1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: February 06, 2016, 04:25:40 AM
Both www.blackarrowsoftware.com and ecointalk.net are offline, is the longest running ASIC pre-order scam to date finally done?

What, their latest attempt to fuck the same people they've already fucked didn't scare up a ton of cash?

Color me shocked.

Probably a last ditch effort before pulling everything offline for good.  They got their chips, mined with them for as long as they would make money, and now are done.  Probably made millions at the expense of others, hope these fuckers burn.

Yep, pretty much how I see it.  Any stupe that sent these guys money on this latest scam would've been lucky to see a single mbtc

Hahahahaha a last ditch cash grab, that's all this is! Paying for sub par compensation, that you can't own, that will pay out "once or twice a month" and that they have "no control over"

What could possibly go wrong? This company is trustworth, right? Where do I sign up?  Cheesy Cheesy

So they want people to send them more money to build something they'll never see and have no control over.

Gee, who ever saw that coming from these fucking thieves.

And for hosting?

The people that bought cloud mining the last time?  Hosed.

The people that had them host instead of ship?  Hosed.

Send us money, you get jack shit.   Sounds like BA alright.

Stick em up your ass Alex.

Thieving pieces of shit.

Merry Christmas Alex, how's it going in the UK courts for you, eh?

Do you have information others aren't privy to?  Is something actually going on with finding these people and bringing them to justice?

I do know someone did sue them.  Seeing as that person has repeatedly ignored my inquiries as to status after corresponding for several months I think the likelihood is that he won, but agreed to a non disclosure as part of the settlement.

I only say that as I've been involved in these sorts of things before.  It is very common for a party to ask for this if they have reason to want to shut people up going forward.  Considering the way these assholes have tried to control information I have little doubt they would ask for this.

If there was no settlement, there us no reason to not reply as there wouldn't then be any agreement.

So, I have not been told this directly, however my personal direct experience with other instances in civil/corporate legal battles leads me to think a settlement of some sort was reached.

That makes sense and I definitely agree.  Were you able to glean any information before the settlement?  Such as where was the lawsuit filed, the names associated with the lawsuit, addresses, and which law firm was used?

I know it was in the UK.  I am not sure if he sued Alex, BA or both.  As to address I'm not positive either, but I'd think it could be found via companies house, which is, I think, their corporate registry.

Last I heard the case had been filed, there was a hearing, another court date was set and then nothing after that.

I read the entire article.

This is pretty bogus shit by the FBI.  It's not like he went looking for the opportunity and that's how they latched onto him.  they cooked the entire thing up.

Obviously, there's a lot more here than can be contained in just the article, but what I see ain't good.

You broke the law and now you're whining? Go cry somewhere else retardman.

If I'm doing something wrong then the cops can pull me over. I'm choked about a fucking cash grab via tickets in the mail. I've been driving for 25 year, not a single accident or ticket in all that time.

What just happened was total set-up, they're fucking with the light timing to snag innocent drivers.

Yep, that has been shown numerous times.  They shorten the yellow to snag people.  Cause, you know, a shorter yellow enhances safety, except it doesn't.

these are total cash grabs being put out by cash strapped municipalities and nothing more.

11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fuck Off Librals! on: November 17, 2015, 01:57:30 PM
In many jurisdictions these types of tickets are issued by private companies, who do not actually have jurisdiction to enforce them.

If yours is one then you can toss it in the trash and there's nothing they can do about it.  You'll get more hatemail, but they lack the legal standing to compel you legally.

Basically they expect you to pay because they say so.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hook-nosed people are evil on: November 10, 2015, 07:22:13 PM
How much hook are we talking about?

10 degrees downward angle?

20?

Does the angle of the hook correspond to the level of evil or is this more of a binary thing.

2 degrees.  fine.  5 degrees.  fine.  7 degrees = EVIL!

14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: POLL: Do you vote in your local, regional, and National elections? on: November 05, 2015, 02:03:21 PM
Corporations, are people too,,, friend... That means, corporations, all around the world... Using that logic, how long before they have a vote, as well ?

This is a huge problem.  Corporations as well as other large special interest groups, such as unions, have no business shoving their money/bribes into the arena.

This is a major, major problem.

And another to which I see no solution, as the people with the power to change it are the very ones getting all that cash.  Ain't gonna happen.

No basic checks and balances on congress.  One of, if not the, largest problems in our system of government.
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: POLL: Do you vote in your local, regional, and National elections? on: November 04, 2015, 07:38:00 PM

yes, although increasingly I find it to be a waste of time.

they are all simply full of shit and plundering the country for their own gain, IMHO.

There's a very consistent theme so far - politicians are bullshit artists! So what do we do to change the quality of our representation? What can we do? There has to be something!

I feel if more people got involved in the political process (not donating, not campaigning, but voting for the best candidates) we could improve the system.

Ya know Harry, the short answer is I do not think there is anything that can be done with the current structure of the laws that govern our elected officials, their term in office and how their campaigns are funded.  Big money runs the show and Congress is not likely to change the system that benefits them so greatly.

Short of term limits and figuring out how to get the money out of the game on both sides of the aisle, there is no solution.   To this point in our history this has greatly been an honor system in terms of the folks in congress at least trying to come to terms with what is good for the country, as those guys are gatekeepers on things, including themselves.  There is a huge flaw in the system as there is no oversight on them.  No business or company runs that way, and for good reason, and at this point that systems cracks are gaping holes as an honor system is exploited by crooks.

I used to think it mattered.  I used to think that by getting involved and doing what I could as a citizen it would make a difference.  at this point I've come to the conclusion that all of that was time and effort thrown down a hole.  the game is rigged and the only people that can change it are those that benefit from it the most directly and have shown themselves time and time again to be crooked as a broken nose with no concern whatsoever for the country and people they are ostensibly there to 'serve'

oh bruddah.  the plot thickens.

"An Illinois police officer whose September shooting death led to a massive manhunt committed suicide due to personal and professional pressures, investigators announced during a Wednesday morning news conference.

Fox Lake Police Lt. Charles Joseph "Joe" Gliniewicz was stealing and laundering money from the Fox Lake Police Explorer's program and committed suicide due to the "personal stress from scrutiny of his management," Lake County Major Crimes Task Force Commander George Filenko said.

"Gliniewicz's death was a carefully staged suicide," said Filenko, who added that the officer had "significant experience staging mock crime scenes."

Filenko said the investigation "strongly indicates criminal activity on the part of at least two other individuals," though those charges weren't more fully explained."

both parties.  all candidates.  lying sacks of crap that are run by the banks, corporations and other special interest groups.  and I know people will say "not my candidate"  yes, your candidate.  they only one in the current presidential election that is maybe not purchased by the big money powers here is Trump and he's a nutter.

recent studies have indicated that the US is an oligarchy.  I completely agree.  In that case voting is itself a farce, a show put on to make the minions think/feel as if they actually have a say when in reality they simply do not.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bake Me a Cake—or Else on: November 04, 2015, 03:33:35 PM
The Western World, especially the United States, Canada and the European Union seems to be slipping toward gay Talibanism. At this rate, heterosexual marriage will be illegal in less than 5 years, and pedophilia and bestiality will be legal by 2025. Conservative citizens will either migrate to saner countries (Eastern Europe, Russia.etc), or they will "convert" to homosexuality.

there are all kinds of "isms" on the rise.  I can only speak for what is going on in the US as, although I read world news sources, I don't have a ton of insight into what is happening in other countries.

what is going on here is ludicrous, IMO.  catering to all and every special interest group is a massive waste of time and resources and is impossible.

all any group has to do is paint itself as a victim of something, get some press, march around a bit and suddenly they are legitimate.  anyone that opposes that viewpoint is vilified.

we've seen it here with illegal aliens.  people that have no right whatsoever to be here are now victims.  but there are a lot of them and their friends vote.  so they are victims.  speak up on the simple fact that they are breaking the law simply by being here in the first place, much less sucking resources, and you are a racist, a hater, a _______-ophobe   blah, blah, blah.

stick that label on the opposition and ride them into the ground, whether or not they have a logical, or legal, point is utterly irrelevant. if you can make it fashionable to support your cause so morons can send it viral on social media to make themselves feel and look good you are absolutely golden.

right now it's "black lives matter" and cops suck, and of course gays and illegals and a bazillion other little groups.

our public policy is being highly influenced and driven by people that support something because it's popular.   these are the same lemming-like morons that idolize the Kardashians and their ilk.  If that isn't enough to scare the living hell out of anyone I don't know what is.

and then again maybe it was suicide.

20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Detroit Public Schools 93% Not Proficient in Reading 96% Not Proficient in Maths on: November 03, 2015, 09:26:55 PM
Inner city public schools for the win! Time to spend even more money and that will solve the problem for sure. Seriously tho, if parents aren't willing to watch over their kids doing their homework and make sure they know the material, there's not much you can expect from the teacher - who can't work miracles. Furthermore, this new common core way of doing things is only gonna make things worse. Time to burn the dept of ed to the ground and leave all the money and curricula to the localities so that they can better fit the needs of the students. One size fits all has been an abysmal failure.

yep, without parental support and commitment to their children's education the system is nothing more than a child care service.
