that did not stop the Serbs in slaughtering everyone they found in cities they conquered

We will be using the power of the media. This is a different story this is not a rebellion. lol Before creating that Island we will create a buzz in the media. Make a hype on the project make the people love it. If the Island is on the international water no one would touch it or face an international sanctions and face open war.

we were talking about the island in Panamas juridisticion, that would indeed be a rebellion

you bought the island as a land owner and declere it independent, that's a rebellion
922  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best place to build the Bitcoin island in the international waters on: April 07, 2014, 09:11:15 PM
of course it is, it's a crime against their sovereignty

the world would condemn us because they don't won't such countries declaring independence on their territory too, it would be hard for us to trade

and our trade would greatly benefit bitcoin because they would have to trade into our national currency sometimes Cheesy

of course they would invade, look at this realistically

isn't it more simple to build and island in peace instead of spending money on guns, tanks, helicopters, mercenaries, their salaries and having people die for a war we might not even win

set this as an example, Panama has almost 4 million population out of wich they could certainly gather at least a 100 000 soldiers to defend it's territory voluntarely and they will be well armed by a country that exist a long time while we would have to pay a 100 000 soldiers each at least 3000$ monthly (300 000 000$ per month) and count the prices for weapons,food,water,ammunition..

+ our soldiers would have lower moral because they are only paid to do this while the Panama soldiers are fighting for their own teritorry
I still have a hard time seeing Panama invade us...
But on the other hand it is a quite big island that might be worth to defend... If we do it on a smaller island they would probably not bother to do anything about it.

they definitely will
just check out what happend to the Minerva Reefs and other countries Michael Oliver tried to take over..

if Panama becomes insufficient to acquire the island, other countries will definitely help it..
There is a big difference. If we declare a small, economically uninteresting, island independent in a non-militaristic democratic nation like Panama, they would probably not agree with us doing that, however, it would not be worth it. Remember that funding a invasion is quite a big deal.
A big mistake that Michael Oliver did was that he did it in Tongan waters, and Tonga is a monarchy where the king has power. He also build it in a good fishing area (that might have just been an excuse though).

and the island isn't in Panamas waters?

100 to 1000 soldiers is enough to protect that small Island. As long as it has civilians they won't just bomb in the Island that is violation.  A small navy is enough with missile defense. Just small enough deterrent and media coverage and they will not touch us.

that did not stop the Serbs in slaughtering everyone they found in cities they conquered
923  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prague on: April 07, 2014, 09:07:09 PM
Prague is amazing... went there in summer 2008 when I was 19

Never had so much sex with hot blondes since then.... I was approached by girls in random bars, I thought I was hot stuff at first and then I found out they were hookers. But I didn't mind at all  Shocked

What a blow to your ego! Did you pay them with Bitcoins?

Man if I had bitcoins in 2008 I would be rich as fuck

think about it, then no one thought bitcoins will be worth as much as now

what if somone in 2020. says, damn dude

if I had bitcoins back in 2014. I would be rich as fuck Cheesy

That is my dream buddy... that or I find a time machine to go back to 2009 and spend $10,000 on BTC

Why don't you just make a note of all the winning lottery numbers instead, or go back further and invent Bitcoin?

Winning the lottery is too public, everyone will know me and they'll know me as the lucky guy who didn't deserve any of his money. If I make money investing at least that means I took a risk, saw value in something before everyone else, and I won't be all over the news. I'd rather be a discreet millionaire

As far as inventing bitcoin myself, lol, I dunno who you think I am but i'm no genius like Satoshi that could figure out the programming behind it in a million years. I'm the type who finds opportunities off other genius's work

you can be anonymous when winning a lottery, I don't think you're required to let your information in public

925  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Most Christian Based Country In The World on: April 07, 2014, 09:04:02 PM
Alas, I think I'd have to agree. It's becoming one of the most religiously brainwashed countries. But then again, communism, was just another religionism, and it had to be replaced by something... Some new opium for the masses.

wait, what?

communism was a bastion of atheism, don't know about USSR but in Yugoslavia you couldn't do politics if you were seen in church, it was a great disgrace..
926  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donetsk, Kharkov, Lugansk - way to Russia. on: April 07, 2014, 09:02:10 PM
Donetsk as populated with Ukranians and Russians who settled there in the USSR might be the new Vukovar if a war escaltes..

let's pray to god it won't  Undecided
927  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Looking Back at NATO's ‘Humanitarian’ Bombing of Yugoslavia on: April 07, 2014, 08:57:21 PM
Serbia was trying to get a hold on Kosovo and NATO made an intervention boming bridges and making Serbs know they will not take the region which is 97% populated with Albanians, a lot of nations had enough of serbian agression, it has been enough

nothing stopped them, they ethnicaly cleansed Srebrenica (8000 civilians) in Bosnia&Herzegovina, ethnically cleansed Vukovar from over a 1000 people, who said they wouldn't do the same in Kosovo as they realized the Albanians are making them trouble?

The intervention was necessary, after they did this to Croatia

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvuH8HUiLo4

they had to be stopped in the beginning of their attack on Kosovo so it does not repeat again

930  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I miss the Soviet Union. on: April 07, 2014, 08:46:48 PM
Here is a comparison of the USSR and the Russian Fed (RF)

USSR:

1. No immigration from parasite states to Moscow and other cities
2. Free healthcare, but long queues.
3. No corruption among cops, and other public servants. But lot of corruption among the top Communist officials.

RF:

1. Moscow and other cities are now coping with millions of non-white immigrants
2. Expensive healthcare
3. Cops, doctors, nurses.... everyone is corrupt.

So people DO miss the Soviet Union...

there will always be people who miss it, mostly ethnic Russians and Serbians but others who were in the USSR and Yugoslavia despise it

there are people who like it but are mostly mixed between nations in that country and they still consider themselvs USSRs citzens or Yugoslavs

good thing, they're a minority Smiley

933  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will 1 Bitcoin will Reach 1 million usd one day? on: April 07, 2014, 08:39:47 PM
If 21 million people need to store $1 million, a Bitcoin must be worth $1 million

The problem is that there are only 10,000,000 millionaires in the world right now.

But there is a lot other people too Wink

yep, we have potentional to reach the price

we just need to increase the demand, slowly but steadily Smiley
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.6 HARDFORK MANDATORY UPDATE on: April 07, 2014, 08:37:06 PM
the halving might not increase the price but on May 2nd the Doge Nascar car is going to drive  in public, that will probably increase our price Smiley
935  Other / Off-topic / Re: Taxes on business that accept bitcoins on: April 07, 2014, 08:33:57 PM
Also depends on your country and it's own domestic tax policies.  Here in the UK, for example, HMRC have decided that Bitcoin isn't subject to VAT, but is subject to corporation and income tax.  Everywhere will have different guidelines, so you'll be better off doing your own research, as people here might give you the wrong advice for your particular region.

okay, thanks Smiley

936  Other / Off-topic / Re: They say Space is a vaccumm? on: April 07, 2014, 08:32:30 PM
exacly Cheesy

for example, most of planets have lots of gasses so they aren't vacuum, but most of the interplanetary space is vacuum, as yntro said vacuum is the space without air, not empty space!

938  Other / Off-topic / Re: Superman vs Spiderman epic battle who will win? on: April 07, 2014, 08:22:42 PM
Comicbook writers have to dumb down superman because otherwise he could win 99,9% of all fights Tongue

no Cheesy

spiderman just brings some kryptonite and R.I.P superman Cheesy
Where would Spidey get it from? Tongue
This would be stupid - can't use tools in such fight.

Superman might bring a machine gun and just turn spidey into swiss chese, or burn him with a flamethrower Cheesy

the spidey could do the same

kryptonite isn't a tool, it's a god damn rock Cheesy

besides he has spidey sense, superman however does not, he's more agile and could easily avoid being hit by superman

If superman just grabs spidey - he's dead. Superman is far stronger, and could just break his neck with 1 hand or burn him with his eyes, or just fly to space to suffocate him. What can spidey do?

he can't fly to space with him because spidey can grab building with his web therefore maintaining his positions on earth

he can't just break his neck with 1 hand because spiderman has the spider sense and therefore would know superman is attacking him and could dodge the attack and place a new counter attack on superman

superman is stronger but spiderman is faster and more agile

strenght means shit, just as in real world, it takes only a small portion in a fight

besides spiderman can just get superman tangled inside his web and kick his sorry ass..
939  Other / Off-topic / Re: The current path our leaders *banksters* are taking us on on: April 07, 2014, 08:16:17 PM
looks like Peter Griffin on 0:18 when he stepped on that bug

not sure how he made a piano out of an elephant but okay

the ending is really funny Cheesy
