1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please do not "turn" Airdrop into garbage in the future on: March 22, 2018, 03:27:01 AM
I agree with you. But there are coins who just garbage the airdrop and then there's DeepOnion. Just check out DeepOnion, we are in the last few phases of distribution. Great coin, great tech, awesome Devs, great community.
We just had few important releases yesterday like stealth addresses and Android wallet which is crisp.
Would suggest all to try out DO..

5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Exchange Is More Trustable? on: February 27, 2018, 09:09:53 AM
Bittrex , Coinbase, Kucoin, etc are good. But only trade on them. No exchange is trustable my friend. Always keep your tokens on desktop wallet or ledger. With a sweep exchanges can wash away all your hard earned money.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: JR MEMBER on: February 27, 2018, 08:09:44 AM
Every post whether comment or a independent post corresponds to a activity...14 activities per 2 weeks is the point. Even if you post 45 posts or aomments it will be counted only 14 activities, rest will be counted as post...

9  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best exchange site on: February 24, 2018, 02:36:09 PM
There are many...Coinbase being one of them if trading in USD, Koinex, Zebpay if trading in INR. After buying always keep you coins that you are not trading in wallet instead of exchange.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Status is Newbie on: February 20, 2018, 02:58:31 PM
You need 30 activity points to become Jr.Member.
You ACN attain max of 14 activity points in 2 weeks. So it take about a month to become a Jr.Member. after that you can participate in various ICO's. My advise, don't focus on levelling up, just help out people and see your level getting increased quickly. You also get merit points which help you in leveling up at later stages. Help is the key.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie here, bought bitcoin, what next? on: February 20, 2018, 02:40:10 PM

12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it too late for the rest of us? on: February 20, 2018, 09:52:13 AM
Those of us who haven't purchased any crypto before, is it too late? Should we even bother trying? I have read the market was falling lately but it seems pretty pumped already. I wonder if there is any room to grow anymore.
It is not late, instead it's early right now... Half the world in s till unaware of what crypto currency es are and their usage...Once institutional investors tap in on this just imagine what it will be...just DYOR and invest right away...the best time is always now...

15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why are people on forums so mean and harsh? on: February 10, 2018, 01:01:06 PM
It's fine if newbies ask same questions over and over again. What I think is that more senior members can either ignore them and don't answer. This way they have to dig up themselves. If they continue the same question over and over again opening a thread for it, they can be reported to moderator. But what I think is there is no need to show any hostility towards anyone even if it's new member. Remember even the seniors were new at some point. The members are senior here not only because they've got a account here before anyone else but for they possess some good skills which they can utilise in helping others instead of showing hostility towards anyone.
It's not against the rules to ask questions which was already asked and answered. So, there would be no point to report such threads. Yes, we can ignore such questions, but many people still answering - some are just posting for their signature campaign. Others are showing hostility, but still, usually they give correct answer Smiley

i really really hope we newbies can give (-) to users like that. we newbies is trying hard to learn here so please don't make it harder, don't make us give up to learn here. both spammer and bad user who bullied newbies should get some punishment for their bad attitudes. those people who act like a boss, like a master and bullying the newbies are worst, equal to the spammer.  Angry
Newbies also can leave negative feedbacks. But only feedbacks left by DT members affect user trust score. Basically, feedbacks left by you and me have same "power".
Personally, I also don't like users who acting like a boss just because that they have high rank. But my point is that should a bit more effort before asking questions. If you know how to use Google, I'm sure you can find answers to some basic questions which we are seeing on bitcointalk daily.
Personally, I've learned almost everything that I know about bitcoin myself without asking many questions. You just need to read, read and read. And repeat it daily.
Fully agree with you boss...Actually it's nothing against anyone newbie or not...if a person wants to learn something they can find N number of ways to do that...
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why are people on forums so mean and harsh? on: February 08, 2018, 05:12:34 PM
You are right, attitude towards newbies are negative here. But there are many reasons why. Newbies asking same general questions which was already asked million times. These users should put only minimal effort to find the answer, it's not that hard. For that purpose we have sticked topics with general information that they need to know. If they didn't found answer, it's nothing wrong to ask here. And more experienced members are getting tired to see and answer same questions. You are saying that some people are lazy by nature, but it's their own problem.
But I'm seeing harsh attitude towards newbies not only here on Bitcointalk, but pretty much everywhere where we can find discussions about crypto. Newbies asking same questions like "How to buy BTC with USD", "Which exchange, wallet to use", "how long verification takes" and etc.
It's fine if newbies ask same questions over and over again. What I think is that more senior members can either ignore them and don't answer. This way they have to dig up themselves. If they continue the same question over and over again opening a thread for it, they can be reported to moderator. 18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi everyone! on: February 06, 2018, 02:06:33 PM
You have come to the right placement friend... I would suggest you reading a lot here and reddit. I would also suggest you to DYOR before investing into any coin.check the team behind it, check the problem they are trying to solve. Also try reading about charts and start analysing different graphs and charts. This would help you avoid being scammed.
I would also suggest you to check DeepOnion. It's the best privacy coin out there and it's way too undervalued. Due to whole market drop it's between 3 to 4 USD, best point is getting in it now. We also have airdrops. Check https://DeepOnion.org for more details
