The official price of an Antminer S1 is 1.37BTC right now (180 GHS nominal hashrate)
The power consumption per GHS of BFL 55nm is about 2.5x higher than the S1 (5W vs 2W)
This makes your second hand miners almost 10 times more expensive per GHS than brand new ones, and 2.5x more expensive in power usage. You should revise your offer or get ready to be called names. Just saying.
Cheers
Thats what I was going to say but my mouth hit the floor...

Good, we didn't ask for you help in the first place. If I gave blatantly false information, made a retarded comment and then got smacked down with truth and fact I might make a statement similar to the one you just made above. I realize you are probably a child and don't know how to act in this situation. I guess you must try and save face in any means necessary. The alternative is to learn from your peers and take the information and assistance offered gracefully. Have a great day and I hope that I have given the original poster that I replied to the information needed to get closer to the hash rates that other owners are getting (775-810) which is a huge improvement over the 710/720. Dont let a few bad apples spoil the batch. I def appreciate your input and actually bookmarked your ltctalk thread to try when I get back from vaca.

What coins are you guys even talk about? If the leaked draft is true then there aren't any coins left...
That "leaked" doc is not from an internal source. Have you read it? If that was an internal doc they language would be much different. Not to mention that Mark already said its not from Gox but is "more or less" accurate. If he in fact was in legal trouble he would not be discussing specifics on numbers hence the vague answer. Im not saying that Im buying this theory but like I said, it is interesting.

Tips: - Pick 3 pools you would like to support and setup the miner and make sure it connects to all 3 for a little bit - Have CGMiner set to failover to the other 2 pools should #1 go down - Set auto-withdrawals to a reasonable number like 0.25BTC - Send to a wallet that you have the keys printed out on paper - Keep this wallet offline as much as possible - Read the thread posted above and then forget about the miner (unless you like tweaking)
All great advise.

Hi Neal,
Im having a small issue where my pi gets hug up and crashes about every 12 hours. Im running v0.2.4 pr2 with bfgminer as the defualt. I have 2 6 chip jallie's running on it. I switched over to cgminer3.6.1 for tonight. Any reason why this would be going on? I know my install is stable I used to run some block erupters on it with no problems.
My second question would be, can I configure peon to restart the miner program once the os has booted up? If I cant solve the problem of the pi getting hung up I would like to schedule auto reboots to try to solve my problem of the unit just being down if I dont check on it.
Thanks.

Come on, why should I prove it to you? Does any lair in this world would not your money which had been sent from Paypal? You framed me with negative feedback, you only deserve living in the cynical world. And I know who you are too, Sean.
You didnt take the money from paypal because you where trying to use a fake email to redeemed it. Im glad you know who I am, Im not the one with multiple accounts here that have scammer tags. If you have any interaction with me you know my name because I dont hide it. I use a gmail account that is the same as my name here. Its not a secret because I dont try to rip people off and Im accountable for my actions. Im happy that you claim you sold the machine on CL, maybe you should stick to selling there because your blowing it here.

The set up that I linked is running well, although one card is constantly 10c hotter. I think Im going to undervolt it some more.

Im hoping someone can help with this problem, I cant seem to get my r9-270x-CDFR's to run stable in cgminer 3.7.2 my conf file looks like this: "intensity" : "17", "vectors" : "1", "worksize" : "256", "thread-concurrency" : "8000", "kernel" : "scrypt", "lookup-gap" : "0", "shaders" : "1280", "gpu-engine" : "0-1125", "gpu-fan" : "0-85", "gpu-memclock" : "1500,1500", "gpu-memdiff" : "0", "gpu-powertune" : "0", "gpu-vddc" : "0.000", "temp-cutoff" : "95", "temp-overheat" : "85", "temp-target" : "70", "api-mcast-port" : "4028", "api-port" : "4028", "expiry" : "120", "gpu-dyninterval" : "7", "gpu-platform" : "0", "gpu-threads" : "1", "hotplug" : "5", "log" : "5", "no-pool-disable" : true, "queue" : "1", "scan-time" : "30", "scrypt" : true, "temp-hysteresis" : "3", "shares" : "0", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin" }
The cards are showing ~450kh/s but are throwing crazy HW errors and eventually cgminer and or windows 7 crash. When I try to set my thread-concurrency to 12000 cgminer will not start. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I would be happy to tip anyone who can get me up and running. You don't need to specify shades when you specify TC, but anyway, you need to increase your TC, try something like 15232, 16384, 16640 or 15361 (shaders*n + 1 usually works best). If that doesn't help, than reduce your clocks speed back to stock and try again. Also, try and leave lookup-gap at its default value of 2. That TC 15232 will only work if I make the lookup-gap set to 4. That drops my hash rate to 300kh/s but no more HW. Im going to try increasing the TC like you suggested.
