I am going to continue to solo mine until we are close to block 420.

Can not lose really as at the moment, with the blocks, I am not even getting anything in the shares as my hashrate is so low.

It has been a really nice launch though.

Good luck to all of you and getting all your pieces of 42 coins and thanks to OP for making it possible.

^^This^^

Aiming my crappy gfx cards at RPC and my megahasher at solo'ing 42. Gotta go to work now, wish me luck!

Great coin launch BTW. This is how it is supposed to be done!  Cool

Sucks getting so many shares yet the pool software can't show mill-42's. All that mining for nothing.
Only the big hashers are showing any.

i only got 70k for 500kh's and i have been mining since the first seconds. ( till now)
had https://coye.pool.pm/ as main pool (and some others as bk up) how much coins of my coins do u think i got at that pool?
and any new on it yet? like when its bk up

Holy crap bud. You got severely burned!
You should be sitting on at least a million COYE by now.

You would have had better luck going solo!

I had 53k with 1000kh's on IcyHash's pool meanwhile he kept spamming the forum that he's pool is stable fast and great. These people really.. sadly I started the miner and went to sleep because i'm GMT and had to work today.

And then here I am getting 1.3 million COYE off of Icyhash! Mind you most of that was before the server issues he had. I had to reset my miners separately in order to reconnect to Icy, but it eventually worked.

I can't say this surprises me at all...

I have proof that COYE is a scamcoin. I work as a member of the support team for an exchange (I'm not going to mention which one) and this was sent via email about an hour ago to our support system.

We have a huge collection of Coinyecoin (COYE) Would you please put it on your exchange. Also would you be open to letting us list our sell orders first. We would be willing to split some profits with you. Smiley

SWEET!!! Who the fuck would buy this stupid coin.

This is all hearsay. No proof. No links. Nothing. It's like me saying president Obama endorses this coin. Nice try

i have the proof. trust me or not.

Please post it. I need a good laugh before going to bed!  Cheesy

IDK what you peeps are talking about. Icyhash went down for a while but they were one of the first pools to get on blocks. I made 90% of my coins in the first 15min there!
Icy's working fine now.
I think he just wanted to see how many users can mine there before something broke! j/k All is good.

Someone please help me with config file.

rpcuser=any
rpcpassword=x
rpcport=7777
addnode=37.187.93.104
addnode=23.253.71.20
addnode=94.242.254.73
addnode=24.20.187.178
addnode=37.59.31.34
addnode=37.59.54.28
addnode=62.212.72.31
server=1
daemon=1

Ok still not working. "No available connections to network". I saved as coinye.conf in my Appdata/Roaming/Coinyecoin folder. How can I add individual nodes in console? Is it just "addnode 37.187.93.104 add" because I did that and I get method error.

This works for me:

Code:
rpcuser=coinye
rpcpassword=coins
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=7777
addnode=37.187.93.104
addnode=23.253.71.20
addnode=94.242.254.73
addnode=24.20.187.178
addnode=37.59.31.34
addnode=37.59.54.28
addnode=62.212.72.31
server=1
daemon=1

Then cgminer .bat file(you will need to adjust the scrypt at the end to match your settings tho. these are mine):

Code:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
cgminer.exe -o http://127.0.0.1:7777 -u coinye -p coins --scrypt -I 13,18 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192

This is what I hate about low difficulty high block reward hype coins. First person mining gets a gazillion coins then difficulty rises so hard everyone else gets screwed

Hate? This is what I love!
Its a race. Sometime you win (I nailed 1.2mill in the first few min.) and sometimes you lose (I got hosed on DOGE. Slept through launch.)

I do this for fun... and sometimes you get a few satoshi's out of it.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye Coin - Launch: JANUARY 7, 2014. 7 PM PST on: January 08, 2014, 04:13:58 AM
Icyhash seems to have just went down.

Edit: Back up again.

Stand by. I'm trying to get the load under control. The database is getting pounded.

Load? You almost gained 1000 users! That's a lot of miners and workers!

http://www.pcworld.com/article/2085360/kanye-west-moves-to-block-coinye-a-digital-currency-he-inspired.html

The makers of Coinye, however, do not seem deterred. In fact, they are advancing their launch date from Jan. 11 to 10 p.m. Eastern time Tuesday, “due to legal pressure,” their website states. “We want to get this into the hands of the public—after that, it’s peer to peer and unstoppable,” they said in their email.

Oboy....bend over fellas.....this is going to get interesting

Bend over and take it in the West end...

Nya, nya nyanya, nya!!
