65  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dank is getting danker on: April 18, 2014, 10:20:06 PM
dank,
how can you stay so calm with the constant barrage of criticism here? I see so many users non stop verbally bash you yet you stay so calm whats the secret? I would have been banned by now defending myself lol

P.S. yes i know what dank has done in the past with the loan Etc.

He doesn't believe a thing he posts.  He will post whatever he thinks will get replies.  He absolutely craves the attention he doesn't get anywhere else.

And you sir, just fed the troll.   Undecided

I'm wondering why doesn't he find someone to pay him for his signature

He is a confirmed scammer.  He can't change his signature or edit any of his posts.

did not know that, nice info

You want to get the worst VPN available?

so I just went trought the VPNs myself, and most the VPNs don't have more then 10 countries available, I'm not very much consirned how long do they keep the logs, I'm not hacking anything Cheesy

they have servers in 72 countries, plenty of different IPs from each country

even the small countries which no one would use for anything Cheesy

for example

Uganda --> 125 different IPs

bigger countries of course have more (for example USA 296 servers, 37 742 IP addresses)

this is what I actually needed Cheesy

I bought a 1-month subscription yesterday, I'll probably go for another 6 months later on Smiley
It's not about hacking, it's about tracking.
And watch out for US-based services. The US law can force VPN providers to log everything and give it to the government without informing the user.

as I said I'm not doing anything illegal

just making multi-accounts in a game Cheesy

need the IP of the country where I'm making those multi-accounts lol
69  Other / Off-topic / Re: Vod and Dank, Ying and Yang. on: April 18, 2014, 10:11:12 PM
I've been checking the off topic section and you know what caught my eye. Vod and Dank.

They're like mortal enemies, ying and yang, good and scammer.

Vod and Dank remind me of Goku and Vegeta. Dank is Vegeta and Vod is Goku.

Vegeta did some bad things in the past and Goku is trying to get him to pay it back, but Vegeta keeps denying and doing his own thing. But Goku is relentless, and will not stop until Vegeta pays up what he owes.

Grin  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

I realized Wednesday night that dank is a troll.  He will post whatever he thinks will get the most attention - attention he doesn't get from family or friends.

He doesn't believe in a festival, love, or tsunamis.  It's all just to incite some sort of reaction - he doesn't care if its good or bad.

I'm the last hero member that bothers to even reply to him.  I'm done feeding the troll.

the last hero has fallen Cheesy

This people don't understand that satoshi is not in physical form. He is an AI that came from the future and only exist in digital form.

or he was scared of the goverments and made a smart choice to remain anonymous
72  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just made a Bitcoin graffiti on: April 18, 2014, 09:58:49 PM
A fun idea, but poor execution IMHO.

Why not use a stencil to do something that looks better?  Why not put this mark on a local Bank or financial institution?  Seems a better target than a historical column.

So I live in the oldest town in Europe, Vinkovci

and there is this monument that isn't really maintained, it's from around 1897 or so I think

It's in the center of the city, next to the walking zone, Saturdays are filled with people in the park where the logo is located, it will get lots of exposure
Near the bus stop, near the gymnasium (visible at the right on the google maps picture below), right in front of the Great Church and between a couple of coffee shops

This is the initial monument

Since it's full of jibber-jabber, I decided to make a bitcoin logo
It isn't really visible in the dark, looks a lot better during the day

The monument can be viewed from a distance on google maps

Saturdays get really crowded up there, there is a festival called Vinkovci autumn where around 500 000 people visit the town, when it happens all of them will see the logo in the center of the city Cheesy

Accepting donations

yeah, indeed but I can't move logos with my mind so I took a picture of this one Cheesy

Do you honestly think creating an island will accomplish anything in terms of revolutionizing society?

Not everything. But it is a major stepping stone. At least normal people who want to trade Bitcoin (such as myself) can do the same without harassment from the IRS and the cops.

For the price of your island, we can throw a music festival to bring world peace 100 times.  Why don't we try it for 1% of that figure?

Then you would have an island, more island that you would have otherwise.

this post is so dank
75  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donetsk, Kharkov, Lugansk - way to Russia. on: April 18, 2014, 05:21:46 PM
how about the cost of war? Cheesy

That was what I mentioned. The US will only attack a nation if the cost of the war is significantly lower than the revenues from it. Iraq produces crude oil worth some $95 billion every year. Add to that the huge natural gas production. I am not sure about the American expenses in Iraq, but I think that the expenses will be slightly less than that amount.

Regarding Russia, the cost can reach trillions of $$$. Definitely not worth it.

I agree with that, only thing coming from the USA will be some not very important sanctions and critics Cheesy

@Pagan

I don't want to further derail this thread with offtopic, I'm just going to say that comparison with the secession of Croatia stands, but in this case Ukrainians are actually playing the role of Yugoslavia and its forces, while ethnic Russian Ukrainians are like Croats: their methods are very similar to those used by then illegal Croatian paramilitary. Only difference is that the Russians aren't nearly as violent as Croats.

what the hell are you talking about?

I'm not sure I heard of any larger Croatian paramilitary unit, are you sure you didn't mix up nations? Cheesy

Hey,
I have a group of talented graffiti artists and can do any graffiti professionally. I was thinking maybe a 5m round bitcoin on the side of the hi-rise building ? Wink

It's a joke!!

77  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best place to build the Bitcoin island in the international waters on: April 18, 2014, 05:17:35 PM
quite interesting concept

bit expensive but I see no reason why it would't catch on

Yes... I agree. It is a bit expensive right now. But you will not say this when Bitcoin reaches $100,000 vs the USD. Remember, I am planning to start building the island by 2018. Who knows? By that time BTC might reach unbelievable heights.  Grin

that is quite true Cheesy

can't you resereve some free shares for us who helped the idea in the early beginning? Cheesy

plus they can grow weed legally on the island Cheesy

it's a whole new level of freedom

basically no tax, no restrictions

only against robbery,murders,rape..

we're basically putting police back to what they're made to do

we're creating a society for the people Smiley
79  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best place to build the Bitcoin island in the international waters on: April 18, 2014, 05:12:53 PM
good ide 1 share = 100 buks
5 000 000 shars = 500 000 000 buks
Then i definitely would buy 20 shares, and we will have 499 980 shars left

We need around $ 10 billion. So, 1 share = $2,000.

A bit expensive, but you get 1 sq.m land along with the share, and annual dividends.

quite interesting concept

bit expensive but I see no reason why it would't catch on

lol, I'm the original poster, how can you tell me what was my mission? Cheesy

Maybe I misinterpreted something but reading this
So I'v seen a few threads about building a bitcoin island

But the only territory that is unclaimed except for Antartica territories is Bir Tawil

It's basically sand, nothing else

Then reading the Island thread which is talking about an independent country or are where bitcoin will be the currency of choice.

but if it is not the case, let me ask something why anyone would go trough the hassle to get somewhere unclaimed to produce bitcoin? there is no country in the world that prevents you for doing so, I fail to see the point -.- if it is to have an independent territory free to make dah bitcoin country

because of no taxes Cheesy

you seem not to understand how much money you actually lose due to paying taxes Cheesy

tax havens? many countries regions, don't tax bitcoin and don't taxes on properties and stuff like that
We want absolutely no taxes and bitcoin as official currency

Horray ! so we agree that this is the whole point here right ! but you said no -.-
when did I say no? Cheesy

hmm
Quote
no it's not only bitcoin, is own country on which you can have your legislation, where bitcoin will be the currency of choice I suppose ^^

lol, I'm the original poster, how can you tell me what was my mission? Cheesy

lol -.-

bitcoin of course but not only bitcoin Cheesy
