Thank you for the note.
Is everything ok on your end? I notice right after I put in my order that your website says sales are closed. Does this just mean that I got one of the last ones? I had a friend who wanted to buy one last night, got worried that you're not ok.

So we decided to get a coin rolling and it got a lot of enthusiasm in the Israeli Bitcoin community. As you must know, the Israeli Bitcoin community is one of the largest and most active communities in the world. We want to start the genesis block today, the 3rd of January 2014, 5 years after Bitcoin's genesis block.

"As you must know, the Israeli Bitcoin community is one of the largest and most active communities in the world"

Well that should alert every Gentile around here. So essentially, this is a Zionist coin? Is that what I'm hearing? Will it be used to sell Zionist racism and globalism?

As it says in the Talmud:

Baba Kamma 113a. Jews may use lies ("subterfuges") to circumvent a Gentile.

And my personal favorites:

Sanhedrin 59a: "Murdering Goyim is like killing a wild animal."

Abodah Zara 26b: "Even the best of the Gentiles should be killed."

Sanhedrin 59a: "A Goy (Gentile) who pries into the law (Talmud) is guilty of death."

Yeah, let's jump on the Israeli coin everyone!  Lips sealed

When I think alpha. I think aloha wolf or alpha and omega. Something godly a bad ass anime wolf or something. I'm not a web designer or anything but I am self employed with time to blow.

Rather, think Huxley's New World Order (Brave New World) with Alphas, Betas, Deltas and Epsilons. It's the theme for global control. Alpha TV shows with crazy people with magical powers -always selling the garbage.
47  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: December 29, 2013, 10:35:32 PM

Thats good to know. 30 kbps is nothing. Is it normal to connect the cube to the wireless router, or does it have to be on the modem (I have a cable connection and am connecting my cube to the wireless router).

Definitely sounds like you have enough power.

I have mine connected to my wireless router, too.  Are you having any problems with other devices while the Cube is on?

Some people reported that turning off the WiFi on their Android phones helped fix problems with their Cube.  It's worth a shot... Undecided

I have been having some issues off and on with my CUBEs. I have 4 total and all of them would work great for a long period of time then out of no where start having problems and only running at about 4 GH. I came across this post and checked all of my cell phones. The one older android cell phone my little one uses to play on and watch netflix on was connected to the wifi. Once i powered the phone off my hash rates went back up and seem to be working again. both stratum proxys ( BFGminer and Slushpool ) both seem to be working again also. I by passed this issue by running a second wireless router to keep my wireless devices separated.

I've had my Cube for 2 weeks, got it from Bitcoinrigs.org - it came 10 days late, and at first I couldn't get it up and running because the guy recommended and LINKED me to the totally wrong PSU.. That issue solved, I got the thing up and running 2 PSUs later. But thankfully during the week the first one was down I looked through the grill and saw a lose screw. I opened up the unit to find 12 lose screws on 3 of the blades - 2 cooling fins so loose that they were just hanging there and not touching the PCB board. On tightened up the 12 screws, now it's running in the other room but no luck on the overclocking.

On top of all of that, after 3 or 4 days the stupid fan was already going bad. I'll be replacing it soon.

I know of one other person who lost 10 chips in the first week because of the above problems. Everyone should open these systems and check every screw, re-seat everything, and make sure it's all solid before you turn it on the first time. They're cranking them out and they're put together by slave Chinese workers who don't give a damn.

Right now it's on a 1000w Strider Gold Evolution by Silverstone. Anyone know if this thing still can't power the machine? It says it's got a 12v rail and lots of power. Why can't I overclock?

As I said previously:

If all of this was written clearly on page one, no one would take up your time asking questions and attempting to get clarification.

That's alright. I don't need the constant condescending attitude. No one was like this when I learned to mine protoshares and primecoin. People wanted new people to learn. I really don't get this business model here. You know, I also have a radio show and have been spending weeks trying to get my head around the entire cryptocoin thing.

It really, really sucks when you're treated like a new Linux user. Everyone needs to be on Linux - its free and promotes freedom, so we're going to give vague answers and be dicks when people want and ask for sincere help to get involved, causing more frustration and quitters than people who want to get involved and help to spread the word.

I can't get this thing to synch. I've followed the instructions... nothing. It hooked up to one other server for like a minute and then dropped that. I've added nodes, added files, etc... trying to follow the vague instructions provided.

Do we do the addnodes to the shortcuts of the qt, or only to some server file that we have to hunt down? I couldn't find a miner.bat file that you had referenced.

You put the addnodes in your %appdata%/Spots/spots.conf

Miner.bat is what you use to launch cgminer

Thank you. So I don't see a spots.conf file there.

BTW, I've always wanted to ask who decides that those files should be placed there? I have to move those files all the time and redirect them. For bitcoin they're 13-22gb, and when you try to image your system, it makes the files huge. It seems that users should be given the option on install where all those files go.

But I was trying to use the qt wallet to mine as on page 1. Is that not possible anymore? I've only mind a few coins, so I'm rather new to the whole process.

Where does one get the cgminer?

You have to make spots.conf to launch spots-qt.exe with -server

Ok, well thank you. But that's sort of vague. So then if I go to console and do a setgenerate true 8 or what ever, that won't work?

so I create a spots.conf file... what, exactly, would it say inside, just addnode=ip ? or are there other things in there?

How come these two files don't exist already just to synch the wallet?

I posted steps on the previous page yesterday. Here they are:

1) Make a .bat in your Spots folder that says "spots-qt.exe -server" without the quotes
2) Make a .conf file in %appdata%/Spots/spots.conf saying this to load your QT as a server:
(You can use any user/pass/port you want as long as they match your mining .bat)

rpcuser=x
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=8108
server=1
gen=0

addnode=96.2.111.139
addnode=67.167.228.42
addnode=69.85.86.195
addnode=68.103.6.158
addnode=71.187.248.95
addnode=70.69.238.84
addnode=108.185.218.246
addnode=70.98.114.229
addnode=p2pool.org

Let it sync (it may take a while)

3) Make a .bat for your miner (or use config files) to point it to 127.0.0.1:8018 (or the user/port/pass you used in your config)

4) Make money!

Hope this helps

Yes, I already read that, which refers to an already existing mining.bat file, that you said is from the cgminer... I was asking specific questions above. I don't know where to put this miner.bat file, where to download the cgminor, etc. Previously the last addnode wasn't in the instructions - the p2pool.org, so that helps a little more.

It's like trying to get in and understand Linux. Everyone assumes you're an expert, and few are willing to break the instructions down to point by point so that everyone can easily understand.

But again, that didn't answer why those files aren't already in there, etc. I mean, I'm trying to understand why to create all these files and spend all this time to get started on this coin?

You have to do this for all coins if you want to solo mine them. After your first time, it only takes about 1 minute to do it for a new coin

Download cgminer and make a .bat with this in it:

cgminer -o 127.0.0.1:8108 -u x -p x --scrypt

It will launch cgminer using your wallet as the server if you did spots.conf correctly

Not to be a dick, but... http://bit.ly/19Irv3m

Not to be a dick, but as I said previously, I'm new to this. Only mined a couple coins, neither of which needed CGMINER, which is why I asked. I wouldn't know to google search that without the prior info. If all of this was written clearly on page one, no one would take up your time asking questions and attempting to get clarification. I was looking around for some .bat file that doesn't exist.

I very much appreciate you finally taking the time to be a little more clear with us newbs trying to mine this. Is this your coin? I would think you'd want everyone in so that it does well. Why waste time with poor instructions? A program that's not ready to use, or doesn't already have these files included in the zip? Seems a lot of wasted time all around. Allow you experts to scan through CLEAR instructions and allow the rest of us to go point by point. Raspberry pi in the Linux world seems to get that approach - so that millions of new users want to use their product. But I fail to understand the value in this vague approach and assuming everyone knows what you're taking about. Does it save any time? Whose? Yours?

In number one, is the file supposed to be NAMED "spots-qt.exe -server.bat" without the quotes? Or is this supposed to be INSIDE this file created, as "spots-qt.exe -server" - without the quotes? and the file named just .bat?
2) Make a .conf file in %appdata%/Spots/spots.conf saying this to load your QT as a server:
(You can use any user/pass/port you want as long as they match your mining .bat)

Again, where is the cgminer? Again, can we or can we not use the wallet to mine? Some miners, such a Joulecoin, have  program CALLED CGMINER that must be download someplace. Is there such a file to download?

Sorry, but your instructions are not very clear. Maybe that's why so many seem to be having issues. I'm just trying to get clarity here.

Oh, and as I was attempting to get my bank account verified to withdraw my money, they changed the amount I could withdraw from $10k per day to $1k, so now, even AFTER they verify the account, which they still haven't done, it's going to take an ADDITIONAL several days at $1000 per day! So 3 weeks to get my funds from this garbage website? Vs. 3 days from Russia out of BTC-e.com. MT.Gox must be a joke.

Just to get my account verified, I had to email them a dozen times... the idiots couldn't read that the utility bill that I submitted had BOTH my street address and PO Box on it, and of course they don't accept PO Boxes, but they're not intelligent enough to state this fact ANYPLACE.
57  Economy / Service Discussion / Is MT.Gox a total joke? on: November 16, 2013, 06:36:03 PM
I just want to complain about this website. These people took 2 weeks to verify my account with Thousands of dollars stuck in it. Then they've taken several days to verify my bank account. They're incredibly slow, unresponsive, and lack standard business ethics. What's the deal with this site? The #1 trading site? Is that for real? Why? I got my money out of BTC-e without effort or trouble. Why would ANYONE do business with MT.Gox? I've got to know.

Hi, I'm a newb. I've started doing mining and all this week, first with Prime, and then Protoshare coins.

I downloaded the Protoshare wallet from the right place. I've added all the "addnode <IP#> add" listed on this page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=325261.0

addnode 162.243.67.4 add
addnode 162.243.54.126 add
addnode 37.139.29.236 add
addnode 64.90.183.137 add
addnode 180.183.205.118 add

I've installed the software on mutliple computers with the same result. I've tried to email the Invictus guys to see if they could help but no reply.

I've tried to send my Ypool Protoshare coins from my mining to my wallet and they never showed up. The green check mark at the bottom has never shown up. It sits at one hour for days. Have I lost all the coins I've mined that I tried to send to my wallet? Why is everyone else able to synch up by mine sits for days? I used Ypool because the wallet would never sync in the first place.
