41  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bad news for Bitcoin on: June 20, 2018, 03:36:03 PM
In somehow, I believe that a person that has granted and received a novel price is a true genius. However, that doesn't mean that all of the words that will come out to his head is always true and correct. What I believe, a person received the award because of his great work and contribution to the humanity. If what he created is the computation or evaluation of crypto and that piece of work has been awarded by a novel price, then I will definitely sell off all of my bitcoins and altcoins.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: June 20, 2018, 03:04:48 PM
One of the reason behind is the blockchain system is acting like a bank. Although there are several services a bank provide, but the crypto system is overlapping one of the services bank provides. No company would promote other company specially if that will be a treat to their existence. Bank definitely would not like if people are using other currency that they are currently not supporting or in their system. I think bank could promote its usage only if they have their own coin.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the world’s 6th largest currency on: June 19, 2018, 08:14:50 AM
I can't believe that the bitcoin has overtaken some of the major currency in the world. Anyway, there could be a huge chance that the bitcoin could, even more, surpass those other currencies. I hope that the bitcoin could immediately surpass the Chinese yuan. Those Chinese don't even accept dollars and major credit card especially to those southern part of China. However, there could be a huge challenge in China because almost all of the area block website that deals with bitcoin. Ironically, they provide those bitcoin mining machines.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Cryptocurrency on: June 08, 2018, 02:29:54 PM
That is absolutely a good news, specially the people are came from a famous technology country and specially from a higher rank. If it is true, then some of the investment will be diverted into that crypto. It could be a big challenge to them to implement one, since they are also the one who should create a policy and regulation that will lead bitcoin into its properer year. But, next time you will place a news like that, it could be better if you will insert the link of the main or original source to remove the doubt of the people reading your post. Anyway, I wish good luck to those plans.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran bans banks from using cryptocurrencies on: June 08, 2018, 02:03:46 PM
Is this a legitimate news or a fake news? It could be better to include the link of the original source of the news to remove the doubt of the forum users. Since Iran is almost devastated due to the war in the past years, I thing they are still recovering from the wrath. But, it is not far to impose regulation like that since there are more company that is starting their business on that area. However, if the is a legitimate news, it could have no significant effect to the whole bitcoin ecosystem. A small country cannot move a price of a bitcoin due to unwanted policy.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: June 08, 2018, 06:56:48 AM
Is that true? How devastated it is. I can't even endure to lost even one bitcoin, but this man lost hundred of it. I think most of the people around him will bash him to the fullest. I think there is still a solution for that case. If the .dat file is stored in a hard disk then it could recoverable. There are application that could be installed to recover files even the hard disk have been formatted a long time. However, if the problem is he don't even know if it is stored in a hard drive or in a thumb drive. I hope he found it soon. Those are one of the problem if bitcoins are stored in a cold storage or in an independent area.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin? on: June 08, 2018, 04:03:46 AM
I think the best way to show them that bitcoin is not under that illegal activity is to show them the actual activity. Let say showing them a cash and straight bought a bitcoin, then after a week or so, when the price goes up, cash out that bitcoin and show them again the cash with the earnings. People nowadays can easily be encouraged if there is an actual experiment they have seen by themselves. And if they see some earnings, most of the people don't think twice and could easily jump in and join the community.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3000 Bitcoins ATM worldwide !!!! on: June 08, 2018, 02:43:35 AM
That is a hell lot of ATM out there. Do they support AMs and MCs? But I just wondering, is there so many bitcoin or alt holder that is cashing out their possession every day, especially that the price is not performing very well? Anyway, that is a good thing for all, it could leverage the use of crypto. People could be curious about it and eventually be involved in the crypto community.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 countries that banned bitcoin on: June 07, 2018, 05:51:25 PM
Do I am seeing countries that belong to the third world country list? I think they are also included in the corruption list? Well, if that is the government regulation then it has to be followed by its citizen. I am just glad that I am not part of it. But I can't imagine how those people living in that country manage to adopt in the new technological change. They are counterproductive by doing those ban. We all know that there could be a massive scams running around thru crypto but, there are also or even more people who use this opportunity to help their family. I hope those country would think twice.
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: June 07, 2018, 05:32:14 PM
The question is do the bitcoin have its goal? Unlike other coins which have a clear white paper that target a certain goal in a time bound plan. Bitcoin on the other hand have no white paper that is continuously updating its target milestone. So, by that I think bitcoin have reached its goal as a crypto used by people, decentralized and free from government regulations (by now). I think that is also one of Satoshi's main purpose, to develop the system and that's it. Let the people use it for what ever purpose it may seems to fit in them.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in business industry on: June 07, 2018, 05:05:49 PM
I dont get it? are you asking for a company that is established just to focus on bitcoin or alts? If that it is then, there are thousands of those companies. The most famous one are from the trading and crypto wallet company. But if you will just create those company from scratch, I think that could need a lot of job to do. Those company that are starting nowadays that focus on crypto might be caught into the government crytptosweep project. But I think to ensure that you could get it done, you need to have a political companion to help you and support the company.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you mean when you say Bitcoin is number 1 on: June 07, 2018, 04:50:33 PM
By telling it as No. 1, what I mean are several things. First of such is the price. Of course it is hard to be given a rank of number one if the Price of the crypto is way lower than others coins. Specially nowadays, that most of the people talk about the price not the technology it self. The next one could be the Fees. That includes the transaction fee and others, most of the time high transaction fee are one of the complain of crypt users. Least could be the Transaction Speed. It is necessary that a faster transaction speed should be one of the measurement to be the number one.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Blockchain Survive Without Bitcoin on: June 07, 2018, 03:13:25 PM
Blockchain will exist even there is no bitcoin or altcoins. But bitcoin and altcoin cannot exist without the blockchain technology. Blockchain technology powers the public ledger of the crypto coins, it serves as the central managing system to ensure each coin is properly documented, conencted together, cannot be duplicated, the encryption and others. However, I have just tought that if ever the blockchain tech is not around maybe there could be another technology that will work something like that. And the crypto will still be born.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in five years! on: June 07, 2018, 09:14:05 AM
Due to Tim Draper 1 Billion dollars net worth, it is worth to believe that report he says. A great investor will not stake his name just by a gossip or rough estimates. This guy ensures that the words coming out on his mouth is real. We can even see the bitcoin price 5 years ago and by that we could even predict that the price will surely go up and not go down. There could be a tons of issues like government regulations, suctions  or ban. But those will concrete the crypto world and become beneficial to all at the end.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulation of Bitcoin on: June 07, 2018, 07:31:15 AM
The government want almost everything around this world under their control. I am not saying that regulation is bad for the crypto, it is just not the nature of the blockchain technology and the bitcoin to be controlled by a group of people. The regulation could hit and shutdown some of the current startups and business involving crypto but some that are concrete enough and have big man behind could stand strong and face several policies and regulation required by the government. However, at the end of the day, the government have the last say to everything.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can never be be mainstream, because bankers and corporations.... on: June 07, 2018, 05:58:28 AM
I think all opinion is allowed here in the forum. But to gain credibility and turn their head to your opinion, I think you need to include the link that discusses such details. I could agree that the banks are hesitant to embrace the crypto because they will be the first one that could be affected by the revolution you are talking about. However, even though they oppose it if there is a strong willingness of the community. The bank will follow its customers.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto faster & cheaper? on: June 07, 2018, 04:19:12 AM
Nice options, I just wondering why you did not include litecoin, bitcoin forks, and others. Eventually, preferring to only one payment method or crypto is just using only a local fiat money. Let say something like this, in the current financial system, if you are living in the US then you should use USD, and if you are living in China then you will use CNY. It is just the same as in crypto, if you want to have your base money, then that is bitcoin. But if you are engaging in a smart contract, well there is ethereum for you. Different crypto for different kind of transaction needs.
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Patience is all we need on: June 06, 2018, 05:29:48 PM
Actually, it is not very few number of noobs in cryptocurrency business that comprehend the level at which patience is required and important in the business. It may be a cliché, but there is truth behind the line “Patience is the virtue”, especially in business. Running a business is not for the faint of heart, and not for the impatient either. Even if you have a great product or service, great process, and great employees, your business will require you to stay committed for the long-term. I got a few coins couple of weeks back, which I chose to hold while it was plunging however I continue holding with zero dread and just absolute patience. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential like bitcoin and relax even while it’s at dip. Presently, i’m In over 30% profit in all.

Yeah you're right. “Patience is the virtue” -  It is one of the seven virtues but some people prefer one of the seven deadly sins which is "GREED". The latter could be a key to riches which always think of it as a good way. Thus, the cheat code said "greed is good XXXXX". But in this crypto era, no one could have bypass the system. But there are people who want to bypass the steps to riches by doing anything they want even it is a good thing or a bad thing. Anyway, I believe that bitcoin price is always pointing upwards.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree that Bitcoin is nearly to be just like another business? on: June 06, 2018, 05:04:52 PM
In deed it is now a business, it is even a business from long time ago. Imagine those atm machine that are spitting dollar in exchange of bitcoin. The trading platform is a good example of this. Imagine having so many trading platform that sprouted around that having their own advantages and gimmicks just to attract people to jump in and trade with it. One thing that most of the current brick and mortar shop should be done is to ready themselves to accept bitcoin as a payment.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: June 05, 2018, 05:36:28 PM
I with you by that, but not most of the time people use it as an investment. I can't imagine a person who holds a crypto and never ever want to use it. As of now, I think I have used up almost a quarter of my earning in bitcoin. So is that mean I am hoarding and see bitcoin just an investment tool. For some, there could be the only reason why they want bitcoin, but at the long run. I think people will eventually start to use their bitcoin just what they do in fiat.
