I have a machine with a quadcore and 2 nvidia video cards and I cant get bfgminer to run i get this error

Quote
clDevicesNum returned error, no GPUs usable

I'm trying to mine litecoins with it. the nvidia gpus are temporary until my 7900's get here. help please

Your batch file to start bfgminer should look something like this:

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
bfgminer --scrypt -o host:port -u username -p password

And from there you can adjust the other GPU information such as
--lookup-gap <arg>  Set GPU lookup gap for scrypt mining, comma separated
--shaders <arg>     GPU shaders per card for tuning scrypt, comma separated
--thread-concurrency <arg> Set GPU thread concurrency for scrypt mining, comma separated

Then try running it

Same result.

49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Mulitple miners on one network question on: November 24, 2013, 07:56:30 AM
I have a few miners on my home network. Is it possible to have it connect to a central proxy of sorts and direct the work to a pool of my choice? What I want to do is be able to change what coin I am mining without having to go to each machine and change it. Would the stratum proxy work for this? I dont think I have enough computers to have an effective private pool. Ideas?

When I get home from work I will make one real fast. You said Debian so I assumed that's what you wanted.

Your best bet is this software. https://github.com/pooler‎. I use it at home and it is really simple to setup on Ubuntu server. This page will give you the step by step http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?topic=321.0‎. If you have issues dont hesitate to PM me.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: any ltc pool using Getwork on: November 18, 2013, 07:53:14 AM
It is extremely easy to run a stratum proxy and then it opens up a world of different pools to you. If you need help PM me and I would be more than glad to guide you on it.

How much storage space and what transfer limits? What web programming languages do you support?

Does it work with other coins? I would love to have a bot to manage my goldcoins, litecoins and feathercoins. They fluctuate more than the wind outside.
