1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sometimes late bounties can still pay rewards on: August 18, 2020, 04:49:29 AM
Indeed late bounties can still pay rewards, but based on my experience, there are many bounty campaigns haven't paid their participants.
The most important thing from bounty campaign is first we must know 100% that they will pay us and when they will pay.
without that, we should avoid this kind of bounty campaign.
I agree with you that it's a rare thing that late bounties will pay. However, I don't understand why you say we must know 100% they will pay us. There's no way for us to make sure that they will pay the reward 100%. That's one of the characteristics of doing bounty hunting, there is always a risk even a small rate. Therefore, the best we can do is to do our researches to reduce the risk of not getting paid, we can't guarantee anything!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New normal world will make crypto better on: August 18, 2020, 04:42:06 AM
I hope this virus outbreak will end soon and the whole world will recover as before and the economy will progress and develop so that it will have a good impact on crypto as shown by the market experiencing an increase
Yeah! Everyone is expecting good things to happen. We have been through a difficult year and no one wants any more bad things. Even in the middle of the pandemic the cryptocurrency market still remain good, though, it would be better if the pandemic can be ended! I think once the world is normal again, people will crave to work, save and invest which can benefit this market!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone waiting for v2.0 but... on: August 18, 2020, 04:16:35 AM
Every project sustainability is very much dependent on how their platform performs it is just right for the development team of Ethereum to delay launching if they think there are still bugs nobody should pressure Ethereum, the developer team knows that there are a lot of competitors and they want to make sure that things will go smoothly when they launch still enough time for investors to buy more Ethereum for preparation for the coming POS feature.
I agree with your opinion. I think the most important reason why the ETH developers team still hold the project is that they want to make sure everything goes right. ETH 2.0 is an important event for Ethereum particularly and for other projects generally. It carries such a great effect to the market, though, it's better be perfect when it launched!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can enjoy crypto currency on: August 17, 2020, 05:55:45 AM
With a lot of funds, can we dominate the market price? In the world of trading, risk management is the key. having a lot of funds or small funds we will not be able to become millionaires in one night without risk management.
That's true! Not only risk management but also proper knowledge about this cryptocurrency market. I think the most important thing people need to have if they want to be successful in this market is that they need to learn fundamental and proper knowledge, skills, techniques to use in this market. Without having any of those, they can't be successful even they have a lot of money to invest. Risks exist!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: August 17, 2020, 05:50:22 AM
Sure, Infact currently cryptocurrency is more valuable than gold, with the way new project keeps surfacing everyday, it is sure very soon cryptocurrency will be much more valuable than gold.
Crypto offers various things while gold is offering the store of value and it can be used as a commodity too. I think that crypto is already more valuable rather than gold. In the future, crypto will become the main replacement for gold to be considered as a digital commodity that offered various advantages to the holders.
I would not say all of the cryptocurrencies are more valuable than gold, but some of them do! I would say cryptocurrencies have more applications than gold, it can offer real solutions for real issues, a store of value, or a medium of exchange. Cryptocurrencies are doing very good in role of a store of value and medium of exchange. Some cryptocurrencies are based on projects that offers real applications. In my opinion, I choose to invest in cryptocurrency rather than gold since cryptocurrency has more ability and potential!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening with Bitcoin & altcoins? on: August 17, 2020, 05:40:51 AM
Bitcoin and altcoins are growing in price at the same time, as we see, and many investors who bought bitcoin last year for 5k$ and Ethereum for 70-80$ can already sell their cryptocurrencies and get excellent profit, but I think that the growth will continue and we still need to wait.
Those major coins have big community and long term roadmap. There will be more and more innovations will be bringing out by them for us. We just waiting for that to happen in the future. Everything needs a process and it can't be done just in a night, a week or even a month.

Crypto has a very big vision for long term development.

That's true! Consider this current market condition, it is profitable for people who want to sell BTC and ETH right now. However, the decision depends on each person's goal! Some people want to achieve a higher profit target, so they still wait. Personally, I think BTC and ETH will keep fluctuating around this market and gain a little bit, then, will pump strongly next year after the launch of ETH 2.0!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: August 17, 2020, 05:35:33 AM
i don't think they kill the project. the bounties and airdrops help the project a lot. imagine that the project without the bounties, the world won't know about the project. if the token/coins prices dump, i think it's because the projects run by some amateurs team member. the projects will die if the team abandoned their project and do not create the product properly.
it doesn't kill the project, but on the contrary, it can even help a project grow. There are a lot of things that make them think that because once the bounty and airdrop have been distributed, the prices suddenly dump. even though this can be prevented by paying participants using stable coins. other than that, only weak projects were damaged by the programs they created themselves.
I agree with you! Nothing can have too many negative effects on a particular project rather than itself! A weak project simply doesn't have any ability to survive despite the fact that bounty hunters dump the token or not! Furthermore, the allocation of tokens that used to reward bounty hunters is a small amount of total supply, how could it has such a huge effect?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: August 13, 2020, 09:15:47 AM
investors also experience the impact due to covid -19, not all people who have a lot of money become investors, but there are also some ordinary people, if they are more concerned with the need to continue their life than investing in a project that cannot necessarily produce something tangible This choice is right in my opinion. As for any project that was successful during a pandemic, it was clear that the project was supported by a strong team with solid planning.
My thought is the same as well! There are a lot of people who don't even have a choice! They have to find something to invest in order to earn some money. That's why a lot of projects still runs in the pandemic. In my opinion, those people are brave and smart also. Not only projects in the pandemic but also all other projects, those which are successful have to have a strong team with solid plan! Withouth having a strong team and solid plan, a project will not have the initial power to develop!
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest cryptocurrency wallets on: August 13, 2020, 09:07:23 AM
I agree that buying a ledger or a trezor would be the best way to keep your coins safe, we are talking about the cutting edge technology that would be the highest end of security, if you think that could be hacked that means everything else could be hacked as well. However I have been using blockchain.com for years now (blockchain.info if you remember it) and I could tell you that they are as legit as it gets as well, I haven't had any troubles with them for the past 8 years and I do not think I will start now.

Not saying they are the safest but they are safe enough that unless you have huge amount of money there to worth the hack, people will not really try to hack you since it is too hard and if you want to achieve something so hard as hacking it, you would want a lot of money, not couple thousand dollars.
You're right! Every method of storing has risks. Therefore, there is no safest way to store our money. There is several methods, though, I think it's suitable for each different person with different intentions. I prefer using blockchain wallet. I'm aware that it can be hacked, though, I think the same as you. Hackers will not target in something that too small. Furthermore, I don't have the habit to store my money in one place for too long!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: August 12, 2020, 10:05:44 AM
If name matters in any other thing we do in real life, it should also matter in crypto. There is something in a name. It is because of this I choose bounties and campaigns I promote. For instance you can not catch me promoting any project that is named or styled after the Devil or demon. I look beyond the name thing but the name has to be right to catch my attention first with. Otherwise I do not promote it.
LOL, that's a good point dude! Even though I don't take the name too seriously, I still care about them. A project with a name that is easy to remember will more likely to have more attractions for people. I think many investors look at the name when they explore any project. However, if a project is actually good, I think the name does not matter anymore!
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: August 12, 2020, 09:50:17 AM
Dumping my coins if I see the trend in the market is dumping, investors will not dump if they did not see something wrong on the project, the developers could be out or the roadmap is not happening or people find out that the platform is none existence worse thing that you could happen is if you did not dump at the right time.
This is what I think! I will dump my coin if I see there is anything wrong. Investing is not easy, doing good researches help us to filter good projects to invest. However, it can't guarantee for the long-way. Instead, we have to follow along the team and their updates to know whether they're leading the projects in the right way or not. If I have any doubt and others think the same, I will dump my coins immediately to reduce the risk!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So every dead project that adding "DeFi" to its name, pumping 100000% ? on: August 12, 2020, 09:44:19 AM
The fastest way for scammers to make money in crypto space was ICO and now that ICO is no more they will use any means necessary to get their job done, and now that DeFi projects are becoming successful scammers will definitely use them

Scammers find ways to join the ride, what do we expect even dead project like what OP said will attach and use
DeFi for them to trick investors, and now the hypes is really being followed by traders, it's now the hyped around
this market.
I have to admit that scammers are very smart in finding a new method to trick people. You're right that they took advantage of ICO projects to scam people in the past and now they're about to use DeFi projects. It's true that every hype appears in this market will contain a risk of scammers. Scammers always follow the hype so well that we have to be aware of them.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: August 12, 2020, 09:39:49 AM
.a few things to think about are investors and bounty hunters who immediately sell their tokens when the project is listed in a market.

I agree with you that investors and bounty hunters play a negative role in the success of the project, especially the bounty hunter, because they sell the tokens that they obtained for free as soon as it is listed on the exchanges, and this leads to the token losing its value due to the large sales orders that get from these, so I think the project team have To prevent them from selling the tokens immediately, by freezing this tokens, for example, or delaying their listing in exchanges.
I have to disagree with you at this point. Bounty hunters don't have the power to change anything. The reason is that the allocation of tokens that used to reward bounty hunters is just a small amount of total supply. How can it affects the whole project? Some projects don't run well then they use bounty hunters as a bullet shield which receives all the blame. Furthermore, bounty hunters work to get paid, then they have the right to decide what to do with their tokens (assets), how can you have the right to affect their decisions?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you use a paper wallet to store your CryptoCurrencies? on: August 10, 2020, 06:41:56 AM
I just want to know what people think about them.  Do they use paper wallets now?  I'll bet the majority of people do not.  I think they use wallets on mobile devices primarily or exchanges.  I could be wrong.
It might because when creating a paper wallet is a very crucial thing, there's a step on how to create a paper wallet in a safe way. If you don't know how to create this paper wallet it might wipe out all your Bitcoin stored. Some reason, Bitcoin holders prefer to use hardware wallets like Trezor and Ledger because this is ready to use and store all your crypto.

Yes, I still use the Bitcoin wallet on the device and that custodial wallet but there is no problem if you don't store for long term purposes. I think it is also good if you include how to create a pepper wallet. See this reference, it has a good content. https://news.bitcoin.com/how-to-set-up-bitcoin-paper-wallet/.
You're right. If we don't know for sure how to create and secure our paper wallet, it can be a great risk! Therefore, majority of traders choose to use mobile wallets or exchanges. The reason is that this method has a higher security than paper wallet, even though it still has the risk of being hacked (which is not likely to happen). However, I think the risk is not high if we don't intend to store our capital for too long!
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: August 10, 2020, 06:35:43 AM
Only a few altcoins have the potential other than Bitcoin. So yes, not all the posts you have read are completely wrong. Just spend some time to research and you will see.
Yes, because everyone has their own thoughts in making posts, so we also can't immediately believe the posts they make, so I totally agree that someone should take the time to research the truth of the potential of all Altcoins apart from Bitcoin.
That's always the way investors do it! Investing in something is not simply looking at other words and follow them. Of course, each person will have each different judgment about a particular project, some believe some don't. Therefore, those posts like this is a good way for us to know which coins to consider. Though, we still have to do our own researches to decide which coins to invest.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your favourite coin and token ? on: August 10, 2020, 06:25:02 AM
Me ethereum all the way. I will trade any coins for this as I believe that they can be more valuable in the future. For some new projects I rarely trust new projects, and I always sell them for eth. Ive been using them for short term trading and just accumulate eth everytime.

New projects can pump easily as they hype investors and traders. But if you think for long term, best bet on great coins that survive the long term already. I also like bitcoin but I think eth has greater chance to increase more.
That's right. I'll convert any coins to ETH for holding. The reason is that as we all can see, ETH is increasing its value overtime. We all expect that ETH can gain four figue value sooner or later. You're right that other altcoins can have the potential to pump greatly, though, my favorite coin is always ETH for sure. ETH has been around the market long enough to prove its position, there's literally no doubt to trust!
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trx or Eth ? on: August 10, 2020, 05:59:25 AM
Both of them have a lot of dapps and they could both go to the sky.
Vitalik and Justin work hard to make their coins better too so i am not sure which one could be better in the future. What do You think about this ?

Both coins are competitive but when it comes to support and community Ethereum is miles ahead they are the one who started the smart contract thing and they are the leading platform in token creation and once the staking features is released they will cemented their statue as the best smart contract maker in Cryptocurrency.
I agree! They are competitive with each other, though, ETH has been proving that it is one of the biggest and trusted coins in the field. The community is too familiar with ETH. I can say not only in compared with Trx but also in compared with all other altcoins, not a single coin can beat the reputation of ETH. You're right that ETH will dominate when they release ETH 2.0!
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: August 05, 2020, 05:56:29 AM
I do not look at the ranking when someone participant announces the project on the Bitcointalk forum.  projects that steal the public's attention are projects with the latest innovations in cryptocurrency where the concepts that are brought are still unfamiliar in cryptocurrency.
it's just that the rating also looks quite promising. we know that a legendary will surely try to maintain his reputation. so, I don't think they will play around with the projects they bring, and also do research, and give certain conditions to the project owner before running the bounty. well, actually it has a greater interest.
Well, I'll say I will consider a project announced by a legendary member. You just think the same as me, a legendary will try to maintain his or her reputation throughout the market. Their ranking can be a guarantee that they are not kidding with those projects that they bring to us. However, shit happens so we have to always keep an eye on and do our own researches!
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: August 05, 2020, 05:45:53 AM
There are no quick returns in crypto unless you find hype projects because they will pump and dump quickly but that is too risky. it's better to keep investing in top altcoins so that you don't regret it in the past
This is so true! The market right now is not like the market back in 2017 when every single coin pumps. Therefore, it's harder to earn instant profits in the cryptocurrency market. First of all, you should invest your TIME to UNDERSTAND the market first, learn proper knowledge and skills also. Then, you can start investing in the top coins such as BTC and ETH (which are increasing). Do not invest in any new project when you don't have enough experience!
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can ICOs come back in the game? on: August 05, 2020, 05:30:10 AM

Why still support something that harms investors and there is already alternative that can be used to do crowdfunding, we don't need regulations in ICO when IEO is fully set up to serve the needs of both investors and bounty hunters, it will take a good project with those behind it with good character for a project to do ICO but it's going to be a hard climb for that project.
I totally agree! Why we still want something that are not beneficial for us? Developers can still be interested in ICO projects, though, investors are no more interested in that kind of projects. IEO is way better than ICO, it serves both parties. I think ICO still can exist in the field, however, it will no more be a choice for me and many investors!
