1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you feel about revenge? on: January 29, 2018, 07:07:25 PM
I was not born a bad person, but because of all the hardship I had in my life I discovered how sweet revenge feels.
There comes a time when it's too much and you can't take it anymore.
And you dream year after year of undoing the injustice that has been done upon you.
And when the moment comes, it's delicious.
They can see your eyes being cold, but you feel your own heart burning like hot embers.
Revenge seems to be one of the deepest instincts we have. Who hasn't said, "I hope he gets his," or wished that Karma would strike sooner rather than later?  Dirty Harry's "Go ahead, make my day" resonates across generations. Out of control revenge, attack and counterattack, can be blinding and destroy the lives of all involved. But our instincts and emotions usually serve a purpose.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Separation of Church and State on: January 28, 2018, 11:51:18 PM
I was looking through the news and I saw a old news article. This is when the State investigate the leaders of a certain religious group and the members hold a rally in front of the state building, shouting and exclaiming the separation of church and state (Like don't meddle with our problems). But the state has to respond because someone complaint about a crime that have been committed. What are your thoughts about this?
A wall of separation between church and state. This is a very strong statement, very clear in meaning. First of all, it means that the government cannot make laws that favor one religion over any other, because it cannot make laws related to the establishment of a religion or the free expression of religious beliefs. Therefore, individuals can pray in school, but public schools cannot require people to pray. The government cannot endorse any particular religion — meaning there can be no copies of the Ten Commandments in front of schools, nor nativity scenes in government buildings, nor Buddha statues in front of government offices.

Religious leaders and their followers should relish in this wall of separation, rather than trying to knock it down. Why? Because it is there not only to keep religion out of government, but to keep government out of religion. The wall of separation goes both ways; the Establishment Clause protects not only the government from meddling by religious organizations, but protects religious organizations from interference with the practice of their beliefs by government as long as those beliefs do not require actions, like human sacrifice, that break laws not related to religious practice.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Life before and after marriage ??? on: January 28, 2018, 11:41:41 PM
Marriage is such a piece of a sweet one who don't eat want to eat it and those who has eaten are repenting now Wink Grin Grin
What you guys think is life easier before marriage or after the marriage.
Here is the truth. During dating, you will discover how similar you both are and in marriage you will painfully realize that you are both different individuals with different liking. Now marriage is a process with a high barrier to entry and even more higher and painful barrier to exit. So you better consider some of these points before you take the inevitable leap to prove yourself to be an awesome guy.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you try to be conscious about your carbon footprint? on: January 28, 2018, 11:33:37 PM
In the last couple years, I've found myself becoming more and more aware of the waste I was producing. I try to recycle whenever it is feasible. I really like computers and other energy hungry hobbies; for this reason, I'm a huge supporter of green energy adoption. I think that trying to mitigate your energy usage only goes so far before you should really just examine the source of your energy. I also can't wait for electric cars. I drive thousands of miles a year in the Midwestern US and I hate having to do it using fossil fuels.

Do you care about the environment? Is it a daily thought in your mind? What are some aspects of your carbon footprint you have tried to improve?
Air travel is usually the largest component of the carbon footprint of frequent flyers. A single return flight from London to New York – including the complicated effects on the high atmosphere – contributes to almost a quarter of the average person’s annual emissions. The easiest way to make a big difference is to go by train or not take as many flights.
Just be conscious in the way you live.

6  Other / Off-topic / Re: Self-education. on: January 28, 2018, 06:01:35 PM
Is it possible to become a specialist studying by yourself?
Self-education is great! There are thousands, probably millions, of things we can learn throughout our lifetimes without needing to sit in a classroom.

The thing with our society (US) is that we want proof before we let someone open our chest cavities, connect our electrical circuits, cut down our trees, or advise us in investments. Going through a program of training, whatever it may be, provides us with a document that says we were trained to do these things. People want the assurance that the person cutting their hair or decorating their home know’s what she’s doing.
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can Music Actually Change Lives? on: January 28, 2018, 05:53:18 PM
Throughout society, many question if music actually has a strong affect on people or even if it can change peoples lives in general. In my opinion yes, music can change peoples live in a huge way. I seen in many cases where music helps a person stay out of trouble due to peer pressure or even helps them deal with mental, physical, or even emotional abuse they encounter on a daily basis.

My question for you guys is.... Do you believe music can change peoples lives and why? Also if you have been affected by music in any way please feel free to share your story on how it affected you and or change your life.

Thank you 😊
Music affects our emotions. When we listen to sad songs, we tend to feel a decline in mood. When we listen to happy songs, we feel happier. Upbeat songs with energetic riffs and fast-paced rhythms (such as those we hear at sporting events) tend to make us excited and pumped up. It seems that music helps us concentrate and study as well. Out of those studied, 88.5 percent of people said that they listen to music when they study, work on homework, and other activities such as that. That leaves on 11.5 percent of people who don’t. No matter what people listen to, there seems to be a common consensus as to why they listen. It seems that genres that have a fast paced, upbeat, and catchy rhythm (like pop, rap, etc.) are attractive to those who do sports, or at least, those who are looking to get pumped up. Rock also stands to achieve this goal. Most people agree that music just makes them happy. They can ‘get into a mood’ based of the style of the song they’re listening too. I must say that I agree.
8  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Psychological problems due to Crypto. on: January 28, 2018, 05:38:32 PM
It all started while watching a random ad, about the Price of bitcoin. Then I remembered that many years ago my cousin told me to invest in Bitcoin, but I did not listen, I had the loser mindset at the time.
As I read the ad I struggled to stand up. I grew dizzy, almost fainting. I laid in the bed and cried. I cried for several hours, to relieve the pressure inside my head. I am an agnostic but at that night I believed in God, praying to Him (or her) to give me a second chance. And I was hating myself, hating my entire life, of what a lazy worthless fool I was.
It was ironic because at that night, even though I started to believe in God, it was my belief in God which made me no longer believe Determinism. The idea we have "fates" or that our destiny is predestined, is what some religious people claim proves God. But at that moment I realized we live in a cold, hollow universe, and that I had no "fate", nothing I did in my life was meant to happen. All of my life was meaningless, because of my choices I am simply in a bad world, and that our world is bad because of everyone else's choices. All of us have to make a choice and that doesn't mean our choices will lead to a good or predestined outcome, there is no regulator of our choices and sometimes we receive fates that are not part of some "grand plan" to get us all to Heaven.

So at that time I made a resolution never to be a sop again, that I would get my life on track and start heavily investing and obsessing over money. However now that I am in the cryptogame I have noticed my sanity taking a steady turn for the worst.

I can no longer enjoy videogames, or watching movies, anything that doesn't have to do with making money feels like a waste of time. I view human beings as sheep and children, who don't understand the most important thing is to make money. I work over 12 hours a day doing nothing but related to money.

It is a bit like that Whataboutbob movie, where I start out as a sane and wise psychiatrist, while I steadily go down a road of insanity compared to those around me. That is what it feels like. It feels like nothing I do is ever enough. It feels like I can never catch up to the train.  It feels like there are 20 or more trains around me, and the moment I try to board one train I realize I missed another. And I try to research but I realize every minute I spend on research I am losing money investing in another coin.
And although the trolls have told me a couple good coins, I feel like it is not enough. Because I feel like Oscar Shindler saying "I could have saved more." I keep thinking that I could have invested in the crypto game a few months earlier and that I would be rich. Now I am getting paranoid there is no more hope in crypto, with all these BS government regulations I wonder if there will ever even be a future for crypto or will it be banned altogether, the moment I get in. I wonder if my consciousness is the same as everyone else, and that I am not special, because I am linked to everyone else's consciousness and now everybody's trying to get in, not just me, and maybe because I am not special I am a worthless person.

And then I think about how I spent $300 on shitcoins, hoping I will be a millionaire and waiting for the coins to take off, but nothing happening and dev's being behind schedule. And this stresses me out to no end, I just sit and look at these coins and there aren't even buyers of these coins so I can't get my money back. And then I think about all the coins that I did buy, but only bought $100 or $50 of each, and I watch powerlessly locked to my chair as they are mooning. I feel like Oscar Schindler where "I could have saved more, I could have saved more". I think about all the junk I bought in my lifetime that I never use, that I could have put towards crypto. I think about all the coins I don't know about, that are mooning and I will miss out on the profits until it is too late. I think about all the endless hours of research still not being enough, I think about all the times I ignored my psychic powers and gut instinct and lost out on money, I think about taking out money from the coins I believed in, just to put them into other good coins and balance out the risk, even though I believed in both coins. I think about how my IRA is stuck and they wont allow me to cash it and put into crypto. It is all so stressful for me and even though I am not losing money, I feel so terrible and paranoid because I know I am losing out on future riches. I have only put $1500 into crypto but I know I could put so much more, if I just had a decent job which I don't.
And then there's all these free airdrops, there are so many I can't even track them all, and they make you go through so much effort to sign up, sometimes I get paranoid and say "Will they correctly register me as an airdrop? Or will they not like my facebook because I don't have many friends, or will they not like my twitter because I don't have many followers. Will all the airdrops go through? Will I catch all the airdrops before they expire?" And the fact I already have successful airdrops is not enough. For instance, one airdrop I was late to and so I only got 1 coin, when everyone else got 100 coins. And it keeps looping in my mind, had I only been a week faster I could have got 100 coins which=$500. And the more I think about it the more sick I become.
It feels like chasing and chasing, a bunch of trains I can never catch, I see posts where people have $10,000 savings to invest, meanwhile my IRAs are locked up and I can't invest, makes me lose my mind. My thoughts are racing and I dream of crypto. But it's still not enough. I never have enough time to research or sign up for all the free airdrops. I get paranoid my friends won't support my referals to the airdrops either. And even though I have invested in several coins which are mooning, I feel like I did not invest enough. And then I think about all the failed coins I bought, which I could have put more into the mooning coins, and I say why did I not simply do this, makes me lose my mind into a downward spiral. Some days I go to bed and I say, man life sucks, I am broke, have no car, live in a trailer, only way people will like me if I am rich, only way I will enjoy a utopia is if I am rich, but it is so much work to be rich, it would be easier if I just was never born.

Basically, this movie started me on my steady descent towards insanity.

One of the most stressful parts of high-risk trading is the oscillating emotions. For instance, there is evidence that “decision-makers in a happy mood have higher levels of financial risk tolerance, holding bio-psychosocial and environmental factors constant,” But those emotional peaks can be followed by deep troughs, particularly when considering a relatively new product whose value may whiplash. There’s also financial FOMO (“fear of missing out,” for the non-millennials) and the hindsight effect of selling too early or too soon. With a digital currency like bitcoin, there’s also the added risk of potential hacks that can wipe out billions in value.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What should be done to eliminate corruption? on: January 28, 2018, 05:27:48 PM
I wonder what people think about this. What is your opinion? What should be done for this?
Subsidies, tax exemptions, public procurement of goods and services, soft credits, extra-budgetary funds under the control of politicians—all are elements of the various ways in which governments manage public resources. Governments collect taxes, tap the capital markets to raise money, receive foreign aid and develop mechanisms to allocate these resources to satisfy a multiplicity of needs. Some countries do this in ways that are relatively transparent and make efforts to ensure that resources will be used in the public interest. The more open and transparent the process, the less opportunity it will provide for malfeasance and abuse. Collier (2007) provides persuasive evidence on the negative impact of ineffective systems of budget control. Countries where citizens are able to scrutinize government activities and debate the merits of various public policies also makes a difference. In this respect, press freedoms and levels of literacy will, likewise, shape in important ways the context for reforms. Whether the country has an active civil society, with a culture of participation could be an important ingredient supporting various strategies aimed at reducing corruption.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does Aliens exist? on: January 28, 2018, 05:19:10 PM
I know this is crazy base on what people post at the Internet now a days.

•Do you actually believe in aliens?

Basing on people's posted video I would say yes what do you think guys? I hope I am not just the one who believes in aliens.
This debate deals with one of humankind’s most fundamental questions: Is there alien life?
The certainty that earthlings are not alone in the universe would have a tremendous impact on human self-perception and would permanently alter our understanding of the universe. Although there has not yet been found concrete evidence for alien life, considering the boundless size of the universe, it seems unlikely that Earth is the only planet on which life could develop.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should I donate to charity? on: January 28, 2018, 05:09:35 PM
Guys, a lot of us make money on trading and sometimes there's an excess that you don't need. Do you think it's a good idea to donate part of the profits to charity? Whom would you suggest helping first?
My charitable habits are modest. I give a small amount to two organisations each month, and almost never make one-off donations. I have never been the type to raise money via feats of physical prowess. I once abseiled down a castle wall as part of a school charity event, but since I’d neglected to find any sponsors at all, no one was any better off for my vertigo.
One reason, I think, is that I feel a bit uncomfortable giving money away. That’s convenient, I hear you say. But it’s true: I suspect my motives. I reckon that I’m only really doing it to feel good about myself, and that makes me uneasy. But if the price of my purity is that good causes miss out, maybe I should just get over it?
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: January 23, 2018, 10:37:05 PM
Technology is not always a good thing.

One example is with the children.
In the old days, children used to play outside with their friends.
Now majority of them are just staring at their iPads.

Technology has made it convenient to keep our children occupied while we tend to our everyday tasks. While children seem entertained using devices such as tablets, television, cell phones, and computers, many studies show that these devices may have negative effects.
Overuse of electronic devices may cause impairment in the development of a child’s social skills. This includes the ability to make friends in person, take responsibility for actions, display good manners, use polite language, control emotions and temper, follow verbal directions, and develop empathy for others.
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does ages really matter in relationships? on: January 23, 2018, 08:29:48 PM
Age signifies so much more than just a number: it can reflect your maturity, your stage in life, and your experience.  At the same time, age can be deceptive.Does  it matter if men date younger women? If so, how much of an age gap is an acceptable one?
A strong emotional connection is an important factor in a relationship but emotional maturity often has little to do with how many years you’ve been alive – more on what has happened to you during those years and how you have dealt with it. A 20 year old woman might find a 40 year old man is much better suited to her than a man her own age because they might be at the same life stage – ready to settle down and start a family, for example, while a 20 year old man might not be ready for that commitment.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: January 23, 2018, 06:49:59 PM
Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?
i think that because the value of Bitcoin fluctuates so regularly, its risk factor is very high. Bitcoin has been compared to a classic market bubble chart, 75 Currency Research would argue that it is not suitable as a stored value cash replacement, but perhaps should rather be approached as a casino-style “gamble.” Bitcoin is not money in and of itself. The bitcoin price is essentially the price of transferring already existent fiat currency or, in another sense, it is simply a non-binding “claim” to standard money. Since the value of bitcoins are not in their usage as standard money but in their usage in transactions, bitcoins are only as good as the fiat currencies in which they can be sold.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate a person to work? on: January 22, 2018, 08:57:16 PM
What do you think?Motivate is really motives our mind.Another thing, when you’re inspiring people, you’re not telling them exactly what to do or giving them precise directions. You’re empowering them to be their best, trusting that they will then do the right thing. And the right thing they do may not be what you were expecting; it may be something beyond your wildest expectations.

To motivate a person, I think you need to appeal to their emotions. Fear focuses people’s attention and can be an effective motivator. (“If we don’t get this done right now, we’ll all lose our jobs.”) But if you keep resorting to fear, you’ll end up de-motivating people. People are also motivated by-and prefer to be motivated by-positive emotions like excitement, pride, a sense of belonging, and the thrill of achievement.
If you set a good example, you'll become a leader and people will like to follow. It's the same as rising a child I guess
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Supporting the idea of Euthanasia on: January 22, 2018, 08:03:37 PM
Will you all approve the usage of Euthanasia in your countries of worldwide either by personal or whatsoever reason?

Everyone who is against euthanasia is doing so based on their religion. Pushing their beliefs onto another person. Euthanasia may not be the choice a patient would make, and it may not even be one that a patient would consider, however it should at least be an option they have. Those who are against euthanasia have every right to suffer through their disease, but just because your religion says it is wrong doesn't make it wrong to others.
Similar to abortion, I think every human has the right to decide on their own life.
