301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you track ico's ? on: February 26, 2018, 10:25:23 PM
I know ico review sites but they do not contain all of the icos. Some of low profile icos made huge success. I never knew they exist till their ico ends in minutes. Where to find those icos?

I dont know about review but you can track erc20 icos details in block chain , check this post about tracking

It will go 1000 Sat just hodl
In my opinion, I think that Bitsum only can hit 1k satoshi if developers of the project can released impressive products, which can be widely applied in our society. It's possible, so I also hope that this scenario will be true.

We are working to add more features and continuously

308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When mining ETH is end ? on: February 26, 2018, 08:17:31 AM
I am newbie in mining. My friend introduce me to mine since the early of Jan 2018. I invest some hardware to mine ETH. About 200MH/s rate now. I think the profit is ok if it can keep to run 2 or more years.

However, when i read more information, i find some news about ETH will go to Proof of work to proof of stack. The information is about ETH will stop to be mined.

http://ethereumin.com/how-much-can-you-make-mining-ethereum-beginners-guide/

My question as below.

1) should i invest more hardware to mine ETH in coming times ? I plan to upgrade to 400MH/s hashrate or more in March. I don't know if ETH mining will be end 1 months later or 1 years later.
2) Since, hardware is quite expensive now, the ROI to hardware is about 12 months in my country. If ETH is end to mine, then what is your backup plan ?

thanks!
solarsolar

Target New Coins, That has potential to grow 1000x and have low difficulty level
this will give you more profit and you can buy ETH using that profit.

i am mining  BITSUM , this is a telegram based coin and very new . you can check other coins as well.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is It Possible to Buy Altcoins with Fiat Money on: February 26, 2018, 07:03:36 AM

The question may sound a little off, but im curious, is it possible to directly exchange Fiat money for Alt coins,? if not, whats the reason?

There are many altcoins that can be purchased directly from fiat, you need to verify your account for this and then only you can participate.
Exchanges like bitfinex offer this as well

312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Learn How to Find or Trace Token Details on: February 26, 2018, 02:41:35 AM
If you want to trace or track any token then you need to search that token in etherscan.io, many investors don't know how to find this so i am sharing this small information with you.

To find details like total supply recent transaction and other details about any ERC20 token you need to visit etherscan.io and need to search that token name in search bar and hit enter and all details of that token will be in front of you.

If you have any other tip, share with users.

313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the difference between an ICO and a 100% Premined Altcoin? on: February 26, 2018, 02:09:00 AM
SO

Whats the difference between an ICO and a 100% Premined Altcoin?

Arent they essentially the same thing? Someone mined all the coins in a blockchain for himself and SELLs them for fiat/BTC/ETH for his personal gain and calls it an ICO (with a few exceptions such as BAT for example).

Back in the day when someone premined 2% and then introduced the coin we would all get riled up and mad and call him a scammer. Even worse, there were some developers who didnt premine but somehow when the wallet/mining software was intraduced there were difficulties so somehow a large sum was "instamined". Yes Instamine was a BAD word back then because it meant someone Instantly mined say 1% of the total coins for himself . That was frowned upon.

Now a 100% premine, is all cool and these ICO dudes have Instagram ads and websites! I am stunned or maybe I dont understand the difference. Well technically I know a fork of litecoin and a "smart contract" are different in terms of programming language but essentially an ICO is a block chain where the owner has collected ALL the coins for himself and sells them for profit.

I was busy on this forum back in 2013 but I have been away since 2014 and just got back (they deleted my username here) in the game and I am kind of stunned by the appearance of these 100% premined, 100% creator owned altcoins called ICOs and how our community tolerates them. Whats worse is that all the money that goes into ICOs actually goes into the Ethereum owners pocked who sells the Eth to buy the ICO.

So what happened? How did we succumb to this?

ICO is generally on ERX20 Token are Token are created within few hours, whereas minable coin requires a lot of time and
it's not possible that anyone can 100% Mine all Coins,
HE/SHE will leave either  30% 20% or 10% for other miners,

315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is hodling alts dangerous? on: February 26, 2018, 01:57:13 AM
Depend on what coin you are holding,

if you are holding a useless coin that has no future and development then all such coin is dangerous to hold, if you target such coins then don't buy at the all-time high price, always buy at all time low price so that when you change your mind then you can easily sell that without any loss.

In future, a lot of such coins will come in the market so beware invest only on those who try to do things differently.

Which are your favourite privacy coins?

How exactly are you supposed to retain privacy when using a messenger that is linked to mobile phone numbers...?

Its privacy,
Mobile number is only used to create an account but no one can find your wallet address using that mobile number.
if you think that it is linked with mobile number and can be traced then all wallet installed in a system can also be traced using IP address.

mobile number has nothing to do with that

318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: HOW TO INCREASE BOUNTY EARNINGS on: February 25, 2018, 08:20:39 PM
Hi guys,

As my last post has generated quite some intrest concerning bounty earnings, I would love to share a hidden gem in the bounty world.

I guess lots of you are still hunting the classical way, with weekly reports and long spreadsheets. As you all know, this isn't an efficient way of working.

Last month, I came across the Bountyhive platform and I honestly think this will be a gamechanger. At the moment, a general Facebook campaign only has +- 2500 participants, and you do not have to post weekly reports. You just have to share 2 posts/week, and the Bountyhive employees will keep track of these shares.

But these social media campaigns probably won't get you rich. I'm focusing on the translation campaigns, as they're promising +- 3ETH/translation. Unfortunately, participation in these campaigns is quite a lottery for the popular languages.

Thank me later!
Jan
