261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Swarm 2.0 - Open Infrastructure for Digital Securities on: February 18, 2019, 09:30:10 PM
Here's what Swarm is up to- from team member Alex Lieders on Telegram:

Quote
"We are actively working on a bunch of things right now:

1) MAP protocol - We are finalizing all the API calls and we shall soon be using it for the new tokens, investors and exchanges.

2) Token Fundamentals - Everything related to a token. This is a structured document that will give you all the information you need about a security token directly from the token contract. Token restriction rules, information about the issuer , what types of qualification you will need and much more. These are just a few of the things we are planning for it.

3) Migration of users from the legacy platform to a decentralize application. Making sure that your wallet is MAP compliant.

4) Token issuance dApp for anyone to be able to create a security token with compliance baked in.

5) Fundraising Module - Allow anyone to raise funds utilizing up to 30 fiat currencies on Ethereum. With custodianship solutions and much more.

6) Masternode infrastructure which will support a lot of the above.

7) A bunch of partners. From projects that want to raise Digital Securities, Exchanges, Qualification providers for MAP and consultancy firms. "

267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ELI] Eligma | AI-driven & blockchain-based cognitive commerce platform on: February 16, 2019, 09:31:10 PM
Besides Eligma's famous undertakings at BTC City, the whitepaper states that Eligma sees a future in which every household is a business.

See sect. 3.2 to read about Eligma's vision to revolutionize the second-hand marketplace.

That vision sounds realistic to me. If you have a platform that allows for specialized contracts (which blockchain does), it is possible that almost every household will turn into a business.

Indeed that is the vision!

zkSNARKs are the only proper solution to user anonymity on the blockchain. But do you know how they operate?

Take a look back at this article on Medium to learn all you need to know.

Yes, zkSNARKs are an awesome tool, this is a MUST read!

Great to see coverage of our latest GBX-DAX listing, Iconiq's ICNQ, in this Finance Magnates article. To experience the full portfolio of digital assets available on our regulated and insured Digital Asset Exchange, register for an account today.

https://www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/exchange/gbx-launches-icnq-token-on-its-digital-asset-exchange/

This is good news, but I don't see on the exchange.gbx.gi my token, but etherscan shows the availability of the token iconic. What could be the problem? Tokens received for bounty.

I recommend you stop by the Official Telegram Group to get this issue resolved!

Have you already requested Discord access? We're on the final countdown for the demo on the 14th!
Exciting stuff! Can't wait to see the demo in action!

Best part is, both Chris Tse and Hassan Abdel-Rahman will be presenting it!
Let's wait patiently for the presentation of the two people and if we can know what the two people will be presenting about, and hopefully it will be on time
Chris and Hassan are Cardstack's founding director and Senior Blockchain Developer, respectively. They'll be demoing Cardstack's software that they've been developing.

Get a sneak peak of Cardstack here:

The absolute best team to be demoing the software!

Momentum has a lot in store for you and loyalty programs, join here and see what Momentum is all about!
It seems interesting also to see this Momentum and if you are interested, it's better to join this project, but regardless, I think it depends on your individual decisions
That's true, and while we wouldn't recommend Momentum to someone living off the grid, for the reason you mention, Momentum's MobileBridge is 'smart' enough to offer you free food when there's a good chance that you're both hungry and available, and to offer other gift bundles when you're near your favorite retailer, almost always at an appropriate time. So just about everyone can participate and benefit.

All of this with the convenience of the MMTM token, instead of juggling a dozen different tokens. Brilliant!
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ELI] Eligma | AI-driven & blockchain-based cognitive commerce platform on: February 12, 2019, 09:20:24 PM
The total supply of the ELI token is 327,902,034 and no additional tokens will ever be issued. The ELI token will be used within our product line in exchange for useful features and services.

See where ELI are available here:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/eligma-token/

Keeping the supply from inflating is the best way to reward early adopters!
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MAD Network - A Decentralized Network for the Advertising Industry on: February 12, 2019, 09:19:24 PM

Such a great article. I agree that advertisers should respect user's privacy and that users should be in full control of their data.

Great point-of-view from the team:

Quote
"For Helfgott, almost all of today’s advertising is covert. 'Users haven’t consented to allowing advertisers to use their information to target them,' he states. 'If someone buys a diet book or visits a diet website, a junk food company can target them because they likely have a weakness for unhealthy food. If I search for 'Lipitor' (a drug used to treat high cholesterol,) a fast food company can target me. I don’t think that’s something anyone would knowingly consent to.'"
