone else has to check if that person has enough. And instead of demanding something back for your services, why not share your skills and knowledge with those who need your skills and knowledge? If we humans would care less about ourselves and more about our surrounding, it would solve 99.99% of our problems.
There is a huge difference between human kindness and government mandated redistribution. One makes a better world while the latter is slavery no matter what clever word they use to describe it. Government mandated redistribution is done for the greater good and usually with only minor inconvenience. Human kindness only exists in children. Do you expect children to build roads? Are you a child slaver? Bull shit. It isn't yours to take. The very idea that you have some divine right to the product of my work is abhorrent. I earn my money through hard work and the use of my meager talents. No one has a right to take it simply because they believe someone else needs it more than I do. I pay my taxes simply because if I don't men with guns will come to my door and put me in a cage. I do kind things quite often and I am a grown man. If you feel that only children demonstrate kindness you really have a cynical view of the world. You got one thing right. The men have very big guns that you paid for.
