501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will FTT token everly hit it ATH again? on: January 21, 2024, 08:58:03 PM
In less than 24 hours today FTT token has pump at about %51 from $1.22 to about $1.80 so I said let me bring this information to the forum if there is any possibility that this token Can still recover to it's all time high again. Because sometimes one can use such opportunity to achieve something.
Although we talk about bitcoin investment always but just decided to share with us

You can share your thoughts on this.
The increase at that time was closely related to news about the possibility that the FTX exchange would be restored or would operate again. But information about it is still limited and there is no certainty. so everything is just based on speculative. so it's still very risky. But if we are ready to take the risk then of course buying now could be an option. Because if FTX is really launched again, FTT will probably experience another high increase.
I feel sorry for those who FOMO, thinking what they read will happen. They should have learned their lessons by now. I hope so? With all the damage that FTX have delt, I don't think they can restore their reputation again. And how will they pay those who owe them money? They need to that first. In investing, there is always a risk. If one don't want to face it, then they shouldn't invest at the first place.

It does not mean though that we will now invest on projects like FTT, but we should only go for the best ones. If the same people behind FTX wants to try again, they better do that on a brand new project and for sure they will conceal their selves which will still make the investors doubt about them.
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 21, 2024, 07:44:06 PM
The league is getting to a disgusting level at this point. I am sorry if there are any Real Madrid fans or not, but I think it is quite easy to just see that referee ended up giving the game to Real Madrid. Almeira ended up deserving the game and they should not consider this game as won by Real Madrid, that is just not that normal. I hope that we could consider changing some referees since it could be the only thing that will clean this league.

This game was rigged as much as possible and was forced to be given to Real as hard as possible, not a good scene to see. Almeira fans must be furious right now and they can't really consider this as a possible result for the game, a straight up loss to Real Madrid would have been normal, but losing like this? Horrible.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 21, 2024, 06:25:33 PM
I know that people do not like to hear something like this because it sounds weird. But, I can tell you that Sheffield United and West Ham United game looked like the most tough situation which is why I believe that the most fun part was the unexpected part. From red cards to penalty last minute to many things, it was quite fun and that is the most fun part without a doubt.

I think that game was worth the watch and it was very fun to see. I think the penalty Sheffield got was a bit of a dubious one but in the end the draw was a very well deserved one for both teams. United and Tottenham tie was also a good game too for those who are not fans of the both teams, that should not be a problem at all, both teams played very well.

I don’t see any posts about majestic 7 so just a reminder it’s active and I hope that everyone got their picks ready because it should be a good weekend or at least I’m hoping it is  Grin. Lastly remember to check the latest squad ex Halland is yet out but good news is that De Bruyne is back and Sancho is no longer with Manchester United hence select carefully.
Losing my interest and hope a bit especially for the 100/100 reward since I got less correct picks in the last few rounds. The current round is also not good for me, I got 1 correct pick only out of the first 4 matches. By the way, anyone here participating in the current Crash Collector tournament? The prize pool is great and there are 10 paid places with $2500 for the top place. As I can see in the leaderboard, not so tough competition between players. The gap between 3 and below positions (up to 10) is just so small but there are still so many days remaining and many changes may happen in the last days since the tournament is running for more than 15 days in total.
I think that is exactly when you should gamble. I mean you are not spending any money anyway and you do not have any hope that you could win, so what is worse that could even happen? I can tell you, you could go 0/7 and that is the worst but you already had no hope anyway so why would you mind getting that type of terrible result at all?

I believe that it would not matter to you because you can't really do anything about it anyway. Thinking about that, we could realize that it is not going to be a big dela and we are going to end up with a result that could be better than what we assumed we would get. If you assume that you will lose and you end up losing it is fine but if you assume you will lose and you end up winning then that's awesome.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 20, 2024, 06:54:23 PM
There is a big possibility that PSG can still qualify for the round of 16, even though Real Sociedad is not a weak team, in terms of squad and experienced PSG is far superior to Real and Mbappè will perform as well as possible in the UCL in his final period with PSG and if he can bring PSG to achieve the final. Although it is very difficulty for PSG to achieve at the moments because there are teams like Real Madrid, Man City and Inter who are much more consistent and stronger than PSG. Even so I hoped that PSG can perform well in the UCL this season.
It is true, I do agree that Sociedad is not a terrible team, after all they are at the last sixteen and that means they are better than so many teams and it's right that they have done very well this season.

However, I also agree that PSG is a whole another level and they are not going to end up losing this matchup. In fact, if they do end up losing this one out then I am not sure PSG will even want Mbappe at the team, why spend so much money on a single player when you are losing to Sociedad? Mbappe could leave and play anywhere he wants so much and PSG could very well win the league and lose at UCL without him too. So they have to win and they will definitely win this will be an easy bet for me for sure.

I predict Bitcoin to fall to about $37,000 and if crash happens, it can dive to around $35,000.

I keep an important remimder in my mind, for my investment, Bitcoin halving will come in April 2024 and Bitcoin block subsidy will be halved.

With increasing demand from Bitcoin Spot ETFs, together with less new bitcoin from next 210,000 blocks after April 2024 halving, I am really optmistic with Bitcoin price next four years.
I mean it doesn't look like it is going down there, not saying it wont but it is too early for a "I told you so" part just yet. We may end up where we are, it's over 41k right now and thinking it may actually end up somewhere near there anyway. This is why I believe that we should not really be considering that as an issue, we should consider that as a problem on the long run if we go down but we are not going down right now anyway.

I believe that the best thing to do right now would be just making sure that we are on the right side. At the moment it is not where you think it will be, under 40k is not around 37k, certainly not around 35k neither, it is above 41k so you are not right just yet, you need to wait a bit more.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 20, 2024, 01:39:21 PM
The Arab League and the clubs are not even third class. Why should Mourinho do that? To provide development aid? He's earned enough money that he doesn't have to do that to himself. Many stars only want to leave Saudi Arabia, see Jordan Henderson, who left for Ajax Amsterdam after less than six months, thus giving up a lot of money. Firminho and others are also desperate to leave. Mourinho should take some time out and then take over a top club. In the second half of the season, more coaches will be traditionally sacked that opens opportunities for him.
Yes Mourinho does need to take a break before he returns to coaching, but I haven't heard of him being linked with a new club or rumors about which clubs are interested in him. Taking over a top club again would be a coach's desire, but is anyone interested? that's the question. i don't mean to underestimate Mourinho, obviously he's one of the best coaches ever. but lately I've seen his strategies go downhill and are easy for opponents to read, I don't know if it's because of the limited players he needs, or there are other reasons.
I think going to the SPL won't hurt either, he can try there and enliven the competition on the coaching bench, especially since the money there will also be more. But it comes back to what kind of decision he makes.
I mean usually coaches who do not get to keep their job during the season, waits at least until the summer to find another job. His agent is probably public information for the teams, and they will probably contact someone and all, which will result with him getting a lot of job offers during this period.

I am not saying that he will get good offers, but he probably already got some bad offers that he rejected. That's what happens when you are a big coach, some third division nobody team will offer you peanuts for the rest of the season, just to have you there, and it is not smart to do that at all so you reject right away, but it is guaranteed that he will not be left without a job if he wants a job. What may happen is, if no team that he likes to accept offers him a job, he can retire, but he will always have a job if he ever wants to be employed.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: January 20, 2024, 11:46:36 AM
When you are a player like Mbappe, a good, even great player but with a great team and end up winning the world cup at very very early age, even before you win UCL, you sort of think that World Cup is great, but it is not as special as some other players make it out to be, because you won it when you were like what 19-20 years old? It doesn't feel like it's that important, you do not grasp the value of winning something like that properly, even though he is probably aware how much it worths, he can't fully understand it like Messi can.

Messi won EVERYTHING before he won world cup, that dude has won everything he could ever win, he was the best player for a whole decade, even more, and of course when he finally won the world cup after winning everything else, that must have felt a lot better.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 20, 2024, 10:02:21 AM
There are many "middle level" teams in the NBA now, doing better than people expected, and that is good because for the past some seasons we have seen way too many "just couple of teams trying, rest tanking" type of situation, so when you have like 10 teams playing either great to just decent levels, that is actually fun to see.

I can name 10 teams that are trying at least, and that's important because if you are trying then you are doing the good job, and that should be the most important part of it. I understand it may not feel that way at times, but that is still a good thing to do, I believe that it is still a good job and should be considered a great return one way or another. I believe that NBA will get more value out of teams being good.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: January 19, 2024, 03:41:24 PM
Messi is a key factor in Argentina success in the 2022 edition of the World Cup. As he is still in his prime, it is unlikely that Argentina will be able to defend the trophy in the next edition without Messi. The Inter Miami star age factor is a big question mark, whether Messi will be fit and ready to play when he is 38 years old, I personally doubt that. Unless Messi plays in a more competitive league to maintain his skills and fitness until he is 38 years old. That is the real challenge and fact that all fans must accept, even though we understand that without Messi the appeal of the World Cup decreases, as does Ronaldo.

I am sure that the upcoming 2026 World Cup will bring out other favorite teams, and so will new young talents. The atmosphere will also be very different from before, and most of the players competing in the Qatar World Cup will no longer play for their national teams. Talking about favorite teams, I think teams from Europe will dominate, such as Portugal, Germany, France, Spain, England, and there are several more. Argentina and Brazil, as usual, are the favorite teams in every edition, and host powers such as America, Canada and Mexico are also worth considering. But what is clear is that the journey is still very far away, because currently the World Cup is still in the qualifying stage, Brazil itself is experiencing difficulties, but I am sure they will qualify.

Here are the FIFA rankings that were last updated in December 2023: https://www.fifa.com/fifa-world-ranking/men
I do agree that he will not be good enough to bring the cup all by himself, but Argentina is not a team that has only one star, they have many other players that are good as well. I think we should also realize that Di Maria helped them a lot, just remember the finals and you will remember how good he was, that dude scored one and he also got the penalty for the other, he was seriously good all game and he is old too and he will not be either that good or maybe not even play.

So they are all getting older, but if they can find some good young players that will do their best, they can still defend. Messi could still play, he may not be as good as he used to be, but others could be better than they used to be and cover the difference.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: January 18, 2024, 06:33:51 PM
It is hoped that the peak of investment (PIF) in the development of Saudi football will occur in 2034, when FIFA has officially appointed Saudi as the host for the 2034 edition of the World Cup. Starting with the construction of the Saudi League (SPL) with the recruitment of Ronaldo, which is believed to be the gateway for other top European players play there. It's true, before Ronaldo came to the SPL, many of us didn't know what the SPL was like, how the competition for trophies was, and we never even knew there were clubs called Al Nassr, Al Hilad, Al Ittihad and so on. Al Nassr succeeded in taking advantage of the momentum, recruiting Ronaldo from Man United who Ten Hag no longer wanted, a big leap occurred where the SPL suddenly became famous just because of Ronaldo existence.

To reach a competitive level that is close to the Top European Leagues, of course it takes time, it cannot be achieved in a short time. Even though financially, PIF can easily buy players from any league, it is even believed that PIF can easily acquire any club in Europe. However, this does not necessarily increase the intensity of competition, because on the other hand, only four clubs are currently covered by PIF. The competition at the moment is certainly not balanced, the strengths of the fellow contesting clubs in the SPL are very different, because only four clubs have sufficient strength and squad depth. Over time, it is possible that other SPL clubs will increase their strength so that in the end, there will be tight competition.

In the future, I think it will not only be players who will be recruited, but top European coaches will also likely be recruited. The latest news is that Jose Mourinho is also being linked with a move to the SPL, following the steps of Steven Gerrard, who previously coached Al Ettifaq. I think sooner or later the SPL will gain a place in the eyes of football fans, and with the League image increasing, it will automatically increase the fan base that follows the developments that occur there.
They are going to keep investing more, but how much more? I mean the fact that Qatar supposedly spent that much, is beyond understanding, and if they start building bigger and better more modern stadiums at SA right now, they will eb finished by 2030 for sure, hell if they start now, by 2023 it would be "old" stadium to be fair, so they have a few more years to start for sure.

I think the best thing to do at this point would be just making sure the best what they can with the money they are spending. I always said that SA knew that they are going to run out of oil, so the yare investing into things that will keep on making money for afterwards, and football is a good example, if they grow enough, it will generate revenue for sure.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 18, 2024, 05:34:25 PM
Xavi is said to have threatened his players with leaving Barcelona if they didn't believe in him anymore. I'm not surprised with hearing such news honestly because Barcelona are really poorly performing these days. They have conceded so many goals so far unlike the previous season. It isn't good at all to see them in this situation in the middle of the season already.  Sad

They aren't bad at scoring goals at least in general. However they really need to work on strengthening their defense. They don't have a bad defense line actually but the players just don't perform like themselves this season. Xavi will need to make them believe in themselves somehow.
I am not sure if I have heard of something like this before at all. Threaten the players to leave if they do not trust him? I mean players normally don't care, hell I have even heard about players NOT wanting a coach, like making him get fired, but never seen players love a coach so much that the coach threatens them with leaving.

Normally that should not be the case, but if Xavi is loved that much then he has a chance to use that card. In the end, we should be seeing them get better, you can't have great seasons all the time, sometimes it's bad seasons and all you can do is find what went wrong and try to fix that. Their defense is not as good, then they should study what was great last year and what is not this year and fix that next year.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: January 18, 2024, 05:10:24 PM
Yep. History Repeats. Third season syndrome
But I don't understand why management gave the club to someone who has never coached in Serie A.
Whatever it is, the decision has been made. The Mourinho era has passed and is in the past.
Now, Let's wait to see how it goes...

Welcome home Daniele De Rossi. The new era has begun. Player, Captain, and Coach.
And I hope Roma qualifies for the next round of the UEFA Europa League.
The logic is that when you are on your third season for a club, you should be able to at least fight for a European competition place. Last year, when they were going for that Europa finals, we knew that they weren't even placed at that spot at the league, and only got there because they won the conference league, it is just too bad for him to be not a good league coach but a great manager for the cups.

I think it should be important to notice that Mourinho is still not a bad manager, he is just not what Roma needs right now, Roma used him for what they needed him for, and now that it's done, they are going to look for a manager that would be good for the league, and an Italian that knows the situation fits the description better.

There will always be referee decisions to argue, but the important thing is the end result, if Galatasaray won, then does it really matter if they ended up getting fair treatment or not? If they lost or gotten a draw then I would say there would be some difference, there would be some trouble there, they could blame the ref for losing points and this would have gone for weeks.

However, I got my money and that means they won so I am fine with anything really, if I lost money on this game because of the ref then I would be pissed too, maybe more than the players, players do not really get that much bad treatment if they lose, they still get paid when they lose, I don't, I need them to win to make money so I would be more pissed than them.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 17, 2024, 06:53:23 PM
Kelvin De Bruyne without doubt is a very important member of the Manchester City team and he really proved his worth when he featured for the club for the first time in over four months after picking up injury in August last year. His performance in that game was simply breathtaking as he came from the bench to score a goal and provide an assist for another to help Manchester City come from behind to take all three points against Newcastle United during the weekend.
Kevin and Manchester City are trying to enjoy their last happy seasons because the career of Kevin is counting down. He is returning impressively from his injury and if he continues, he will help Manchester City a lot in coming months when both Premier League and Champions League will come to most important months in this season.

However we must be realistic about Kevin as he is older and his body will become more sensitive with injury. With abundant money in Manchester City for player transfer, they will not have need to keep Kevin in their club and soon they will say goodbye with Kevin. Winning one more Premier League and one more Champions League will be a perfect goodbye from Kevin.
He is not "that" old yet, dude is 32 years old, Modric is still playing fairly decently at Madrid at age 38 right now, I think if Modric can do that, then I could guess that there is no reason why Kevin can't do that, it would mean another six years of him, that is a lot of time in football terms, teams do change players a lot more often than that.

I understand that it may feel a little weird at first, but it does look like a good thing in the end. I believe that the best thing to do in this case would be just let him be and let him show you when it is done. If he starts to play badly, then you can cut him, but until he does, there is no need to think about the future, he is still there to give all he has and that is a good talent right now.
516  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 17, 2024, 04:29:31 PM
Just to be clear, there is never smoke without fire. The fact that Weree was asked to pass KYC is not just a random KYC check that Roobet just wanted to run all of a sudden. If they are investigation something, that does not mean there was a problem on Weree side exactly. Maybe there was a glitch with game provider and now they are sorting things out, or some issues with origin of funds, deposit or withdrawal addresses. Lots of things to be checked, so there isnt an immediate solution.
I do believe that when there is a situation like that, it's usually to make sure there is nothing wrong. Just because someone is asked KYC doesn't mean there is an issue, I have been asked and cleared before and nothing happened, it was just an ordinary process and nothing happened for me, which proves my point that just because you are asked doesn't mean you did something wrong, it also doesn't mean that you are innocent neither, basically what I am trying to say is that being asked KYC means nothing at all, it is just a cautionary thing.

It could be nothing at all like what happened to me and you will get your money, or they could find something and then you may end up with a trouble, KYC request doesn't decide that at all.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't only pray for mass adoption, start HODLING!! on: January 17, 2024, 01:48:46 PM
"Start" is an understatement, people should already have some bitcoin that they are holding at this point and if they are not, they are a little late. But you know the saying, the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, second best time is now, so I do agree that people should start holding some right now. I get that it's not going to be all that easy, and I get that we are not going to get anything major, but we should be considering the situation to grow as much as we can.

I understand that we are not going to be all that crazy, and we should be considering the deal to get better. Just buy as much as you can afford to lose, and hold it as long as possible to make this money, it will definitely good for you without a doubt.
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: January 17, 2024, 05:54:42 AM
It is all about both managerial experience and money, I believe. We do not see all that many managers coming out of African continent that becomes great, it is just not getting to Europe level, but that is not special, because we do not see many north American or Asian neither, Europe usually hires either European ones, or at worst case Latin American ones.

The few African ones that are good, end up getting paid a lot of money by European clubs and get hired from there as well. So that means, African national teams do not have that much pool to choose from and not enough money to hire someone great neither. Even Brazil is having manager troubles, so it is not really weird, these days it is not really that easy to find someone decent for cheap.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Use your winning responsibly on: January 16, 2024, 06:53:03 PM
People who just assume that they could do something silly like that are not people who I really would expect doing better neither. I think we should realize that life is not all that simple and we need to arrange something that would be a little off, and if that is possible then we could make it work one way or another.

I understand that we can't make it work, it is not that simple, and we should consider other options, but winning and taking it out and spending for your life sounds as good as it gets. If you bet 50 dollars, and end up winning a few thousand, you could very well leave 50 in, and take it all out. You already agreed to bet with 50 anyway, so all the rest are just benefits, and you should keep on betting like you used to.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 16, 2024, 06:23:02 PM
I had this feeling that this Everton issue that got them lose 10 point would definitely come back to hurt them in a different way. I can't really get why they had to face this same penalty twice in one season, when it happened to Juventus they managed to get past it and they did very well on the log after the deduction of point but with Everton I don't see them doing any good in this one after the first punishment that transformed them, this upcoming problem would only kill the morale of the team, who knows they might end up in the relegation zone.
It would be very unfortunate for Everton if the 2nd punishment really happened to Everton, they have been working hard to collect points to get out of the relegation zone after the first point deduction but they have to suffer bad luck for the second time in 1 season. This is a heavy blow for Everton because they have violated the rules that have been set so they have to carry out this punishment after experiencing huge losses due to breaking the rules they have to receive an even more severe punishment. I think maybe this season Everton will end the relegation zone if the second punishment really happens before this season ends.
I mean they already got punished, and they are already not doing well, I am sensing that they will relegate anyway, so if they get punished more and more, that would not be an issue. I think even more important thing is that if they do get punished, then we are talking about not getting punished next year, that should be something that will end up with something such as "at least next year is fine".

Because, if they do not get punished a second time this season but they do end up with another punishment next season, then that would be a bit different situation. I think we should be considering the situation to be a little different and that has to be the most important part. I know it is not that easy, but we could come up with acceptable situation if they get punished this year and not next year.
