ICYMI, from CoinMetro's blog: The Crypto Community's Political Ideology
Here's an excerpt from the article: "The main virtue of the crypto community is neutrality and democracy. Digital currencies were created to be decentralized and to belong to everyone and no-one.
Lately, there have been speculations about political inclinations of the crypto community. We know where the speculations come from. The crypto-verse is becoming more and more regulated, although the original idea was to steer away from the traditional financial systems and everything they may imply. But the financial titans have their tools to get their hand on the industries and communities that can be regulated and controlled, the crypto community included." BLOCKSHIPPING UPDATE!"Hello dear community,
I know you were expecting to get an update during last week. Unfortunately, some things happened last week that required us to prioritize more. Blockshipping was part of a Danish delegation traveling to China together with the Danish Foreign Ministry to establish connections and explore collaboration possibilities between different stakeholders and investors. The visit was very intense and required a lot of work and coordination from us. We are pleased to report you on the visit and you can expect information about it in a timely manner" Here is an interesting report in Chinese which you can translate: https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/j-jt-ggk78KJXIYjyQ7ZTgYou can visit the Official Telegram Group for any questions you may have about the project.

We’re Making Moves What’s been happening in the Cardstack worldHere's an excerpt from the article: "In parallel, we’re moving full steam ahead on our Four Edges design system, which will power the dotBC-Warner platform as well as Card Space, our decentralized community management and content syndication platform. Card Space visualizes data objects — like messages, media, transactions, smart contracts, and dApps — as composable cards, which users can exchange in conversation, or arrange into fully-featured web experiences. The goal is to make it easy to build relationships on the decentralized Internet." If you have any questions about Cardstack, do feel free to join the Official Telegram Group!

Hey, is there any extra advantages of holding the BNT tokens right now? I mean like dividends or something?
Thanks
Hi there. Holding BNT token does not give dividends. There are relay tokens, which earn fees for the owner whenever the relay is used to make conversions on the network, however, we are waiting for more documentation to provide for the community. Thanks for the reply but how many percents does the company make with each successful conversion any idea? Relay owners get between 0.1% - 0.3% of the fees from a conversion. If you're asking about the Bancor foundation, they don't get any of the fees. Thank you very much your reply answers my query completely. BTW just converted my BNT to EOS and it worked like a charm xD Glad to hear that you're all taken care of, Peter! Anytime you experience issues, the support team is ready to help you out with response times of 60 seconds or less: support.bancor.network The response time of 60 seconds or less is quite impresive. I will bookmark the link now but hopefully, I never use it lol ;P The aims to please!

Could someone explain to me how "decentralized" and "security token" can even be possible to coexist in the same sentence?
Sure I'll give it a shot: "Security Tokens ( explained here) allow for assets to be traded, exchanged, and transferred in a decentralized fashion, e.g. peer-to-peer." How's that?

Getting Governance Right: Learning from the failure of the DAO.Here's an excerpt from the article: "As we worked on the governance model in collaboration with our developer team and legal counsel, we identified essential technical and legal elements that we felt needed to be part of the solution before presenting the proposed governance model to the community for vote. Community governance is core to Swarm, so considerations including the role which different bodies in the organization hold and the proper workflow to facilitate community decisions are crucial to get right. Add in the evolving regulatory environment and it was further clear that we needed more time to get this right." If you have any questions about Swarm, please join the Official Telegram Group!
