Can you add Viper Coin? (from this thread  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2756410.0 )
Now, Vipercoin is no pool, and it can only SOLO mining. The algorithm is Blake-256 (blakecoin).
I can give you 5000 VIPERs bounty for the first pool.

Thank you.

Hi, the pool for Viper Coin is up but (like everyone else on the ANN thread!) I'm not 100% about the algorithm - sha256 is the same as blakecoin (8 rounds) isn't it? I've put a rig on the pool and it's found a couple of blocks but maybe wait to see if they are confirmed before pointing any other rigs to it...

-o stratum+tcp://pool.lanticmining.co.uk:5743 -u <WALLET_ADDRESS> -p VIPER

(and hold off with any bounty until we make sure it works!)

Thanks,

Steve

Pool is up, working and just received the first coins to an external wallet.

Difficulty is all over the place, varying from 58 up to 697 in the time our rig was running. Only 3 connections. 1 orphaned block out of the 37 found.

Will post this in the Viper Coin ANN also.

Bounty to BZSpJx9XhwLzb2aK3NQMAm2qV2TGqhCZ9u when you have time.

Enjoy!

This is crazy. coin does not have a website.

Yep - I would feel quite safe saying it's not going to be the next Bitcoin but it has value and volume at an exchange (https://graviex.net/markets/bktbtc). Whether you want to mine and setup a MN for a 'free' small income, mine and hold waiting for a pump, mine and sell immediately...all are options and up to you whether any of them make sense for you.

We setup these coins for our customers and in the past would have hidden them once the customer has finished mining them. We've decided now to try making them public for a couple of weeks each to see if there's any interest from anyone else. If noone points their rig at it then no harm done and we'll drop the coin again.

Thanks,

Mark

We put MXT on our public pool recently for a customer and, with the lack of other pools, I thought it may be of interest to some here also.

No registration required and the stratum and port are:
-o stratum+tcp://pool.lanticmining.co.uk:3633 -u <YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS> -p c=MXT

Customer has finished with it now but we'll leave it up for another couple of weeks to see if there's any interest.

If there are any other coins that people are looking for a pool for then also let us know. If you've got enough hash or there are a few people looking to mine it then we'd usually host it free of charge.

Thanks,

Mark

Those prices sure are tempting but I don't think I'd trust them with US address, UK registered site, shipping from Germany, based in the Netherlands?

Previous thread here which seems to come to the same conclusion and one report of being scammed:

'Exchange' literally means being exchanged from the coins that you mined into the BTC you are being paid in.

Don't know what GPU's you are using but the amount doesn't sound particularly wrong.
129  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 3-phase 150kVA Transformer 600V to 240V - How many S9 miners can it supply? on: December 15, 2017, 12:49:40 AM
Hi there,

I got a 3-phase 150kva step-down transformer from 600V to 240V. I am supplying the input of the transformer with 600V 200A 3-phase, and the output of the transformer is 3-phase 240V. This is going into my 240V 400A disconnect, and then into my 240V 400A power distribution panel.  How many S9 Antminers (1400W) can I run this 150kva transformer?

I calculated 61 units. Can some help me confirm my calculations?

S9's draw more like 1600W when hashing depending on the environmental temp.

1600W / 240v = 6.666 amps per unit
400A / 6.666 = 60 units but with no headroom

If it were me I'd not go above 55 or so units to give a 10% margin and also make sure they can't all start at the same time.
