165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining will die in 2018! on: March 19, 2018, 02:49:46 AM
This will reduce the price of GPU, at present 500$ vega 56 GPU is for sale at a price of 800-900$
Price is going high

Still, people use GPU and reason is

we can mine any coin using GPU mining
we can use GPU for other purposes as well
Resale value of GPU is high

166  Other / Meta / Earning Merit Point in Bitcointalk on: March 19, 2018, 12:12:37 AM
It's really not easy to earn merit points even with good content because people with merits don't think its necessary even when they have extra merit points.

Reason user need merits Points

RankRequired activityRequired merit
Brand new00
Newbie10
Jr Member300
Member6010
Full Member120100
Sr. Member240250
Hero Member480500
LegendaryRandom in the range 775-10301000

I also don't understand this

"You get merit points when someone sends you some for one of your posts"

I read this post about merits that only people with high merits get more merits even when they don't need those merits

Link- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2822726.0

Theymos said - Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months by other people that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread. The point of this is to demonstrate your ability to give out merit usefully. [kindly Explain this]

Link -  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0

There are many posts with proper title and content that need to be merited but they are not getting any single merit.

Guide to Earn merits

In my view there are some incentive also for giving merits, if anyone gives merits to low-quality post then he will be punished by losing some of his existing merits points and if he give merits to high-quality post that is helpful for people then he must get a reward for this as well.

167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coins will you buy during this dip ? on: March 18, 2018, 06:21:11 PM
BUY top 10 Coins during this period,
because when it will rise then you will never gain the same price again.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum road to $300? on: March 18, 2018, 06:05:49 PM
I think ETH fall is connected with facebook and twitter ICO advertising ban, so the price can go even below 300$.

There are still a lot of option for advertisement, Facebook and Google are just easy medium to generate traffic but there are lot more site as well which can be used for advertisement

ETH will recover along with BTC, it seems that someone is intentionally dropping price of ETH

172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion on the influence of ASIC machines on: March 17, 2018, 11:05:18 PM
If you know that cryptonote coins work on difficulties, the more the hash rate is more the difficulty is, So ASIC machines can help coin developer to stable the price and only mining at low difficulty will get a benefit in an early stage.

176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why We chose IOTA over other Cryptocurrency on: March 17, 2018, 05:42:42 PM
We chose IOTA over other Cryptocurrency due its 4 main advantage over the other cryptocurrencies.
They are Scalable, Decentralised, Modular, and Fee Less.

But IS IOTA Is Not a Blockchain Technology ?? Smiley

Many people questions about IOTA is that IOTA don't have PROPER WALLET,
And they are taking a long time to develop proper wallet.

Wallet they give is not up to that level.

However best part of IOTA is zero FEES

But TON will be full in App accepted and User can send directly to User without knowing the Adress.
Furthermore the Bot solution is bad because Bot owner has also ALL PRIVATE KEYS from everyone which is using the bot.

Dev,
Is there any way around this? Bot having private keys of all users is really not a good privacy centric solution.
