22  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the monetary models of cryptocurrencies are flawed! on: January 30, 2018, 10:52:29 AM
limited supply is not a flaw, and that does not limit growth in value. the good thing it does is inflation control, manipulations with printing money, corruption
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin really secure on: January 30, 2018, 10:35:29 AM
the context of TS implies investment security, not blockchain security probably. looking at full span price of btc it may look very secure - exponential growth. the rule of thumb in finance is that past performance does not guarantee future. and the back side of any investment is risk. so of course it is not.

31  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the common cause of poverty? on: January 29, 2018, 09:27:04 PM
a common cause for any inequality is defined in economisc 101 - resources are scarce and spread out unequally. i would count human qualities such as intilligence as a resouces too.

37  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 10, 2018, 11:00:41 PM
hard to imagine how the gov will manage supply with two currencies on hand and.. probably many other private coins in circulation. something shall dominate and the other be restricted somehow. crypto shall finally pick up the lead. within 5-10 years i think ))
38  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin better than stocks, real-estate? on: December 31, 2017, 04:26:35 PM
bitcoin has cons adn pros like stocks or other assets, it does have greater return over real estate, but we take much greater risk investing in crypto. i would say it is highly subjective to claim that btc is better.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: December 31, 2017, 04:21:15 PM
bitcoin itself can not lead to a corruption i think. some may use btc in the corruption schemes as any other fiat money or assets, but at least one thing is out from corruption world - you can not print btc on your wish
40  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the government know bitcoin in your country? on: December 31, 2017, 04:15:48 PM
the gov may ban crypto ( some have already done so), but that will not stop its development and sooner or later they will have to admint it. those banning may find themseves far behind the world
