Looks like everyone is angry towards Antony. why wouldn’t they be? This dude thinks he is Cristiano Ronaldo. Has an ego like Burj Khalifa. Meanwhile, he has not been able to score a single goal this season. This guy only has one assist and four red cards in his name and let’s not forget that this is not the stats of a defender, this is the stats of an attacking player.

Four red cards? you probably mean 4 yellow cards but thats only if you count his statistic on EPL. He scored 2 goals and 1 assist on FA Cup though and yeah thats not really impressive for someone that was signed for that insane amount. Pretty sure he would be loaned away next season, he is barely useful for the club this season so there is really no reason to keep him

Fun facts, so far he had only scored only 10 goals of all games that he played including local cup, UCL and UEL ever since he was signed on 2022.

Those odds are good. Definitely something that has a lot of value in the first day. BB is a strong team but I doubt they can handle Falcons when they gained momentum and held on to it until the end game.

Well turned out that Sumail was playing as stand-in for Falcons but overall it was still good until Falcons started throwing up the game with 7k gold lead by dying one by one until they typed in GG on the 2nd map. I totally cant believe it, I thought it would be a solid 2-0 for Falcons even with Sumail playing as stand-in. Anyway now I kinda understand why Nigma keep losing though, Sumail as pos 2 is definitely not a top tier player anymore and I totally can say this with certainty after watching him play with Falcons today compared to Malr1ine

63  Economy / Economics / Re: Food shortages coming to the United Kingdom, BUT - on: April 22, 2024, 05:43:14 PM
This sort of situation is inflationary, and if inflation doesn't go down, then something will need to break for it to be forced to go down. That indicates a recession, OR if there's too much money in circulation it's going to be worse. Stagflation.

Food crisis has been happening all around the world since like 4-5 years ago and some countries sort it out by importing it from another countries. Obviously this is due to the stupid regulations from most government to increase tax or cut off subsidies for agricultural sector. As a matter of facts, some of these imports are even cheaper compared to the farmers product so goverment wouldnt really care less about this situation

Probably wouldnt turn into any major economic issue for the country but obviously the situation could be worse

Man i feel robbed hahah..

Real Madrid literally robbed me from my 3 points. If only Barcelona could hold that for few more minutes then I would have gotten 3 points, oh well atleast I didnt lose the round I guess. Picked 2 less favourites team to hold last week, both Barcelona and Chelski ended up dissapointing for real.

The rewards for the Cup will be:

1st place - 8 mBTC
2nd place - 4 mBTC
3rd place - 2 mBTC + 50$ freebet
4th place - 2 mBTC
5th - 8th place - 50$ freebet

Extra $500 for the top place huh, this gotta be my motivation to survive the first 2 qualifying rounds !

Anyone betting on ESL One Birmingham tomorrow?

Its been a while since we have an offline tournament for dota2 but I doubt the group stage will start on stage immediately but its Falcons tomorrow for the opening game so it would be so weird not to bet on them when they are so dominant. Except for the fact that they lost to XG on The Elite League final  Roll Eyes but still they have been pretty good so far on the previous tournaments

66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: April 21, 2024, 06:17:26 PM

Qualifying round draw:
Match #4
   arallmuus
   slaman29

@slaman29 great we play against each other again that mean I can get my revenge after losing last week  Tongue. I guess no breaks for my team, we are going full throttle for the cup !

@dbshck : down to the very last question huh despite that we had 10 different answers between us. I'll need Barcelona not to lose tonight or else Im screwed ! Real Madrid is obviously the favourites on this game but Barcelona got nothing left except LaLiga after they lost in UCL so they could be going all out tonight
67  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: April 20, 2024, 05:44:16 PM
please, The a'swers of Man City vs Chelsea  quistion?!
Chelsea to qulify or loss.......?!

Im not sure whats your question is but currently its 70th and the score is still 0-0. Best of luck to us that choose Chelsea to qualify or lose in penalty

Anyway Tsitsipas delivered most of the pool's expectation so its another classic Tsitsipas - Ruud final like last week. Tsitsipas should be able to win this one given that the surface is clay. It would be epic if he win another one here after winning last week
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 20, 2024, 03:13:19 PM
Arsenal only lost to Aston Villa in the league.

That lost could be causing them to lose the title. You know what really frustate me last week? watching both Arsenal and Liverpool lost when theya re already ahead of City in terms of points but now they gotta trail back hoping that City lose atleast one of their last 6 fixtures. EPL is extremely boring right now with City keep dominating the space, we really need a new club to win this year though and Im hoping it would be Arsenal

Most of the referees do it just during the weekends. They have jobs and these are like side gigs for them.

I seriously cannot understand that refereeing isn't fully professional, the leagues have billions of revenue and the players cost 100 mil each, but onfield decisions are being made by hairdressers, police officers and constructors on normal salaries.

Holy freak, this is new to me as I didnt know that being referee is just side gigs. I thought it would be a full time job whatsoever because you gotta maintain your stamina especially to keep up for full 90 minutes. Ikr they are not being paid that much compared to a football player but it never cross my mind that this are just side gigs lol

They get it wrong? No shit, Sherlock. Not defending them, they are shit (especially in England, where they actually earn a lot from it) but the blame is on the league as well.
Refereeing needs to be a full-time job, won't get any better before that.

I guess there isnt that much consequences if they get things wrong eh unless it totally ruin the game on a specific team
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: April 19, 2024, 07:07:55 PM
Indeed. I didn't think he would have that many issues during the game as clay is his best surface, isn't it?

Yeah statistically he won 4 titles on clay and the last one was a week ago but the thing with Tsitsipas is that, he is quite unpredictable. I almost thought he would lose tonight though after losing the first set but it was still pretty close game for my taste

Important one for my match with jayce as he took the risk and picked Nadal

He really loves it when Nadal is playing, what an old boomer  Tongue

3 questions will be graded tomorrow and alot of rounds are going to be settled by tomorrow I guess
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: April 19, 2024, 06:05:01 PM
As for the specials, steve has addressed this and it will not be available in certain regions unfortunately.
There is something new called jackpots on the tab to the left which looks somewhat interesting.

I see so which regions are available for the sports special though? kinda wondering this because Im pretty sure I live in a non restricted country so Im not sure why I dont get it on my tab but oh well

As for the new Jackpot tabs, yeah its just Multimaster with buy-in. I believe we all have discussed this back in the day when they decided to shut Multimaster down because alot of people would abuse this so one of the discussion back in the day was introducing buy in fee for the Multimaster so here it is, the new Multimaster with buy-in fee. I havent try it yet though, probably will in the upcoming days

So Who do you see getting out of the quarter-finals?
I would like to see a Real Madrid vs PSG Champions League finals for the first of next month.

It will be total massacre if this is the final. I personally love to watch Real Madrid - Dortmund though. Dortmund might be conceded first if this is the final but they are not the team that will stand and watch being slaughter so I kinda expect it to be a harsh game with lots of crazy action as well as red cards lol. We need a crazy final for Real Madrid otherwise they will have another trophy easily after beating Manchester City

So its been a while since we get any special bet isnt it?
73  Economy / Economics / Re: The collapse of central banks...Inevitable? on: April 18, 2024, 10:00:42 PM
With central banks struggling to keep inflation under control, people are beginning to lose trust in the traditional financial system. Some politicians (eg: Javier Milei) even suggested to abolish central banks as they're the main cause of the world's economic problems.

Its another dumb idea from politicians to get people's attention I guess. There is no way for a country abolish central banks and as much as we hate banks, they are staying and imagine what kind of chaos will happen when it gets shut down. Anyway inflation are staying, countries are going to print more money and in case shit happens then redenomination is the only way to control that shit

If the global economy continues to deteriorate, do you think central banks will collapse? If that happens, it will be the end of Fiat for good. In such a scenario, do you think Bitcoin will become the currency of the world?

As much as I love bitcoin, thats not going to happen

Get ready this summer for some new action on the dota2 scene! Cool

Im still waiting for the day that they will announce prizepool on Riyadh master. In case you dont know, this Riyadh Master series are tournament with highest prizepool aside from TI and yeah this is the cornerstone for the Esports World Cup. Last year they had $15M on this tournament alone and imagine how high will it be this year.

Aside from this tournament on July, we are going to have ESL One Birmingham and another dreamleague for dota2 so thats alot of EPT points up for grabs in case a team wants to be part of the invited teams on Riyadh Master so there will be alot of action for sure
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 18, 2024, 06:14:10 PM
Regarding Mohamad Salah, he can still stay at Liverpool but that is also not certain because the chance of him leaving is also there, especially if their new coach doesn't want Salah.

He can but he probably wont unless Liverpool bring in some high profile manager to manage Liverpool. There is no reason for him to stay and be part of the new Liverpool squad that will be managed by the new manager. Most of the time, new managers need atleast 2 seasons to prove their worth on managing a club so for a 32 years old player like Salah then I guess he should be taking his time to move to SPL because Im sure there will be a club there that could afford to pay him twice the amount Liverpool currently paying him

I guess Ancelotti thought he can count on his experience and the fact that he played less minutes than many of the other players (Guardiola probably chose Kovacic for the same reason, which was imho a weird choice).

Its kinda understandable in that situation because no matter how good you are, there is still so much pressure in penalty shootout especially when you are a young player playing in an away game so placing Modric as 1st taker seems more logical. Pep's decision on either Kovacic and Silva was understandable as well but placing Ederson as 5th taker was abit weird for my taste though
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Rollbit.com | Champions League Pool | $11,000+ in Prizes ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: April 17, 2024, 09:59:01 PM
What a shameful Manchester City.Look when they will also lose the league with such performances, how can Silva lose a penalty by shooting so light and in the center in the hands of the goalkeeper

Well its penalty shootout though so 50 50 chance at best against a team like Real Madrid. Well overall pretty interesting match to watch although Real Madrid had to defend for like the majority of the game but thanks god we get to the penalty shootout instead of having Real Madrid to qualify with only 1 goal

but I think in final we will see PSG vs Real this time and both teams will have equal chances to win the trophy.

Im hoping before we get to the final, we'll get another great semifinals game like we had on quarter finals with lots of goals. PSG-Dortmund is probably gonna be it
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: April 17, 2024, 07:47:20 PM
-snip

It's not confusing at all for NBA followers, I guess it could be for non-followers, the play-in tournament is simply 8 teams fighting for the final 2 spot in the NBA playoffs, in a let me say UEFA Co-efficient fashion where teams from country like Estonia and Switzerland for instance will play multiple qualifying rounds to get into UCL group stage when a team from maybe France only plays one and even when they lose that are guaranteed a slot in the UEL.

Well yeah this is understandable but still pretty weird imo so basically teams that stands on 7th and 8th rank will play one more time regardless wether they lose or win isnt it? Gotta remember this the next time we got something similar like this pop up as the question again. Anyway, I still think llower and upper bracket on esports are way easier to understand for non followers though

1.08 odds for him to win, its going to be silly if he lose this one

I'm stunned the odds is that low for him to win it, If there is any bookie offering the alternative Odds,

Well glad that he didnt mess this one up, another straight 2-0 for Tsitsipas
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 17, 2024, 06:02:46 PM
I dont think they PSG will make it to the final this season. Beating Barca is not a criteria it is just a step to the next strong opponent they will face. They will be facing either Dortmund, Real Madrid or Arsenal.

Eventhough I didnt really enjoy the game last night because of that red card for Barcelona that really turned the game off, I could argue that PSG was way better compared to the 1st leg. They got a chance for sure and I wouldnt count them out of the UCL race yet

As long as either City or Madrid stays on the race, its pretty much hard for any other team to compete but PSG is quite a team that could really tap that small chance into reality. Aside from playing against 10 players yesterday, they were actually quite good though because Barcelona has been trying pretty hard to keep the ball in check but they managed to still get it and scored
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: April 17, 2024, 04:09:47 PM
The simple game of chance means you go with the 4 teams that surely play another game if they lose. Any other pick is an unnecessary gamble.
I'm curious to see how many people went with the other 4 teams, my opponent went with 1 of them which gives me a statistical advantage at least.

Ahh I see what you meant now. I was was actually abit confused when I read this yesterday and now I kinda get it because Pelicans is going to play another game even when they have lost. I totally dont understand abit about how that works lol and yet people keep saying the upper and lower bracket on esports tournament are confusing but this is way more confusing for me

Now Tsitsipass needs to go all the way and win the title for me to get this point  Huh

1.08 odds for him to win, its going to be silly if he lose this one
