Can someone tell me what price the ICO was at?
Also what does everyone expect the market cap to be after exchange release?
As mean as far as I understand it this coin is pretty revolutionary in that it resolves bloat, storage and scalability issues. All that and more. Surely that's due a huge market cap?

how to buy IOTA... and what price is it compared to the ICO.
I have no idea how I missed this ICO.
I've practically lived on this board for the last 3 years?
how long did this ICO last?
IOTA was announced late October, crowdsale started late November and lasted to late December. We were covered in all the crypto-sites, several of the crypto slacks, so not sure how you missed it either. We didn't have a marketing budget and we didn't want to hype it for months, so we couldn't pull a Ethereum or Augur, but several hundred participated, so I think you must've just been unlucky if you didn't catch it. The best way to acquire IOTA now is to either: 1. Offer some work, community members may put up a bounty or pay for tasks 2. Wait for it to come on exchanges after launch 3. Buy from someone (you should use trusted escrow) Yes, that was unfortunate. So it lasted 27 days? I think such an ambitious and revolutionary product should have had a far larger ICO in terms of length and awareness. It seems very alive on the main board now. I notice nothing else other than IOTA threads. The initial distribution of a token/coin I believe is core to it's acceptance later on. everybody will have a chance to buy it on market |

I can follow your argument. But it is much more complicated to get IOTA tokens when you missed the ICO as I do. I found someone from who I could buy 50k tokens. (S)he offered me to find a trusted escrow. I have to send the money to the escrow and it will hold my Bitcoins until wallet has been released. Then (s)he will send my the tokens and escrow will release my Bitcoin funds. Very complicated this way. It would be much easier to buy NXT and buy some tokens on the platform. Counterparty would have been a more liquid and accessible alternative. Okay, so you do not longer support Nxt, do you? I was wondering why you did not offer IOTA token on the NXT AE, similar to NEM. Come-from-beyond was very active and supportive for Nxt. Wondering if he still support Nxt and consult the Nxt devs?
I quitted Nxt development long time ago. Because of lack of liquidity of the NXTs we did not offer it on the AE (except for through JINN tokens). Nxt is a fine project, but at the end of the day if the tokens got no liquidity a real company can't do anything with it. but that person doesnt risk anything; if IOTA price will be higher then your offer he will sell it on market, and you get back your BTC from escrow and pay fee. The only right way is that you and person that have tokens send BTC to escorow and when when seller send tokens gets BTC back |

Look at decred: it offers nothing new, more of the same, not even a functional gui, and is now priced 0.002 on the exchanges. Offering IOTA for .00001 is crazy... you're giving it for free... But there are much less Decred existing than IOTA´s 47,610047 times less, but what is important is mc IOTA mc will be much higher then a DCR mc, but who knows. I have IOTA's, i have DCR and i'm not selling it. Big difference between IOTA and DCR is that IOTA is new tech, DCR isn't. i'm long time holder |

ETH will be new Facebook( and whales know it), BTC is like MySpace. Even with 100 USD per ETH, it will be only about 8 billions market cap, it is nothing on global level. Facebook is currently almost 300 billion. So 1 ETH = 100 USD very possible in not distant future.

One question:
When participating at the aidrop I wrote down the Hex, the Adress and a other long code, but not the 34 words wallet seed.
Is it possible for me to get my Airdrop coins without this 34 words? I was thinking the 34 words are just a backup when I lost my password.

You've made a big mistake of not backing up your seed. It is the most important of them all. You won't be able to get your airdrop coins for sure. Yeah, it was quite a hastle to wrote down the 34 words in English. I think Copy Paste was not possible. But that was a very expensive laziness by me. So not sure where to go to find the answer so I thought you guys could answer or point me in the right direction. I lost my ether wallet with over 300 ether in it  I backed up my appdata/ethereum folder but I did not back up my appdata/mist folder is there any hope? I was using windows then reformatted to ex4 to install ubuntu. you got json file on your e-mail, then go to www.myetherwallet.com, select wallet file (json from mail) write password and you got it |
