What makes it highly promising and full of potential project is the multiple sub projects/products what have been built or being developed on the top of Bancor platform. You need much time to study the project in depth to understand how this is underestimated by large number of people. For the moment I will talk only about Samsung S10 integrated exchange functionality that alone is huge deal.
Your post reminds me of this article by co-founder Galia Benartzi. It's almost two years old now, but still describes Bancor's mission well: https://blog.bancor.network/how-the-long-tail-of-cryptocurrencies-spells-massive-opportunity-for-society-c5f474dbd192Yeah, Galia's definitely the thought leader to follow when it comes to cryptocurrencies and the future. That article still holds up very well!

BANKEX UPDATE!BANKEX 1st Quarter UpdateHere's an excerpt from the article:"As our industry matures, its gravity center is swinging towards Asian financial capitals. Recognizing this trend, BANKEX started the process of moving its headquarters from New York. Currently, we shortlisted several potential new locations in Singapore and Hong Kong. We expect to make a decision after extensive consultations with local partners and regulators. By the same token, recognizing the fact that North American demand for our products and services is likely to focus on hedge and structured finance industry, we are moving our U.S. headquarters from its current location in World Trade Center, in New York City’s financial district, to Norwalk, Connecticut, to facilitate faster and closer interactions with our existing and prospective clients."
