What does the new white line on bitcoinwisdom represent?

What new line? I don't see it..  Huh

Screenshot?

probably the difference between the  bid ask sum

idk clueless they don't have documentation  somewhere?

Neat, I am hoping it is directionality based on walls or perhaps a trend line Smiley.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 15, 2013, 02:44:49 AM
Its the world's slowest (or bitcoins slowest) crash with ask an ask mountain growing, pressing against the bid walls, and inching the price down dollar by dollar. Maybe it gets faster if daily averages cross.

this is very normal behavior after tons of volatile

the pungle will be soon!

quickly sell ME your bitcoins today!

lol

I am scared of the pungle.   Will it hurt me?   I imagine it looks like this.

Ok I'm going out. Good luck tomorrow bears. I expect to see a mini crash about 24 hours from now, maybe if your lucky you'll get gox down to mid 800s and stamp etc to 800. I hope you don't manage it! And you know Monday it's up uP UP.

Last Sunday we had a rally. Just sayin'

This means we crash hard on Sunday Smiley.   Bitcoin don't care what you try to predict.   The future tells past performance to get the heck out of here.

I like Risto, if he is all braggadocio then that is fine by me.   He is still fun to read and I hope to meet him at the BTC 1k party Smiley.
85  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: announcement: the international "when-bitcoin-reaches 1000,- $ party" on: December 14, 2013, 04:40:25 AM
To save money on lodging, we should just have a giant slumber party. We can gossip, try on makeup, and compare our moobs (man boobs).

I have no man boobs.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone though.   I have been reading the forums for so long you are all like my crazy extended family Smiley

86  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-12-13 Market Watch - Fidelity halts bitcoin investments on: December 13, 2013, 07:02:55 PM
I think the story is not quite right.   My sources at Fidelity said something more along the lines of "we are still researching/reviewing."
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 13, 2013, 06:18:31 PM
My suggestion for whales who want to see Bitcoin succeed.

Note the following, we are heading into a holiday period where gifts are exchanged.   Many are now providing Bitcoin as gifts to newbies.   If you want to impress the newbies with Bitcoin then you would provide a nice gradual ramp through March so that they can see how awesome a deflationary/scarce currency can be Smiley.

Tis the season to drive massive uptake.   Let's make the devs and miners work to keep up with the TPS!

Paid!

BTW, the process was quite smooth although I was a bit confused by the print before the pay button.   I see the transaction has already been swept into another account and I now have 1 mBTC in the wallet provided.

I hope you ain't mad that I will only buy the ticket when we're into the 27th day of the required btc-average.

not at all.

but if everyone tries to pay as late as possible it will make things complicated for us. this is crowdfunding...

on the other hand, if you pay early and the party does not fly, you will get refunded.

Can I suggest that if late payments create unnecessary complications that you start raising the price after you have reached a comfortable size audience?   this will create incentive to buy in early vs. late.     Being up front about this may help.   In the least you should consider raising the price by 100 mBTCs every day after the threshold is reached.

if slowly falling on low volume is bullish, is the opposite bearish?

Trick question.  They are both bullish with Bitcoin.
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 13, 2013, 12:32:23 AM
it is being shipped to Missouri, im here on holiday.

Missouri?  I have been to almost all of the States and that is not typically a major tourist destination. Wink
i was in kansas city recently, i dont recommend it to anyone

Kansas always seem to crop up doing Bitcoin type things.   I wonder if that is all Goat's influence?

I'm not sure that any campaign will work if the company is set on not accepting Bitcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195299.0

This is true.  That said, you have to try and there are certainly times when the data does speak.  In this case it is not just fidelity it is also all of those eyeballs looking at that chart.   We want those eyeballs to think (wow, this is something real).

Edit, adding the new poll results...   Nice progress!

I just spoke with a reliable source at Fidelity.

"They are still reviewing and don't have a timeframe"   They certainly were not closing doors to this.   It sounds like a few "beta" customers are in place right now.

Should work but I suggest looking for "bitcoin fund raises" then looking to the right and taking the poll.  I suggest doing the search instead of using the link as you can see that the link has some unique identifiers in it.

Thanks to the speculation forum user "wachtwoord"  for finding this and raising it!

this poll is not scientific.   In fact, it is a measure of our passion if we don't go in and vote for it.   Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 12, 2013, 10:16:09 PM

This means having influencing the poll , so the votes will mean nothing.
Like having a vote on torrentfreak about the legality of file sharing.

Can't agree more  Cheesy

In fact, those who know polling would point to our anemic community if we did not vote passionately for the right thing.
