1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: February 18, 2021, 07:50:52 PM
Starting today using 5.5c and AMD Radeon V56, started to get clSetKernelArg (-48) on startup, before today it was fine. The only way was to use -clKernel 0 for it to work. Is there anything I can do to use the optimized clkernel 1 instead of the generic -clKernel 0 instead?

The fact that stakers earn dividends on all trades is the reason why you see more than half of the supply being staked. Stakers earn dividends without having to keep an eye on the contract at all. This is a swing trader's dream. Stake half your stash and swing trade the other. Earn dividends while you trade.  Grin

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade Your Privacy to ₿itcoin? on: December 24, 2019, 10:01:42 PM
Your private info is already being sold all over the place without you knowing. If there was an opportunity to monetize your own data the way that Google sells everything they know about you, probably want to look into it.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: December 24, 2019, 09:59:27 PM
What if the economy revolved around a smart contract and the smart contract had a bug in it that a hacker can explore to drain the economy. Whether Crypto or Fiat, it is just a store of value. You still have to have systems in place to maintain and secure that value.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto A Way To become Rich / Millionaire ? on: December 31, 2018, 07:36:21 AM
Crypto is still a way to get wealthy if you invest in the right projects. It is like when the internet first came out with all the dot com companies. 95% of those companies didn't not pan out, but if you invested in companies like Amazon and Google that survived you would be rich. So be the one that finds the Amazon and Google of crypto and hodl it like crazy.

12  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: November 27, 2018, 09:25:14 PM
I would step ladder my buys now. We're close to the bottom, but I think we have one more massive dump before the whales come in and scoop up all the cheap bitcoins then push it back up. So I would recommend buy a little now 20% - 25%, then when it dips another 20% - 25% so on and so forth. You may not get the absolute bottom, but you won't miss the ride up and cost average your way down.

14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction from 'Experts' on: November 24, 2018, 08:14:23 AM
It's a self fulfilling prophecy. Predictions like this makes everyone sell or not buy until the predicted levels.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ways of making money in crypto currency on: November 24, 2018, 08:12:23 AM

Wipe your computer completely and reinstall everything from scratch. He probably has a trojan into your system and everything is exposed. Be glad that it's just crypto and not your bank accounts.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: November 23, 2018, 09:28:25 AM
Ethereum needs to up their Transactions per second. With each new Dapp or ERC 20 token that comes on, that just puts additional load on the Ethereum network.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GoNetwork - ICO by Winners of ETHWaterloo - World's Largest ETH Hackathon! on: June 19, 2018, 05:58:17 AM

20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The principle of trading on: April 28, 2018, 08:42:03 PM
There is only one rule, buy low and sell high. If you can do that with a discipline trading method, you will always win.
