562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.S. Government Is Turning Seized Silk Road Bitcoins Into Cash on: April 29, 2014, 12:37:21 PM
Is there any proof that gov is really selling bitcoins? Or it's just a rumor. It's stated like a fact but Is there actual proof of this?
563  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Correct me if I'm wrong, but... on: April 29, 2014, 12:33:25 PM
bitcoin is bad for money laudering:

1 - tiny market cap. Drug traffic alone generates 100x that or more
2 - public transations, and public information about the transations in public domain. Your corrupted police officers and judges can't prevent the good guys to get that information. Maybe not a problem for the small Silk Road drug dealer, but can be a big risk for the big fishes
3 - Hard to obtain. Use exchanges would be too noisy.

The real "problem" with btc would be tax evasion and an easy way to get your money outside the state's grip. Like a swiss bank account for the poors.

And maybe also a way to bypass the labour laws, if btc payments gets popular to hire people.

The first aspect is correct, but.. only for now, If bitcoin gets huge market cap in several years, that wouldn't be a problem to deal with big amounts of money, It's just time question.

If you were mod , what difference could you make to the forum ?

Would you want to do any? wouldn't anyone want to keep like It is now?

There is always room for improvement , isnt't it ?

Not all improvements makes forum better, do they?

If an improvement could not make forum better , would you even call it improvement ?

Some people would call it improvement , some would call it useless disadvantage , wouldn't they?

yes buying real estate and renting the property would be a good option I think. Buy some bitcoins with them, who knows maybe that will pay off alot in the future, go to business consultant and ask for an advice.

570  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fuck Summer! on: April 28, 2014, 05:31:52 PM

Wait, what? Who doesn't like spring? Fair warm weather but not hot yet enough to need A/C all the time... what's there to complain about?

It's the shittest of all seasons. Nobody cares about spring lol.
Why do you think that? Spring is my second favorite season! In this order: Summer, Spring, Winter, Autumn.
What is it with spring you don't like? Are you allergic or something?

Spring and summer are my favorite seasons.

The unicode symbols are looking bigger and better in Sr. Member profile than on my sig space Cry

They are only bigger I think, But indeed  Sr. Member signature attracts attention a lot as It's really big.

576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat is a germ transmitter! on: April 28, 2014, 04:16:15 PM
I agree to a certain extent but how often do you clean your hands before using your phone (presuming you were going to scan it with your phone) or clean a surface you put it on etc.

Plus to be fair the same person touched your food or at least the packaging of it so even with BTC theres that.

You interact with things people have touched all day everyday and think nothing of it.

If you guys compare  BTC and FIAT (who is healthier) about all those bacterium , that is totally non sense.

the only resolution is to create your own cult, and live out in the mountains as their leader.. where you will conduct multiple orgies and grow your own food via compost.

We are the bitcoin cult, with bitcoin Island, with bitcoin people, It's our bitcoin world Cheesy

Haha.. that's a good one. I still get amazed at how people keep falling for the same shit over and over again!

Massive chain reaction, most of the people that do so, doesn't really know what they do they just follow the mass and the mass is following other mass Cheesy
