401  Economy / Economics / Re: China's economy is very sick. What to prepare for? on: February 15, 2024, 02:12:23 AM
Instead of arguing, we could just help each other. If China is having issues with liquidity, that means they need cash. What can they do to get cash? More sales, the more they sell, the more cash they get.

What to they have that we don't? Cheap resources and cheap labour (not as cheap as it used to be but could drop again).

So what could we do in this case, the whole world could get near free levels of products, very cheap compared to anywhere else, and very good material as well, and in return pay China. China would be like some guy who does garage sale, gets rid of unwanted stuff, and makes money along the way. This is why I think it could be benefiting everyone, both the buyers, and China at the same time.

Lebron has always been a superstar, even from his first year so to see him still be great is an amazing feeling. Dude has been around for 20 years and he is still knocking it down like it's nothing.

Of course, for anyone who has watched him for a long time, would know the biggest difference between his current state and his old state. He is a lot smarter now, he has always been an incredible basketball mind, but he is not just smart about basketball anymore, not tactics, he is smart about his own body as well which makes the biggest difference, he knows what he has to do at every specific play.

In the end, this dude will go down as either the greatest player ever, or close to greatest, I would say top 2 easily, and I may even give him number one.
403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 14, 2024, 04:36:01 PM
Frankie De Jong gets about 20 million a year, I think that is not the highest after Mbappe, there are plenty like Kane, but it is definitely high. Barcelona can't afford to pay him 20 a year, they can sell him or just release him after his contract is over. I do not get why people are mad about it, Barcelona was managed poorly and they lost all their money that part is true and you can be mad about that part.

However, afterwards as in if you look at it right now then we can see that they are doing the right thing. How can a company who sold a lot of stuff just to keep the lights on, can afford a 20 million a year player. They should go with cheaper players, that would make it a lot better for all of them without a doubt.
404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever introduced an elder gambler to online betting? on: February 14, 2024, 03:32:24 PM
A bit, I have shown my father how to bet on his phone, but that didn't really interested him all too much. What we do not really realize is that older generation didn't gamble because they thought gambling itself was fun, they gambled because it was something to do. For them, it was like going to the movies, or a play, or a museum, or going to a place with friends basically.

This is why I feel like it is going to be something that will change a lot with generations, we do not go to movies maybe as much neither, not sure about that part, because we have netflix at home, we have a lot more stuff at home now. So all in all, I think it's clear that we are looking at things in a different manner, and we gamble for different reasons as well.
405  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: February 14, 2024, 03:53:05 AM
Yes, I'm still paying attention to the current price of bitcoin, so I'm not too interested in betting at this time and let's try betting later, when the bet is 1 minute before it closes, I will bet there so that there is no change in betting opportunities and can calculate profits, currently the price is still below $ 48k and It has risen but has not been able to touch the price of $49k because it seems there may be a little difficulty breaking through. There could be a strong downward push when it touches that level of $49k.
There are still ten days left to the end of the betting period, and I agree with you that placing a bet now may not be the best idea. However, the BTC price has already reached $50k and is trading around that level. If the BTC price can consolidate above $50k, then the ranges of $50k to $55k and $55k to $60k will be relevant for placing bets this month.
Betting on the price is always tough because it could crash from here and that would not be all that weird, or it could go up even more and that wouldn't be too weird neither, it is really just the way it goes and we just need to learn to live with it.

I understand that we are going to end up with something that has to work towards figuring it out, not just for the betting but also for investment reasons or even trading reasons but also it is not possible by everyone. Plus, when you are investing or trading you could wait for another time, like you could sell three days later when it goes up or down, but here it has a very specific time and it will be decided based on that, so you can't really predict it for the exact within time frame.
406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: February 13, 2024, 05:48:21 PM
It should not be like "oh now the league is gone" type of thing, I am going to keep betting on fenerbahce to win, I do not think that they will get a lot worse, it feels like the best way to make money would be betting on them to win. Sure, they lost points this week, but that doesn't mean they will keep on losing all the games, and if you keep betting on them to win then I am sure that they are going to end up winning eventually, we just need to wait for another game.

Plus, Galatasaray has a europa game this week, which means that we are going to end up with a Galatasaray team that will be tired next game out, and they may get a draw as well, so it is not going to be all that hard for Fenerbahce to catch up with Galatasaray.
407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: February 13, 2024, 04:45:34 PM
Already wagered on Galatasaray to win, and there are places that offer 1.78 if you want to get a little bit more, but aside from that I really do believe that they are going to win this game easily. People for some reason think that it will be hard, like it is somehow a game between two close teams, but to be fair it is not even close if you ask me, the teams are not even remotely at similar levels.

I believe that Galatasaray is far superior and they are going to end up with a win no matter what. The quality difference is so high that, I once saw a roster comparison (during their game) between Galatasaray and United, and I would say 6+ out of 11 of the players in Galatasaray was better in their positions, that mattered a lot.
408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 13, 2024, 04:12:42 PM
Juventus is just cracking down now, they are really getting much much worse and it is not even remotely possible for them to get the title anymore, it's gone. Udinese? Really? I may sound a little angry because I am, I have seen them lose points in the last two games and I assumed that they would get a hold of themselves and get a win, this is why I wagered a lot on them and they ended up losing this one too.

It's football, I get it, sometimes there are losing bets and there are winning bets, and this was a losing bet for me I get it. But that doesn't mean that it makes any sense for them at all neither, they should have won this game with ease and yet they ended up getting a loss again, they hurt themselves way more than they hurt me.
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A student investing in bitcoin? on: February 13, 2024, 03:02:23 PM
A student investing in bitcoin?
You should have learned about investing in 2019, when you first got to know Bitcoin, meaning you have matured yourself for 5 years now in everything related to Bitcoin, investment, trading and so on.

But it's not a problem if you continue to deepen your knowledge of investing in Bitcoin from your friends, you must first learn about the current developments in Bitcoin from various sources of information, I'm sure you will be successful in investing.
The old saying "best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, second best time is now" could be also true here as well. We need to remember that bitcoin is something you are both very late to and also never late to. Sure you could have invested earlier and made a lot more money, but just because of that it doesn't mean that you can't invest now.

You could also invest now and make some money as well, would allow you to make a great return without a doubt. I do believe that one thing a student must remember however is the fact that you can't sell it without timing it right. So if you will need the money at certain date, don't invest into bitcoin, you need to let it be and see when it peaks without interrupting the investment process.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 13, 2024, 08:30:23 AM
Who hasn't had ups and downs? I think he's talented, and his commitment to Chelsea until 2031 indicates he's committed. I think that Pochettino's setup hasn't helped him flourish, especially in terms of finding a striker to finish his opportunities. I understand the frustration. I hope Enzo's best is yet to come with time and the correct changes. Chelsea's financial stability should allow these strategic changes, so don't rule them out

Barcelona's interest shows his potential, right? I think Chelsea can recover if they can handle their current issues, especially maximizing Enzo's potential. For now, patience and support are key
Obviously he signed a contract so he can't leave whenever he pleases, but if he is too upset, the new thing that the players do is they go to public (media usually) and say that they are unhappy and wish to leave.

This causes some trouble with the player and the team, and the team punishes him, not play him, even give him fine and not pay a weeks worth salary or something, but eventually the team has to realize that they can't force a player to play, so if the player goes public, then he will get offers and when Chelsea realizes they can't get something out of him, they will just end up cashing him out. He was paid a lot, way too much, and expectations from him is too high, more than what he could provide for the team.
411  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: February 13, 2024, 03:59:22 AM
48 push-ups are still a lot even for those who are already working out consistently, so yeah, this is not what we call a starting point but it's 1, 2, or 3, since push is a hard exercise as it uses our whole body weight. We can only add more reps the stronger we get, so that we are free from injuries.

A good diet like adding extra protein does help a lot. Even if BTC already reaches and crosses $100k, we still can continue doing push-ups because it is still beneficial to our body, and mental health. It should be done for a long term just like when we invest in Bitcoin. It teaches us patience and discipline which can improve other aspects of our lives.
I agree, I would probably not be able to do 48 (right now 50 or 49), never tried that much before but I know that I get tired doing 10, the pain starts at that point. However, nothing here says that you need to do 48 all at one sitting, so you could do 12 when you wake up, 12 a bit after afternoon, 12 before dinner, and 12 before going to bed, that would be 48 in total and you would have it.

If you are not used to doing that, then you would have hard time on first days, not only because you will probably fail, which is the likely result, but also even if you manage to do it for one or two days, then your body will ache for days, and you will not be able to do it at all. It's better to test and find your number, do 8 if you have to, just make sure you constantly do it.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 12, 2024, 06:26:02 PM
Kimi Antonelli is a big big doubt, because he is so young. Not that it doesn't pan out, Max was so young when he started as well. By the time Hamilton leaves, Kimi will be 18 years old and he would be having one season at f2 with one of the best ever teams under his belt, could even end up winning the title considering Prema always gets a good car out every year, so that would definitely make sense.

However, when you are getting a young driver like that, you are risking the possibility that they may not pan out. Whereas, we have so many great talents at f2 that is getting overlooked, I feel like they should be getting some attention as well, I know that there are only limited seats at f1, but f2 should be looked at more with how some of the drivers are not good at all for f1.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 12, 2024, 05:42:05 PM
United really got a good win here, that was one of the most needed three points they ever had and it is great to see them get the win there. I get that it was a difficult game and it took a lot of luck to win as well, but they played well enough.

The fact that United always starts the seasons badly and then gets better is a thing that they need to really consider, they must be doing something wrong, like maybe they do not know how to spend the summer? Maybe their summer training before the season starts, and the fact that they do bad friendlies or something? I have no idea what the situation is there, but they may finish well this season, like if they finish fourth I would not be super shocked, so they need to figure out how to start better.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital Real Estate: Is it worth it? on: February 12, 2024, 04:15:24 PM
These type of questions are a bit dynamic and doesn't really one have answer. It depends on both which way, and when. Which way means I think there are multiple projects that tries to do this, and unfortunately majority of them sucks and you will lose money, but there are a few who has made some money for the investors, in those ones you could make some money.

The "when" part means that even on those few that made money, not all would keep on making money, market is volatile, so you could have made money with them at some time, but maybe you can't right now. All these matters and this is why the best thing to do at this time would be making sure that you could actually come up with right timing and right project at the same time to profit.
415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break in gambling on: February 12, 2024, 03:49:33 PM
It makes sense if you are tired, why would you want to push yourself to the limit when you do not know how you are going to do. It does make sense in the way that if you could give a break and come back better than you should do that.

Not a lot of people do that though, not the part that is difficult to give a break, that is already very hard to do and people do not give breaks when they should which is important however, there are also people who give a break and come back exactly like they used to be which doesn't really make any sense to me. I think it would make sense if we could have something better, it would make sense in a way that it would be not all that crazy and has to do with something that will benefit them if they could reset.
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: February 12, 2024, 02:48:32 PM
I honestly do not think that it would be wise to get rid of Messi if he wants to play just because you want to make some other young player join. Young player could join later on when Messi retires, but this guy is idol for a whole nation, forget that he is idol for many football fans, many kids all around the world loves him. So him playing is not just about winning, it's cheering with him when he wins and crying with him when he loses.

It is about making a statement with him. They will play him as long as he plays and there won't be anything further than that. I think it would make sense to just keep it going, there is really nothing that would be all that simple, it shouldn't be really possible for anyone else to wonder.
417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: February 11, 2024, 07:23:33 PM
I would say Horner looks EXACTLY like the type of boss you wouldn't want to have that does mobbing. I mean he looks quite intense and quite arrogant and he thinks he knows it all because he holds the power. So, if some smaller level employee did something he didn't like, he probably "abused" as in like yelled and threw stuff and so forth.

This is still a quite terrible thing and yet it is so normalized in society that we do not see that as a problem, we just warn him and move on and he tries to control himself a bit more, loses himself a bit again time to time but tries to be better. It is of course not as terrible as abuse in other sense, that would be disgusting, but I really doubt that would be the case, it is just bullying because he is a real bully, we can see that.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 11, 2024, 06:56:03 PM
Honestly even with this it doesn't mean that Leverkusen will win the league. I understand that Leverkusen fans are super excited for now and I can see why and there is nothing wrong with that, I do get that it is going to be something that will benefit them for the long term to have that five point lead. But do we really think that they will not get a tie?

Not even a single loss all season long? They have 5 points now, if they get a tie and Bayern wins then the difference is 3, if they lose and bayern wins then Bayern is right there. So, they need to do very well and it is a risky thing. Doesn't also mean they will lose, they could very well win more points than Bayern for the rest of the season and looks like they probably will.
419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: February 11, 2024, 05:14:33 PM
I mean, what if he plays the next world cup and doesn't win it?, he will definitely retire after that one, and it would be a bit more disappointing than retiring as a champion.
You are right. I think so too. Although I see Messi will still be called up to the Argentina national team if he doesn't retire. But what if Argentina loses? And what's even worse, what if Argentina experiences a world cup curse where the team that won the previous world cup will have difficulty qualifying from the group stages in the next world cup? That would be the worst moment for Messi because of course some people would blaspheme him. If Messi doesn't retire I'm sure he will still be called up. The decision is in his hands to choose to answer the call or not.
Honestly, with him getting them the title last time around, I really do not think that it would eb all that shocking, it has to be something that will not be all that confusing. All fans will make sure that they are in love with him and not say a single bad word to him as well. I know this because he won them a cup, and they love him for it, he won everything that could be won with the national team, they can't expect much else from him.

This is of course true in this case, but also it means that we are talking about a team that will most probably qualify without a trouble, they are good enough for that. There are enough positions in Latin America that they are doing fine with whatever they are given, and qualify almost each time.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 11, 2024, 03:21:04 PM
Barcelona is not really that type of team where we are talking about a big "demise" of them, they are big enough that they have income from not only from transfers that they make from their youth setup players being sold for a good amount, but also a team that keeps getting money from both la liga and also UCL and also fans as well from ticket sales.

It's clear that the gap between Barcelona and Real Madrid looks getting wider, but last year Barcelona won the league, just because they lost it this year doesn't mean they suck. I think they will do fine eventually and that means we are going to get better and better eventually, that is the most important part of their development, it will take some time but they will be better.
