381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Cup 2023 Prediction and Discussion on: January 25, 2024, 09:37:37 PM
Four teams qualified for the round of 16 because of the best third position. There are Syria, Palestine, Indonesia and Jordan. Their luck is that in the round of 16 there will be a knockout system. The team that wins, has the right to continue the struggle.

Its just feels weird to have best of the 3rd place in the group to qualify but oh well this is Asian Cup so Im not really expecting any other country aside from Japan and South Korea to actually make it to top 3 atleast. Anyway, I didnt pay any attention before and its surprising that Australia in on Asia Cup despite that they are not really on Asia continent.

Well they are not on europe or any other continent as well but still its weird

For Dota , the prize money on this one is big in my opinion as 1st place takes home 300k but also a direct invite to Esports World Cup

Kinda wondering where do you get this from because liquipedia doesnt list it

Its great though if there is going to be an Esports World Cup or something huge like that. Heck yeah even another Riyadh Master would be wonderful as currently dota2 pro scene is pretty dry with only ESL and Betboom that sponsors most of the tournament. Tournaments hosted by Betboom are targeting audience from EEU region so yeah anything with larger scope would be great

it’s been one of the quietest transfer windows I can remember.

I guess we’ll see if that continues for the remainder of the month, not long to go now until the window slams shut.

Well probably due to AFCON and AFC as well though so some clubs could be monitoring their target players closely to slam in a last minute offer. Also most players could be injured during those high intense games though so probably that could be one of the reason as well. Kinda expecting a heated january transfer but yeah compared to the previous years, this is a pretty quiet transfer window

Kalvin Phillips is 28 years old. and he still can't be an option in Man City's main squad. he couldn't compete with the other players on the team. he had no problems with the coach and also his friends on the team. he went to West Ham to get more playing time. I hope he can shine with West Ham.

He is decent but in a team like Manchester City, being decent is definitely not enough

They want an all Filo players to their roster and it's a major achievement if ever they win some majors.

I heard some rumours about this, well not really a rumours but more of a statement from 23savage iirc. Something that says, if you let more than 1 filipinos in the team then slowly that team will turn into an all filipinos team. So yeah I guess filipinos loves to stick together in a team huh and personally I dont really mind this as long as the teams are showing great results

Have not heard of this problem within the CounterStrike qualifiers before but there seems to be a rather big topic of discussion amongst pro-players with the use of anticheats and this one company who has covered up exposures of several individuals who have participated in these cheats performed and some have got away with a quarter of a million with promotions due to the cheats used.

Well this happened alot and not only only cs2, there were few cases on dota2 as well especially on covid19 era because there were alot of online tournaments. Its pretty hard to spot this type of cheats especially on online tournaments and the only consequences you will get from this is a lifetime ban on online tournaments so yeah its not that they are going to put you in jail or something hence few people will always exploit this
385  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 24, 2024, 08:40:36 PM
Today is 24th and only about 6 to 7 days left before this month finally comes to an end, and personally, I would say that expecting the price of bitcoin to top or even reach $42,500 before or during the month ending seems unrealistic, and this is because since after the ETF approval, the price volatility of bitcoin have significantly reduced, in the sense that, the price is either stable or going down most of the time.

So what range are you expecting it to hit by the end of the month? Im personally leaning towards $39k or below because according to my own memorie, btc was dumped most of the years during the period when its getting close to the lunar new year. It on next month I believe so yeah price has been gradually decreasing and even now it still lingers on $39.5k - $40.5k during today

Anyone that bet on around $39k has the advantage right now

So again, the price of bitcoin will definitely reach $42,500 and even beyond, but this is likely to happen as from next month as we draw closer to the halving which is coming up in the Month of april if I am not mistaken

probably not, the effect of halving most likely seen like atleast 6 months after halving
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 24, 2024, 07:29:14 PM
The January transfer window is almost closing and there has been no major news of the Gunners signing some players. It is possible that the club is concerned about the Financial Fair Play rules and doesn't want to exceed their limits..

Probably still trying to get Toney on their end as Brentford is definitely stalling this. As for the FFP rules, I doubt any of the major teams like Arsenal would have this as their concern. Any of the top club would be able to hire the best attorney on their case to rule this out or find a loophole for this rules, same thing that City has been doing so far but its Arsenal though and we all know their financial situation is not as huge as the other major clubs so I doubt that that this is their concern

I do regularly participate in twitter contests and giveaways from casinos I trust like roobet, but winning those contests is very rare.

Obviously because the amount of people hunting those contests and giveaways are insane. Besides that, most of those has a very easy requirement to join which is usually only by like and retweets so yeah tons of throw away accounts would join those. Any of us in bitcointalk has better chance on winning something in these bitcointalk exclusive contest rather than twitter's contest

I think I've only not won twice from the day I started participating in Roobet art contest here in BitcoinTalk.

Oh boy, how I love to win one of this someday but I dont think I can with all those amazing arts

With Kuroky that's probably the last thing to happen when he seems to be the guy that would easily de-escalate those heated situations.

Nigma already got their next members in. Its Fbz and Matthew from SA, I believe Matthew used to be a captain as well so he could probably spit out some sense into Kuroky's numb skull

Anyway I totally like the new EPT rules, roster kept getting changed almost like every 2 weeks or so. Any teams that has no point so far could be changing their roster if things dont work out for them and its even better for a team that want to switch out or try a new member for the team, there wont be any penalty for switching 1 player

I'll sum the cup semifinalist answers'

Hhampuz vs Renato297
In between both of them have 5 different answers which is question #1, #4, #5, #6 and #9

Ulven vs chi20
This pair only have 4 different answers and that is question #3, #6, #7 and #10

I need both Hhampuz and chi20 to win 3 of their different answers to settle the game before the penalties  Roll Eyes

ol' Sportsbet.io favourite, Honest Joe has moved up the ranks to board level now, and we have a new fella join the business.

Is it weird that I ask who is Honest Joe btw? sportsbet's loyal player? welcome aboard then !

Trust me, it's much easier than the challenges "Guess the slot" from Roobet, run here 2-3 years ago. And still many, including myself, had managed to win hundreds of USD in those challenges.

This really brings back memories. So it has been 2-3 years since it started huh, time sure flies pretty fast. I thought it was like less than 2 years.

I spent like hours, literally hours on this contest before trying to figure out what slot the images came from. I won a few iirc but not really an amount that I could boast but yeah it was fun before some other players joined in then they somehow managed to easily guess all those images lol. I felt dumb and kinda wasted so I decided to quit joining it

Pretty fun back then, not gonna lie

Betting on the bitcoin price prediction has become a very difficult mission these days since the Bitcoin ETF was approved, it seems that the high expectations that existed around this approval have become something that people have started to look at with less enthusiasm, I I remember that before this SEC approval, there were many analysts making predictions that the price would rise a lot as soon as the SEC approved it,

'As soon as' is probably not a suitable words to use in the context. I personally believe that in the longer terms, ETF approval is going to be one of the main reason that the price increases but to be fair the price has been increasing by significant amount since the last 6 months. Thats roughly the time that some of us heard of this ETF approval issue so yeah price spiked and people sold some of their stash, its normal

I guess most people are going to lose their prediction this month huh but yeah its still a week to go, price could still rally

How do they call it in tennis when a player wins a game 3-0? I think there's a name for it.

Straight sets.

Well goodluck on ur round against @Trofo. May the luckiest among you guys win  Roll Eyes

Waterpolo saved me this time to be honest. As I said before, I only understood after the fact how lucky I got as slackovic said that Croatia was leading. But turned out the Spanish team made it happen.

I felt bad even just following the game through flashscore, imagine how the Croatian team felt about losing the final game. Croatia was leading and everything was smooth on 4th quarter or atleast until the 5th minutes of 4th quarter, they must have felt that they would be winning the game then Spain rushed that 3 points in the span of 3 minutes
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 22, 2024, 06:48:46 PM
but it looks like Bretford will not easily let go of Toney

Everything has a price and if Brentford hasnt really considering Arsenal's offer yet that means they are lowballing or it could be that Brentford is stalling the deal. Its pretty common strategy for a club to delay it as long as possible therefore the club that offer the deal would most likely to increase the offer or probably look for another option to close the deal before deadline

Totally love all these transfer strategy though, its fascinating

But irl it's all about what you can get away with, not what you deserve...  And it's fcked up.

Well we live in a world where money can buy everything so its expected that City keep getting away from all these allegations. There are alot at stakes for them, basically their own branding of their club would be ruined forever if they are charged

Pep is not a bad coach. I'm only telling you that his managerial career has been easy; he started from the top, whereas others started from the bottom and grew to the top. They are not the same.

I've been saying this like couple of times as well. Compared to the other coach's career, Pep has it way easier starting from Barcelona then Bayern Munich and now Manchester City. He is a good coach but Im not convinced if he is going to be able to handle those 2nd tier team and bring them to top 4 or something

Those clubs do not engage in illicit transfers to retain their managers, which is why they do not face 115 charges. Manchester City told you that they bought Halaand for less than €60m, and you believed. Lol

Lol I remember this when it was announced that Halaand was only that much, I was shocked and now something fishy is being cooked on this deal

@chi20 : Rublev won and it was pretty close game between those two. I had a bet on De Minaur to win just in case if he wins then Im going to get decent amount to spend tonight but well he didnt and Im glad that the round end with a draw. Gotta take all the points that I can get to survive relegation so 1 point is so much better than losing

Goodluck @Hhampuz and @chi20 on the cup round !

Arsenal finally returned to winning ways after successfully humiliating Crystal Palace with a landslide score of 5-0.

Humiliating is not really an appropriate word to use because its Crystal palace we are talking about and they are as bad as Arsenal on their last 5 games but obviously Arsenal has the better squad so its kinda expected that they won the game. Heck even bookies put them on a huge favourite tonight against Crystal Palace with odds less than 1.28 on most bookies. The clean sheet odds was less than 1.7 so yeah about time that they get this 3 points especially after getting only 1 point on their last 3 games
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: January 20, 2024, 04:47:36 PM

Holy heck, thats a juicy $100 freebet. What promotions was it from? was it the 5x odds multipliers winning streak or something?

Anyway thats a long period of waiting time because Liverpool - Chelsea is on 31st January so if Liverpool win against Bournemouth which Im sure they would then its going to be long ride until their next one. Chelsea is a bit of an oddball though, at the worst case scenario it could be a draw on Anfield against Chelsea but hey mate all the best for you

Arsenal match starting in 15 mins i like them to have a clean sheet vs crystal palace , its short odds at 1.67 but should hit  Grin

Gratz, it was a clean sheet. I was real close on picking a draw on half time, glad that I didnt  Roll Eyes

63% of the people are betting on price range of $40,001 - $45,000 and they will get the odds of 1.47 in case price do hold between these levels.

This is the current odds right so earlier people might have been getting higher odds with the time multiplier. I guess on the last day or two, the odds could be dropping even way lower because last minute bettors could be swarming in. Not really a fan of any bets below 1.5 but for most people, its enjoyable to make that little profit of the table.

Depending on how it goes, below $40k is highly likely. Might wanna throw in some bets around this level

Double post, you might want to erase one of them

Expensive compared to what? Do you remember how much Mudrik cost? Or Anthony? These are mediocre players (at least for now) but they paid a lot of money for them because that’s the way the transfer market is now (Saudis and everything else).

For the record, murdyk was in Chelsea and everyone knows that the oil money are going there so they literally slapped higher prices on him. As for Antony, yeah we overpaid him for sure because Ten Hag insisted on taking him in. The board was desperate with result thus they granted his request although yeah the price on Antony was ridiculous for sure

Deal !
FC Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel has liked for Bayern Munich to sign right-back Kieran Trippier from Newcastle united.

Kinda expecting this to happen especially that he is going to hit 34 years old this year so any team would likely to send him over if there are other teams that wants him
