I think that at this moments, bitcointalk can do more for zetacoin than "zetacoin.cc". probably many people will forget the coin, bitcointalk is moving a lot of people now...
It is unlikely that you will 'forget the coin' unless you don't read the news  Zetacoin is looking for a more mainstream type of community with a gender balance and respectful members. I don't see a lot of that going on around here and it's certainly not moderated in any way shape or form. |

It seems this coin was starting to take off again, but then not sure what happened to the enthusiasm. It definitely, needs a DEV and a hard fork to take control of the source code again. I'd also suggest a name change because ASIC isn't really relevant except to this small community, but first you need a real purpose for this coin. Time to put those thinking caps on.
Ideal time is now whilst there isn't much interest in the coin. Obviously there is still plenty of mining going on and 675 million is certainly a reasonable number to work with.

If Bitcoinsachs is truly responsible for all the crap listed in that anonymous article he should do as advised and fess up, come clean. Personally I couldn't care less about the guy or his pumping. All this recent noise does nothing to sway my opinion of ZET, I've mined, traded, and still hold it long term. It' s a fun, fast, and solid coin, imo. I do agree with the below paragraph from that post: "Some netizens are so worried about the future of Zetacoin because of your history, they have already written it off. Just be patient, these things take time, especially in Africa. Just hang on to your ZET  Agreed  People still seem to think that you rub two sticks together and produce something that the world has never enjoyed before. Development takes time. Big development takes more time. If nothing was mentioned leading up to this news and all of a sudden the biggest secret was released to the press, you'd all cry that you didn't have time to buy when it was cheap. When you get a little teaser as a hint that you should be accumulating ZET, you cry that the news is never coming. Thanks Honest Tim for showing us that we still have greedy people about. Ehh, good think this wallet is smaller now :p I'm not sure how to fully read the coinplorer, but it looks like some more splitting of this wallet has occurred. Hey at this stage a cheaper coin is much more attractive anyway. Maybe someone with a bit more experience can investigate the dissolving wallet. |

This coin is going to crash like hell, so far it has a mobile app. They say they are working on a processor but no proof or updates on this.
If you look at Worldcoin, the android wallet has been funded and there's a payment API in the works, an exchange being developed, there's a crowdfunding site and there's a team of 10+ yet Zetacoin is double the price, has empty social feeds and barely and services that accept it. It's a time bomb waiting to happen and I'm staying far far away from the empty promises.
The zetacoin wallet was funded in jan, and it took sometime to produce but we got there in the end. A payment processor is closer than you think and SimplyCrypto.com is an exchange worth watching out for. Merchandise will follow, and then we ramp up. ZBAD has always suggested that the infrastructure comes first, the next stage will then be so much easier. Zetacoin is double the price because we actually have a vision for the coin. Good luck trying to get people to sell zetacoin before any formal announcement is released. |

It's likely that when the formal announcement comes out, people will cash out of BlackCoin and then jump straight back into Zetacoin. Hopefully, bringing their sweet profits with them |

But we are forgetting the biggest equation of all How much did someone SPEND to get 55 million ZET in the first place? Either someone with money already or someone with a lot of mining power, either way I don't think they are hard up for cash to create a P&D and instead is a serious long-term investor. Or its an exchange wallet, which is my personal belief. I love this speculation on the big bag holder, if someone bought into it would have taken months as large purchases would have increased price dramatically. Mining that amount would have also taken months, due to the rapidly increasing difficulty. There was no premine so it has to be a collection of a number of owners. Ie. An exchange Should we all simultaneously take our coins out of cryptsy to see what happens? |

Yes, I'm committed to Zetacoin  Until the cryto community understand how marketing works we are all doomed. Ever wondered why KFC, McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut all operate on the same corners? It's because regardless of the potential competion they all benefit from people be in the same area. Sure only one gets the sale, but maybe next time it's them. You certainly don't see people hanging around outside holding signs bagging the other stores. That would be bad for there profile. Crypto is no different. |

These are my quotes, I've bought and sold Zetacoin lately because it's easy to make some gains right now on this coin... But any profits I'm using to buy more Quark and Mintcoin. It's easier to see how these coins offer potential and innovation as Bitcoin alternatives. It's also easier to see on reddit and on this forum how the community is participating in the building of these coins. These are my picks but you might have others, that's fine.
Again though if you could explain why the price has risen so suddenly for Zetacoin based on some 'rumours' then people wouldn't be suspicious that this is some dirty trick being played out.
Everyone has their own ideas about which coin has value. Thanks for trading in Zetacoin and I'm glad you made some profits. Unfortunately, your alt coins are stifled by the reddit and bitcointalk dome. It's easy to lose perspective on how little the other 7+ billion people in world perceive your favoured coins. Obviously you aren't aware that ZBAD is working outside of these walls and are looking for real adoption by real people. That's perhaps why the hype updates haven't been as frequent as you are use to in these arenas. Zetacoin has all of the earmarks of a concerted plan to increase the price-per-coin while leaving people who don’t know better holding the bag. If you buy too much too fast people are going to notice that there is manipulation at play. Start building a hype machine via your blog, pull people in on Twitter who can push your penny-stock. Just check the #Zetacoin hashtag for an unending stream of non-fact on twitter Some choice selections: “When people eventually start to dig into what the #Zetacoin community has done they are not going to believe it.” “#ZBAD’s motto of #BuyHoldBuild is starting to make sense to everyone else. The thing that is nice about talking about community is that you don’t have to back it up with anything. You don’t have to say where or how Zetacoin is different from anyone else. You don’t have to point to real world examples of use. In fact, you can pretty much manufacture a community of users overnight. Let’s take a look at the Zetacoin “community”. Zeta-coin.org has a News section with 2 bullet points since 2013. Not seeming very active to me. Twitter 6445 followers. That seems pretty sizable. The thing is you can buy a few hundred twitter followers for a few bucks, so difficult to tell if that is real community or not. There seem to be only a few very active in the PUMP. Zetacoin themselves say that over 500k has been traded in 24 hours! The vast majority being sold as the PUMPER takes the profit. Github Has almost no changes since it was forked from Bitcoin. For a developer community working on something game changing this is also a red flag. Forum. The Zeta-coin forum has less than 100 total posts on it. OK, what about Reddit Ah. A very little going on, but 157 active readers!… 4 – Be anonymous. Beware when people don’t put their real name on a project, it says a lot about it when the creators are basically unknown. Remember, you have to avoid legal liability later. If there isn’t a name associated with the coin, someone who has something to lose if it goes belly up, buyer beware. 5 – Promise something big in the future. The main proponents talk a big game, that is all part of the hype machine. Examples: “His project was a complete and utter GAME CHANGER.” “Within 4 days Zetacoin was the hottest crypto in the community. Within 5 days the twitter feed was running red hot with Zetacoin talk.” “Most of you have figured out that there is something big, and that there is a third party involved.” “We have an opportunity to walk the talk that the community keeps mouthing.” This is called bullshit. Unadulterated, useless drivel. Just look at the charts. Read the block chain. At the end of the day there is no news that should result in a 700% increase overnight.
