841  Other / Off-topic / Re: New Gmail Feature to send $ through email... on: April 19, 2014, 11:06:13 AM
Was just sending an email from my corporate email...and noticed a new pop-up inside the gmail compose box...It is now allowing to send $ through email.  Have you guys seen or tried this?

I doubt Google is planning on being left in the dust by bitcoin...they are definitely either contemplating its integration, or trying to create their own I am sure...

Do you have a screenshot?  I don't see anything, although I assume they are rolling it out in stages.

My comp won't let me screenshot it Sad.   It is because I have to be hovering over the area with my mouse in order for the "$" to pop up.  When I go to do a screen shot it disappears...

You just click "Print screen" button on the keyboard and C + V into Paint or any other program and there you have a screen shot of it. If i understand it right that should work. Wink

Exactly It doesn't matter. Don't give such questions to yourself, they wont change anything. Just be wide-minded and live it!
843  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone else feel like Bitcoin is a safe investment? on: April 19, 2014, 10:40:37 AM
All my fiat's value is simply being eroded by inflation and if the UK government defaults on its huge amounts of debt, the £ could be worth next to nothing.

Yeah, Bitcoin fluctuates but the risk of a total collapse of Bitcoin seems less likely than fiat currencies when you think about it.

There are no safe profitable investments. We here investing in BTC all risk.
844  Economy / Economics / Re: Any strategy for increasing your BTC holdings? on: April 19, 2014, 10:38:33 AM
I have read many great threads lately about slow exit strategies for BTC (SSS). What strategies are used when buying BTC or increasing your BTC holdings?

You can increase your BTC holdings buy converting it to LTC when the LTC/BTC ratio is low, and then flipping to back to BTC when the ratio is higher.

Yes, just like in FIAT currency FOREX. Or actually when BTC price isnt very stable you can Flip FIAT/BTC too...

Trading Alt coins, investing, gambling. All of these options has a risk factor.
847  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now bitcoin $470 on: April 19, 2014, 07:16:38 AM
It will rise again, just not as fast as nov/dec

Yes, i'm almost sure this is not 2-3 days question. We will see bitcoin situation in atleast 2 weeks , there still might be bad hits for the price but it recovers.
848  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now bitcoin $470 on: April 19, 2014, 07:13:25 AM
Since this time round it peaked at $520. How long will it drop now?

depends on how important the chinese bitcoin enthusiasts  feel about not being able to use banks to xfer fiat to a bitcoin exhchange

people that are already into bitcoin ...prob not a big deal they will use a future work around

people NEW to bitcoin...er not so sure...myself if I was new to bitcoin this year from the press i've heard i'd run far far away....

so don't know...do people 'get' bitcoin...or are the 'masses' clueless and will kill the idea thru non-action

we will be the first to know! (heh)

Searing

People who are new to bitcoin will follow the mass or more intelligent people will gather all needed information about bitcoin their selfs and will do decisions on their own.

I enjoyed watching your art would you do some kind of video tutorials of how you draw what is the best program for that etc?
That would be pretty cool, I'd watch it Smiley

I also support this idea, you could make maybe not a tutorial but how you makes these painting in fast motion because i bet they take alot of time.  Wink

853  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ask an Atheist Day on: April 18, 2014, 05:54:46 PM
I wont ever sign for any social network. It is unacceptable. So thanks but no thanks. Sad

lol, why do you hate social networks?

I hate them because they are nothing more that spying engines. Everything you ever put in any social network will be stored forever on their servers, you don't own your pictures, your words everything can be copied by them and used to make commercials etc. Stupid people thinks it is for their own good. It is not. Perfect tool for invigilation purposes. Didn't you hear about PRISM? Edward Snowden? That is your answer.

Correct, i have only email and nothing more, how about you?
854  Economy / Speculation / Re: BREAKING NEWS. (MORE) CHINA BANKS BANS ON APRIL 18TH on: April 18, 2014, 05:43:42 PM
Price goes down again because people gets scared of banned china banks and sell their bitcoins? IF i'm right don't get effect cause of those bans, there already was so many of them, we can survive that!
855  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone else feel like Bitcoin is a safe investment? on: April 18, 2014, 05:38:15 PM
Usually all profitable investments are risky at some point. If talking about bitcoin i think it's worth  investing in bitcoin if you have individual money for it because we all strongly believe that it will go up alot in a long term. But if you're about to sell your car and a house to invest your all money in it, DON'T DO IT.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why has Ripple decreased so much in Market cap? Used to be second to Bitcoin on: April 18, 2014, 05:21:37 PM
I wonder how even Ripple could of been second after bitcoin and litecoin 3rd? Litecoin is much better then ripple in all ways. So how could it even happen.. But past is past, Litecoin is in his place now.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if... on: April 18, 2014, 05:15:40 PM
If i would be a millionaire and have like 5 million dollars i would of course keep all 10K bitcoins for a long term without selling ANY of them. Smiley
858  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1.45 BTC Freeroll- The Edge Poker on: April 18, 2014, 01:27:46 PM
Well it's not technically a freeroll if you gotta deposit  Grin

It is a freeroll even if you have to deposit. Freeroll is a tournament with no entry fee. You can deposit play freeroll and withdraw. So you don't really invest anything to play it. Deposit is like a key to open the door to the freeroll which you can keep. Also most of the freerolls doesn't require any deposit but it could have additional requirements to enter it. But as mentioned before freeroll is tournament with no entry fee (if talking about poker).
859  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC on: April 18, 2014, 12:11:59 PM
I'd keep half and sell half in the coming days when the price rises up. When the price rises up to 1k sell half of what's left and keep the 1.5 BTC as a long term investment.

hmmm ok, once it hits over 550 I will sell half.

Yes you could do that. But i thought people are expecting more from bitcoin. Like what's the point for waiting till bitcoin goes up $50-$60 and sell your half (3 bitcoin) and make only $150-$180? Usually people who have alot of bitcoins just wait expecting that it will double in long term. And in your situation you wouldn't make much manipulating with 6 Bitcoins. What's your point? To Buy/sell bitcoins to make more of them or you just want to sell because you are scared to lose few $100's dollars?

Really nice and original art, i enjoyed watching every painting. Who inspires you to make paintings like "dog soup"? Is it your original idea? If your are not doing any order what kind of themes you draw the most? Thanks.
