1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: September 10, 2014, 05:57:15 PM
~ trimmed large quote explaining marketplace feature via console ~

A question for the devs :

Is it safe to assume this process will be streamlined in 0.1.5 or 0.1.6? What about through outside development like was posted a while back? (I forget who posted it) I'm kind of assuming it will be streamlined, but I just wanted to ask. At face value using syscoin looks like more of a hassle than using a darknet marketplace, so naturally people will opt out of using syscoin for the time being.

100% these features will be streamlined in the wallet. Right now its looking like 0.1.6 will be the update which contains those changes as we need to update the roadmap around 0.1.5 as we made more progress than expected and thus will have a 0.1.5 release out AHEAD of the marketplaces release. This will change 0.1.6 to being the marketplaces "marketing" release we will include interfaces in the wallet for marketplace interaction, web examples/interfaces (which we already have working but we're trying to improve them before calling them "done") and there will also be a number of enhancements to the "offers" services themselves in the 0.1.6 release and its related marketing effort.

Roadmap will be updated as soon as we have a hard date for the new 0.1.5 release and there will be an associated blog post.

The big topic we were discussing today within the team is how to create an item for sale and rather than pricing it in SYS, price it in a currency that is then converted to SYS using exchange-rates at the time of offerpay. This way people could sell an item and know they were getting the correct amount of SYS regardless of market price at the time of listing the item.

Great! rather late than a broken feature. when its out it should be 100%working and be one of a kind

the idea seems interesting, but your domain doesn't look attractive.

Hi, a small suggestion. I think the minimum purchase of 0.1BTC is a bit high for some people. Most of us who follow this thread have been very much aware of syscoin and were very much looking forward to invest, so we had time to allot funds for the presale.
But for some who are new to syscoin would like only to invest a little. the current min.purchase could put-off small investors. I think a lower min.purchase would ensure wider and fair distribution. If you would ask me i'll suggest you to go as low as 0.01BTC

From the block explorer on main page.

Mined block 1 = Received: 116425.6562 AR = http://ar.blockexplorer.cc/address/ARTr1uAmJWUzEZTwtEN2VTivzN2h9RQwvq
Mined block 2 = Received: 16256.662026 AR = http://ar.blockexplorer.cc/address/AMMtMmp1ZJ7CKL6PZR1E4osPcvNwaqEb7X
Mined block 3 = Received: 16632.444199 AR = http://ar.blockexplorer.cc/address/Aest94YNxsBLgwNdes2tSzoRFaaybjQaz8
Mined block 4 = Received: 22698.861861 AR = http://ar.blockexplorer.cc/address/ARUZcziuENopdVKUsv8nn8K7aQC7pEhCo2
Mined block 5 = Received: 15572.462711 AR = http://ar.blockexplorer.cc/address/Aa74LksnHcaeAvipFujYy1Gw8UkChxu5ZV

I told you this was 110% unfair and i got flamed. 5 addresses solo mining from start, I gave up finding the 6th one

Even if these addresses belong to the devs, you mean to say that devs shouldn't mine their own coins?. It doesn't prove anything like premine or instamine. It only shows the dev has so much faith in his own coin and wanted to mine it like everyone else. If he had mined with a huge hashrate(rented or own), then i salute him for he has invested much more than everyone else.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XFC] Finercoin丨X11丨POW+POS丨Anon wallet丨Launched June 26 on: July 03, 2014, 11:57:41 AM
If this is pure fud, its fucking epic.

Hoping it is just that and the dev chimes in.

I for one am holding to see what happens over the next few days.  No point stop lossing at this point, it has dropped too far.

I think the dev saw that the trolls were going to keep attacking, so he decided to join them, and actually beat them at their own game. Yeah it's epic...
Of course I'm guessing just like everyone else...no one knows for sure except the dev himself.

I cant imagine that a dev would bring a real working anon coin to market and dump for peanuts...that just doesnt compute.

The anon feature used here is coinjoin mixer. it needs continous funding for servers. and if it ever gets bigger in value, then the dev would have to face legal charges for running the coin mixer service which is accounted to cheating. he himself had admitted this in the OP. with all the negative atmosphere here he would've guessed this coin isn't going to get any bigger and so he dumped it all.

As you all may have read in Finerpay or my previous posts, I was asked to negotiate a 30 day holding of about 125k coins with several exchanges. I suggested we ask Cryptsy (who will soon begin to accept fiat currency conversions). No dice. Cryptsy declined very politely and I do not blame them. They are not a babysitter. There is no sign on their lawn that says "Babysitter Storage."

So I went to Mintpal with the same question. Jay said it ain't gonna happen.

I believe in the cause more than the money so I offered Finerpay, 8.5 BTC for 125k XFC. This guarantees that I have to hold the coins until they increase in value or sell them at a significant loss which would be plain stupid.

The developer now has the means to survive while focusing 100% on maintenance and some pretty bad ass new features. We will always be the original winners in the anon race and 10 steps ahead of everyone else. While they trade BarbieDollCoins for SupercoinV3X15 or some other retweeted bullshit coin, our cash can be counted in real life Get Out of Jail Free cards.

Thanks to XFC I can say "Central Bankers, you are dismissed." and fucking mean it.

Some fat cat politicians have Diplomatic Immunity. I now have 125k Diplomatic immunities of my own.

My money is untraceable. What does your coin do?

On a side note If anyone would like to buy 125k XFC, I would be MORE than happy to accept 8.5 BTC for them.

If this had truely happened then the dev would have sold 125K for 8.25 BTC and would've dumped only the the remaining on bittrex. In this case he would be lot more richer now.

But i do have a small doubt that W0rkH0rse could be the dev himself and trying to fool us. But i could be wrong.

The finercoin has 3.5%premine not 1%.He said no premine and laterhid the3.%% during launch. The dev has abondoned the thread and the coin. He had dumped the entire premine and had made fun of the community
