I think it's not enough amount of money to invest. You will spend a lot of that on withdrawals fees to get your income out of the exchange.

IMO every single ICO coming out in the next few months/going on now looks like complete garbage. I haven't seen one that looks legit.

I don't think cryptos should be mixed with startups/kickstarters. Cryptos should be trustless, transparent and decentralized, ICOs are none of those things so using a blockchain platform doesn't really offer any benefits to them, in fact just giving a bad name to cryptos.
I dont think by the same way as you, icos are a good thing after all. Maybe without them, there would not even be a quarter of all the altcoins that are on the top 20 at the moment. Dogecoin has been my favorite alt coin for quite a long time. It serves as a good cryptocurrency for tipping others, as well as being a fun and inexpensive medium of exchange. However, I'm worried what might happen to Dogecoin in the future, since it has been quite some time that no new version of the QT wallet has been mentioned, neither some innovation to keep it going for the long term. It would become ideal for Dogecoin to add SegWit to its code, and gain traction if it gains acceptance from the miners. Then, if it manages to become the first cryptocurrency to accept the scalable solution, it could rise in popularity once more (not to mention that transaction will be near instantaneous). Nevertheless, Dogecoin is a great cryptocurrency being inexpensive and relatively stable, making it a great way to tip others or send micropayments faster than BTC at a fraction of the cost. There is so many scam projects, and not all of the ICOs are successful or having some potential. taking good time reading more about the project before investing, will help you to avoid big losses.
