Right - but I don't think we are assuming that cex.io is a bad actor here... In fact, it doesn't seem to be in their best interest to damage the ecosystem.
...just like one would assume that all the hordes joining ghash.io would know better.... Fair, but there is a difference between assuming that the miners would know better and that cex.io will act in a way to preserve their own business. Why lose profit today for potential profit tomorrow? Because the discount rate is so low?  |

Why don't we just petition cex.io to split ghah.io into two separate pools? Would that not solve the problem?
The only way that would solve the problem is if both pools were operated completely independently and didn't take orders from cex.io. Right - but I don't think we are assuming that cex.io is a bad actor here... In fact, it doesn't seem to be in their best interest to damage the ecosystem. |

i had a casascius coin shipped registered mail to that address with the name Kim Nguyen which is supposed to require an ID to accept paypal email was kimbeenguyen@hotmail.comMakes more sense... here is my sig confirm... he told me it was his neighbors kid...

I agree, however we are going to wait a couple of hours. This is now more then one person, and we can take our time... He didn't abscond with hundreds of thousands... its not enough to ruin his life over, but we've got enough now that, if he doesn't honor it, his life will become very annoying. So we wait a day... He might just have been (god forbid) in an accident and not be able to get online or something. While I am stupid and too trusting, I also am not going to run right to the police and open a complaint until a least a day has passed. |

My buyer is saying the coin looks tampered with. Will update as soon as I see it in person. That would be on you then since you were the last one to handle the coin. I never took the coin out of the airtite it was in when Mike shipped it to me. |
