So not sure where to go to find the answer so I thought you guys could answer or point me in the right direction.

I lost my ether wallet with over 300 ether in it Sad

I backed up my appdata/ethereum folder but I did not back up my appdata/mist folder

is there any hope?  I was using windows then reformatted to ex4 to install ubuntu.

Do you still have the address of your wallet?

ETH will never surpass bitcoin

Bitcoin is it's largest source of liquidity so when bitcoin sneezes, all ETH holders catch the flu

Bitcoin is Ethereums father.

ETH devs just pumping to pull in more bitcoins before halving pump

Its a mirage

Do you mean the Ether developers think the price of bitcoin will be higher after halving so they pump the Ether to sell and buy bitcoin instead?

Well, if you look at the charts it can't really go to the left.

ETH will be new Facebook( and whales know it), BTC is like MySpace. Even with 100 USD per ETH, it will be only about 8 billions market cap, it is nothing on global level. Facebook is currently almost 300 billion. So 1 ETH = 100 USD very possible in not distant future.

Probably not the best entry point right now, just a matter of time until it falls back down to below to just above where it was a couple of days ago, think I'll hang on until then to get back in.

I am really impressed with this rise. Volume is looking good. We might have another leg up.

People will think the exchange is going AWOL and there will be a stampede against the exit.

YEAAAAAAAA BACK TO .01 YOU GREEDY BULLTARD N00BS ;p ;p

Seems the laws of economics & gravity aren't science-fiction after all hehe

Wonder if we'll get a fat, disorderly dump to .008, kinda like the dump from .007 to .00485 a couple weeks ago. I sold my 'caught knife' too early on, in the FOMO stampede cat-bounce that had followed that one..

[Disclaimer : I bought a bunch @ .0117, thinking chart was showing leg-up continuing, but I still love a good bear rhape - it reassures that no matter how insanely good this* is, logic & laws of supply/demand must still exist Wink]

Oh well.
