My husband is philipma1957 he asked me to look at the photos as he is tired this morning.
They prove exactly what philip explained a few posts ago.

this photo shows  the miner in question  4 hours turned off.
note  derp is 0.00010416
note shares are 138,135,640

so  next photo the miner in question is 9 hours turned off.
note derp dropped from 0.00010416  to 0.00010249

also note your average hashrate dropped it was 199g daily and became 158g

note shares are 138,135,640  so while you shares stay the same.  the rest of us are working  so  that drops you derp.  do you expect that your derp should freeze in place and you keep it.

While we are mining away with our gear?

If you believe you are correct you need to pick a different pool.

BTW  you belong at solo.ckpool.org  not here.

Most likely you will not believe us.  Which is your loss my friend.

Anyone catch the ETH dev call today? If so can you summarize the conclusion because I still don't understand whether ProgPOW is a go or not. Seems that people were for and against it and now I don't know where we stand.

Either way. Apparently the Antminer E3 accounts for around 40% of the total ETH hashrate. There was a nonce fingerprinting done similar to what was done with XMR old algo and it turns out that 40% is from the certain ASIC. It was released by BitsbeTrippin and you can find it on their twitter. So in about a month or so around 40% of the hashrate is going to disappear.

This is why I never trusted ETH  most likely they won't go to ProgPOW they really don't care about miners much.

At least we will get a boost when the asics die off.  I do think those machines could be tweaked to have more ram.

I wonder if someone (Bitmain) has a lot of higher memory machines in hand mining in the background.

They reach out to ETH dev and poof no algo switch.

This would mean that 40% hashrate drop will be 30%  as bitmain had 1 in 4 machine on the network and they have jack up memory.

Which is why they made sure to build the units with ddr2 not ddr3 ram. The 3 of 4 units out in the wild won't find much ddr2 to upgrade with.

All your posts were removed because they violated point 32 of the forum rules. All deleted posts have been merged with your previous posts. So the content of deleted posts remained. You can check for yourself.

You have already combined my posts with the posts of this friend https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2553378 more than once. Do you really have such serious vision problems that you cannot tell my account from the clone?

If it is a clone of you and is under your control  it is considered to be the same.

This is my alt and technically I am breaking rules as I posted right after my other account.

mods  could merge this and the  other post.

they could do it into  either account.

So I ask you is the clone of your name you or is it a completely different person  with a similar name?
6  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: hitbtc scam 2.6btc! ALERT!!! on: February 26, 2020, 08:41:55 PM
Unfortunately, it is exchange services like https://changelly.com/ that encourage these platforms to continue operating and thus scam investors.
HitBtc are selective scammers and therefore they will deal with you, create an account, trade until you deposit a huge sums, and then you will come to the office and the arguments in order to steal your money.

I am sorry for your loss, but I think you lost twice, the first with money (2.3 BTC) and the second by sending the documents as they might have sold them.

Yeah  if you never do a lot of value they are fine.

25 USD worth of coin zero issues.

Most every thread that says they are a scam is over 1000 usd worth of coin.

Does not matter what coin.

people still use them because at first they don't ask for kyc.

So they move a little coin here and there with no issues.  Then they up the deposit and get hammered.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is it possible to download bitcoin blocks from some where directly on: January 22, 2020, 10:32:03 PM
Also  use a large ssd 1tb should be good .

Once it fully loads you won't take as much time. Since you won't be loading  more then 5% of the chain.

I have a 2tb  ssd with about 250gb for the blockchain
750gb for other files
and 1 tb empty
I have 8gb ram
a 2014 i5 intel cpu
and it is loaded up to date as of today I will shut it down and up load it in a month

but it will take under and hour to do it.

In your case  most likley you have no ssd not much ram etc.

You will need to bit the bullet at least one time.  To get it fully loaded it  may be more then  a week with a slow hdd and 4gb ram.

I do not think 6 weeks but maybe you have a poor internet speed.

What you are doing does nothing as it resets each time you stop like you are doing.

8  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: WANRNING! Do Not Buy Antminer S9k on: January 17, 2020, 04:47:52 PM
To be clear these are not the Sept 2019 batch.
These are newly ordered.
If so they are terrible.
My 4 ordered for sept 2019 were new.

You got used gear.

Every once in a while they do this.

10  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Regarding airflow for the Antminer S17 on: January 12, 2020, 08:16:12 PM
well   4 fans for hashboards

2 fans for psu.

the hash board fans  move at least 200 cfm each

but they are pointed trough the hashboards

so it is not 4 x 200 = 800

more like 2 x 225 = 450

tack on 50 for the psu fans

you get to 500 cfm

I feel that  500 cfm is pretty close to the top number they can do

Why not do
 a 500 cfm
 a 550 cfm
 a 600 cfm

set of calculations

it will give you 3 box sizes to choose from.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PoW to PoS - questions on: January 12, 2020, 08:10:42 PM
Is Proof of Work is going to lose popularity compared to Proof of Stake? Ethereum is going to PoS.
Is there going to be a lot of hash (computational) power idle because of shifting to PoS?
Where that power be used then? Will it address such decentralized computing projects as Golem, Storj, Sia, etc?

this is an alt coin question does not belong here

I asked mods to move it.
12  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer T17e is not powering on: January 12, 2020, 01:24:59 AM
[...]

to further elaborate on this if you put 240 volts into 1 plug and 205 volts from another plug

It could be a bad issue.

I feed my gear with

https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Heavy-Duty-Splitter-Power/dp/B07NF9JYXZ

https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEMA-L6-30P-to-C19-Power-Cord-8-ft-20A-250V-12-AWG-Iron-Box-IBX-4943-08M/121181887001?

I get them at better prices but they work great with bitmain 2 plug gear.

Yeah, some crazy bastards were paying 0.03 btc per ph, over paying insanely...
Now its almost back to normal.
Ive upped one of our rentals a bit.

to 0.0211
https://imgur.com/StihPVY

But yeah, if some one is gonna pay 0.03 again, we will have to sit out, we aint gonna pay that much, because its stupidly insane.

Good work man I was thinking it was probably someone bumping the rates again tbh happened last time when Phillip was doing his rentals.

I spent 7 days to do about 2 days worth of coin.  It was very hard to pay low numbers.
14  Other / Meta / Re: Change account Username/Name on: January 11, 2020, 10:39:25 PM
This feature will be the best thing to have if you're planning to scam people,or if you are high ranking old scammaz. The feature should be given to those who donated bitcoin to the forum.

Yeah  one would think that, but  my main account  is now causing me issues.

I was wrongfully doxxed on badbuyer.org
It gets threating pm's
One of my cell phones gets hangup calls.

All pretty much due to my escrow and scam busting on the marketplace section .

This account was created back when there were a lot of hacks on this site.  I wanted to have a replacement account ready to use.

I would not mind  changing my main account name if just to draw less attention to myself.

He did try to do this in jan 2019  it did not get off the ground.

His post history does suggest he plays here.

Well  like I said before good luck guys.

I did point a miner here

hey guys

is this where the 0.015 goes to?

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/3P5W1CDHjxBcYDe54gvEVPzMDjgfibF1hD

and ailikun has the address in his control correct?

this was used for the last rental under my philipma1957 account.

http://solo.ckpool.org/users/1MVzxXXtYuvmzGBT2ZiyrxXiEpUJ6Ttr1u

I think the rental  will start soon. Assuming ailikun gets it going when he said he would.

After reviewing this

looks like 5 paid so far.  total of 0.075

I have a question  who is he?  ailikun

I thought some one else  was running the bigger group of 0.125 btc

I do not see much info on ailikun I think something is up.

I think  some one got over maybe I am wrong but  this looks wrong to me.

he has not posted a lot

19  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Miner Question on: January 09, 2020, 06:02:17 AM
See, I KNOW for a FACT that bitcoin will NEVER drop below an exchange rate of 100 BTC per $0.01.  I KNOW this because, at that price I will buy every bitcoin I can find.  This creates a permanent floor at that exchange rate, and creates a scarcity such that if ANYONE else wants ANY bitcoins at all, they'll have to pay AT LEAST that much.  I'm pretty confident that there are others with more resources that are willing to do the same at a higher exchange rate.  Therefore, there will be competition for the scarce bitcoins, and the price WILL eventually rise again.

The majority of greater fools can buy a large chunk of bitcoin at $0.01 ,
but can you afford the hashrate to keep running it securely.
Answer there is no.

 Cool

FYI:
Miners can't survive a month at $1000 per bitcoin, $.01 is laughable.
At the next halving , watch how many miners declare bankruptcy at over $7000 per bitcoin, and now you see the failure of the PoW design.

which worst case means diff wait of 13 or 14 days will stretch to only 25 - 30 days.

You are assuming that bitcoin has excess transaction capacity, and we all know that to be false.
Transaction fees would skyrocket to $100 in the frantic cash out that would occur and the price per coins dives lower.
The majority of users would have their money frozen by excessive fees, odds are the network dies before they could even withdraw it.

Then every miner there is outside of china would be making a fortune in fees.

you are picking a strength showing you don't understand pow 's weakness.

The weakness has zero to do with high fees.

The weakness is block reward to tx fee  to price of coin ratio

ie if a block reward  is 50 coins  to .5 btc in tx rewards  price of coin is not too important.

but when you get to 3.125 coins to 1btc tx reward  the system has issues.

My opinion is 7-10 year 1/2 ing times would have been better then 4-5 year 1/2ing.

we are in for a rough ride on pow in 2028-2029.

1/2 ings are scheduled events not ifs.
and the 50 coin to 0.1- 0.5 tx ratio
dropped to 25 coin to .05- .07 tx ratio
dropped to 12.5 coin to 0.07 - 0.09 tax ratio
drops to 6.25 to ? tx id

i see problems below
drops to 3.125 to ? tx id
drops to 1.5625 to ? tx id

long term btc price growth could save the day for miners down the road.

5nm mining gear is 20% better maybe 30%
3nm mining gear is 20% better maybe 30%

some bigger companies will build large solar arrays that last 20-30 years.

but it all points to an issue  of BTC down the road. will it continue to support mining.

"que sera sera"

to all of us lets hope  the crazies on both sides  STFU  and listen to the song on youtube.

As for BTC  to the motherfucking moon baby  we don't need no stinking war.
