Corruption is to Bitcoin like air is to a bird. It's the natural environment. Greed, lack of regulation, possible anonymity, irreversible transactions. It's a perfect formula.

As an actual ledger it can't be corrupted and that may well help reduce overall corruption elsewhere. Many things surrounding it carry a fairly nasty smell.
we all know how corruptions happening here in bitcoin community, being
decentralized posibility of having corrupt in every sides of cryptoworld..and so far
its undeniable and uncontrollable this needs a metal hand to take it down and with
a dedicated and responsible leadership.
It is more difficult to trace cash than tracing a bitcoin. I am with you in this thing that bitcoin is going to reduce corruption rate and this money laundering type thing. I don’t know why some fools are all the time trying to spoil image of bitcoin by spread rumors about it like this one that it will increase corruption. It is just a currency with a tendency to make you rich, nothing is wrong in using it at all.

Anything that has to do with money can lead to corruption. Sooner or later people will find a way to corrupt bitcoin. As long as there are greedy people in this world there will always be corruption. That's the sad truth.

Well, of course - with anonymity - it's easier to make black payments, but this is true also with cash or with other forms of value.
I don't think that bitcoin could be related directly with corruption problems.

People will do everything to make more money so easy even in a wrong way like corrupting. I couldn't say yes or no because I didn't heard about corrupting in bitcoin. As far as I only scam that I always heard. Anyways, I don't think bitcoin can be lead to corruption since they don't know about bitcoin they are only read about bitcoin but don't know it is true.

However because of the high price value of bitcoin maybe someday people will use it in bad ways it could lead corruption.

We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
It can lead to corruption since the power of bitcoin nowadays is very strong wherein if the strength of it is abused, corruption will surely take place. We should also be careful always on spreading bitcoin knowledge so that we can avoid the misuse and greedy persons in it. Bitcoin should be used in proper and should not be corrupted so that trouble won't occur anymore.

Bitcoin doesn't lead to corruption. People and their greed leads to corruption. Doesn't really matter which currency they use, whether it's bananas, camels, USD or Bitcoins.

Thats not true, actually bitcoin will reduce corruption because all transactions are recorded, all people can supervise country's money. We will always know where the money send, there is no anonimity in this case because the owner of the wallet must be announced in the first time.

Bitcoin can actually be a solution to the problem of corruption in various worlds because bitcoin provides a transparency system for all transaction activity. However, if you want to realize bitcoin as a solution it is necessary for cooperation between bitcoin developers with the government of a country so that transactions of government officials can be monitored by the agency that monitors the state finances.

The fact that Bitcoin it has been made by the most noble ideas it doesn't mean that the power of it can't corrupt people, so yes, Bitcoin can corrupt a person or system.

Cannot be. Because blockchain technology is immutable and totally decentralized. No one can control and change what is recorded on blockchain technology. So it can never lead to corruption. But it can be a storekeeper of money for those corrupt individuals.

I believe bitcoin can also be corrupted especially that it is not being protected by legal terms. There are people without conscience you will do everything just to and take all the opportunity just get into illegal acts and it is uncontrollable.

I think bitcoin only can cover the corruption with it's anonymous not lead to the corruption. Corruption is exist long time ago when Bitcoin wasn't born yet.

I think Bitcoin solves corruption problems rather than leading to corruption because before you make any transaction with bitcoin it must be confirm by the network which involves other users. That will serve as checks and balances.

Yes i think bitcoin can lead to corruption. As you said bitcoin is money and as long as there are greedy people who only wants money for them to have better lives, there will always be corruption. There will always be chances that someone will do anything in order for them to satisfy their cravings, especially if it involves money.

bitcoin itself can not lead to a corruption i think. some may use btc in the corruption schemes as any other fiat money or assets, but at least one thing is out from corruption world - you can not print btc on your wish

Bitcoin not only leads to corruption but it fosters it. Since bitcoin assures you anonymity all you have to do is loot public funds, and buy bitcoins with it. There would be 98% assurance that you’re never going to be caught.

Yes! Bitcoin also lead to corruption. I am referring to those bounty manager or dev. in a project. Were in it happens to me lately, I participate and do my job as a participant in a project but the dev. didn't pay us. So, in my mind dev.  benefits on us. He earns by himself. What a greedy man.
