1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If an Altcoin has a chance to overtake Ethereum, which one would it be? on: March 02, 2021, 07:33:27 PM
Ethereum fees are increased A LOT and it makes much more sense to stop sending transactions because we won’t make a profit from purchased coins, especially on Uniswap. If we don’t need to send a transaction, it makes much more send to avoid it and wait for cheaper fees.
But avoiding transactions shouldn’t be an issue for a well working platform. It is not how Blockchain should work. Ethereum has huge issues and it needs to be solved from Ethereum developers.

If it’s not gonna solved soon, we will see coins rising providing a better, cheaper and faster platform, where everyone can use it again and don’t suffer from high fees.
Many projects are building own solutions currently, to address expensive Ethereum’s weakness. It is quite hard to get an overview.

Here is my ranking list for coins if a coin has a chance to overtake Ethereum, which one would it be:

1. Avalanche. Avalanche is completely different from existing projects and experts have given Avalanche a high chance to be a big game changer for Blockchain and mainstream adoption because of interoperability, great decentralization and scalability in addition to low transaction fees. Avalanche was reviewed by SEQ and received a positive rating: https://medium.com/avalanche-hub/avalanche-consensus-the-biggest-breakthrough-since-nakamoto-66e9917fd656
2. Tezos. Tezos has been developed diligently be Tezos devs. It’s a solid, but very undervalued project. Tezos was reviewed by Blockgeeks and received a positive rating: https://blockgeeks.com/guides/what-is-tezos/
3. IOTA. IOTA has been a leading project for innovative approaches but IOTA developers had difficulties to deliever. Currently, IOTA is very undervalued and can be a very wise pick because IOTA has made huge developments recently, like IOTA Chrysalis (IOTA 1.5). IOTA description and analysis: https://medium.com/iotatangle/chrysalis-iota-1-5-phase-1-now-live-on-mainnet-958ec4a4a415
4. Cosmos. Cosmos is a promising project for a scaling blockchain platform. It wasn’t hyped yet because developers are still diligently building. However, experts have some concerns of being too centralized and Cosmos has too high inflation. Cosmos was reviewed by SEQ and received a mixed rating: https://medium.com/@CryptoSeq/cosmos-an-early-in-depth-analysis-at-the-ecosystem-of-connected-blockchains-part-one-508cd679bac5
5. Waves. Waves is an established network of a next generation Ethereum platform but has failed so far to meet expectations. However, it is a big and experienced developer team and Waves seems to be very undervalued currently.
6. Solana. Solana has started developing under Anatoly Yakovenko’s hatch just recently. It has made big progress and is shilled by prominent YouTubers and marketing figures. Anatoly Yakovenko has developed a good marketing strategy but it remains unclear, if Solana can be a top aspirant for DeFi, because concerns remained, when Anatoly Yakovenko could not respond to critics sufficiently, when he was recently confronted. Solana received an endorsement from Coinbureau: https://www.coinbureau.com/review/solana-sol/
7. Polkadot. Polkadot was invented by Gavin Wood, who developed Ethereum before. Polkadot has already established a big ecosystem and is still growing. But a high inflation, limited scalability and centralisation (dPoS) are issues for Polkadot. Polkadot was reviewed by SEQ and received a mixed rating: https://medium.com/@CryptoSeq/polkadot-an-early-in-depth-analysis-part-three-limitations-and-issues-d8b0a795a3e
8. Cardano. Cardano has already a very high Marketcap and it’s very likely an overvalued coin. Cardano was started almost 5 years ago from Charles Hoskinson, an abandoned Ethereum developer. Cardano has constantly developed but in addition to a good marketing strategy, it hasn’t achieved a working mainnet platform of contracts, like Ethereum. Release was always pushed back and promised “soon” (you know). Delays are usual for Cardano.
9. Algorand. Algorand was very promising before it started but a bad planned ICO and a huge dump after launch, where VC and rich participants sold, caused a dump from 3$ to 0.20$ and left a huge loss for many members. Wasted opportunity but developers are still building.

Ethereum 2.0 remains superior here because it is not included in my list but we need to see how Ethereum 2.0 will look like. Ethereum 2.0 will be huge, for sure, but until it is live, competitors have a chance of overtaking Ethereum.

What’s your list of potential coins overtaking Ethereum?

It is strange to see no tron in the list im saying that because tron is already working blockchain network that does everything that ethereum does and is very cheap and smooth to transact so it should be there because it is popular already as an eth alternative in all segments of crypto business whether it is defi, tokenization or usdt.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it the same? on: December 25, 2020, 06:08:31 PM
Greetings Bounty Hunters!
I'm just curious on how do you call a failed project (project who run some features but didn't continue) and a project who depreciated within time (projects who has lost its value due to its low demand and market value)
As I'm only aware of Scam projects ( projects that only within plans and didn't  proceed to any features )

Another thing is how can you tell if it has a potential  or doesn't  have any?

I have seen all sorts of projects and bounty campaigns:
The ones with high budget, they have paid and project is a success and vice versa.
Same goes for projects with small budget mostly they pay and project is a success but sometimes even small budget campaigns do not pay or the project fails. So the conclusion is that there is no guarantee and bounty is not free money it is constant hard work where you are only in profit when you average out after a year.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty rewards on: November 30, 2020, 10:06:52 AM
Since bounty hunters are being blamed for the projects price drop,
Why not ask the projects owner to pay the bounty reward in BTC or whatever the investors used to invest in their project?
They've promised their hunters a reward that has a total of $ value on their token/coin but they couldn't deliver it.
Wouldn't this kind of payment would solve both the investors and hunters problem?
The project price wouldn't dump after the reward has been given to the hunters and the hunters would get what has been promised to them.
I think the BM's could try and convince their clients for this kind of payment if they give it a try.
Blaming hunters is just an excuses because like tokens held by investors who can dump anytime hunters are free to do so as well because it is their tokens, payments in btc or usdt has been discussed many times but seems like the project teams are not willing to pay in btc ir usdt and i always believe if the project is good and attractive volumes would be high which will have minimum even if many people sell at a time.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: November 29, 2020, 07:40:28 PM
Please there's something I really want to understand about this crypto industry because at times as a newbie in this cryptocurrency industry you might get this wrong by making more mistakes in crypto. Does crypto name really matter before it become successful?
Obviously name matters and i believe the trend in crypto is for shortened, modern and innovative names that somehow depict advance tehnology or in simple words names that sound futuristic are most appealing.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple (XRP) is again in the news. Will it break its ATH before the Year Ends on: November 28, 2020, 07:13:37 PM
Ripple Rank # 3 crypto currency on coin market cap has risen more than 129% during the past 15 days which is very impressive performance by all standards. The primary  reason of the surge in price its new Project named "Flare Network" . All XRP holders will receive an equal amount of Flare tokens after 12th December, 2020. What remains to be seen is that current Bullish season and news of Flare Network token can boost the price of XRP to new highs.
Today there was news that ripple is selling considerable amount of its MoneyGram shares for the first time. This can mean that they are planning something big or new partnerships or possibly restructuring so i think xrp can be hit new highs soon but we cannot judge the exact date or time for that.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 23, 2020, 08:18:33 PM
We all know that the price of Ethereum will grow when bitcoin is growing, everyone knows what happened in 2017. When bitcoin hit the price of $17k - $18k then the ethereum price was already over $1k - $1.2k, but now when bitcoin price is $17k but the ethereum price is very difficult to break the $500 price, shouldn't ethereum current price should is $1k

Actually what happened to ethereum?
If you check on larger time frames the eth price is definitely keeping up with that of bitcoin but it is like a little bit delayed which is understable as initially money goes to bitcoon and then it flows to ethereum and others but one thing is for sure and that is we are in a new phase of longterm bull trend which will be here for many months hopefully.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the current Bull run stop on: November 23, 2020, 06:05:31 PM
Hey, i think another round of newbies getting entangled and trap in the current bull run is about to happen. we watch bitcoin move very fast from 15,000k to 17,000k within days . Not just the normal gradually process but as fast as we never espect.it looks exactly the same way it happened in 2017. many got trapped and they regrets the move. the ground is set and i am certain it will happen again.
Everything Mooning like someone is sitting somewhere pushing the gas. experience traders are riding the bull and making money, influencers are pushing those that care to listen while the Newbies are screening. GO BITCOIN, GO BITCOIN.
Just be careful and Never forget to use the stop lost(its like a seatbelt) because we will definitely meet the bears on our way up some day. But that day is not soon so lets enjoy the bull together.
Why are you worried about it because it is just getting started after btc and eth break previous highs only then real fomo will kickin, sellers will vanish from the market and we will be able to experience bull rockets i am especially excited because this will be happening after a long wait and a long bearish market.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be Emotional, Don't be Greedy on: November 22, 2020, 07:17:19 PM
The current crypto market is exciting as everyone is happy that new funds are being pumped into the space, investors are making profits and people are aiming for new ATH for bigger profits. I  remind us all not to forget to take profits, cut your greed and find new opportunities. Never be emotional about any project, buy when it's right, sell when it's right.

Everyone here is looking to make money in other words everyone is greedy and you are suggesting everyone to not be greedy. If we take this positively greed is good it pushes you towards your goals and aims and also without greed crypto market would become boring.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for altcoin season on: November 22, 2020, 06:01:00 PM
Are you getting prepared for a new altcoin season already or you still thinking that altcoins aren't going to start pumping soon? Well there is 90% chance that altcoins will starts bullish trend after bitcoin does it's thing to a new ATH, whales also have a role to play here too so here are best top altcoins I believe are good enough to ride the altcoin season

1. Ethereum
2. ChainLink
3. Bnb token
4. Polkadot

Yeah, really exciting times ahead as im sure coming months will be full of bullish dominancy that will take the price of the best coins to the moon. I am also ready with my top alts especially the trio that i love the most and these are ethereum, cardano and tron. I am calmly holding but  cannot wait to see all these coins going like a rocket.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: November 22, 2020, 04:34:50 PM
I always think when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency and I've thought of several methods for choosing the right time to buy cryptocurrency, that is :
1. buy coin during ICO, IEO or STO;
2. buy when the price down (dump);
3. buy when the project has a good news;
4. buy when the price starts to increase (pump);
5. buy when coin from the project listed on big exchange;
6. buy when the project already has a product.
Then from the methods I have mentioned, which method is the most appropriate to buy cryptocurrency or is there another method that you can suggest to buy cryptocurrency at the right time?
Buying from the longterm support areas is always the best entry and second best entry is right when larger market breakout seems clear because after confirmation market has moved up like an arrow. I am talking about breakout like in 2016-17 where after breaking highs of 1200 btc went on parabolic to reach 20k.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin very Big problem on: November 22, 2020, 03:51:09 PM
I am often skeptical of the cryptocurrency market because cryptocurrency has neither a worldwide community nor a rule to make coins, so my faith is not more than just 10%. This is because 2 3 Coins of the same name can also be made.  Ho and no one sends you any legal notice or banner and if 10 projects come in 1 month, then 8 of them are fake, if this problem is not solved then trust in this market will not increase...

These things will settle with time as the market and the community here matures and they start understanding and identifying about real projects and avoiding fake projects or if ever there could be some regulatory agency like UN that gives licenses to teams to raise funds, I am just suggesting this because we need real global solutions and not just from one country.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it a good time to get in or not on: November 22, 2020, 02:07:55 PM
Can one still dare to invest in Bitcoin when price is skyrocketing this high? I remember that some invested in Bitcoin at 20,000$ and the whole market started crashing on them, before they could pull out their money it's already too late and till today they haven't recovered their money, is this a good time to get in or it's already too late?
If we see the historic cyclic pattern of the market we will see that the real bullrun will start only after bitcoin breaks 20k with dominant bulls then there may be some good corrections but market can really take off after that and the run could take bitcoin price to such highs that no one is expecting at the moment but in the end it is your own decision as it is your money.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season probably won't happen like the past? on: November 21, 2020, 10:12:40 PM
Is there a possibility that only bitcoin will remain bullish this year? Can altcoin season be left out? The reason why I'm asking is some are already doubting, what if only very few altcoins grows higher in value and things failed to go the same way as that of 2017? What's your answer?
I am not here to make some claims but everytime the majority feels the same that new highs or new peak is not possible, i have heard this from many people few years ago when market was gearing up for big bull run just like now but people were just in denial that it cannot simply happen but in the end it did happened making many millionaires.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Are So Many Altcoins Worthless After a Little Time on: November 21, 2020, 09:06:24 PM
a huge number of altcoins neglect to arrive at the purpose of accomplishment, even the tokens that you hold right up 'til today are progressively useless.

Investing just in the best 10 coins marketcap as I would see it is good for the future, particularly bitcoin (in light of the fact that this is the principle). Invest shrewdly and begin trading in the event that you have seen cautiously.

I don't trade ordinary due to loses, at some point the market is simply terrible and vacillates a ton however I like trading when bitcoin is bullish, most occasions I generally win
Most coins and tokens become valueless after their icos due to many reasons and factors, some main reasons for that to happen include:
False claims from team.
Tokens sold by team even after ico on exchanges will keep the price down.
Low or no development.
Listed on low quality exchanges with no volume and no buyers.
Loss of interest from community and team itself.
Regulatory issues.
Project team fails to apply any strategy to create demand for token.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We need more bubbalexs and Hhampuzs in this space on: November 21, 2020, 08:33:38 PM
Let's start supporting jr member accounts managing new bounty projects, not all of them are scammers, the only way we can have good people like Hhampuz, Wapinter, bubbalex and others is to give helping hand and support new bounty managers, all pro bounty managers today starts from somewhere too, I have promoted few bounties from new bounty managers with jr member accounts and they are quit good, I even put one or two through about some headaches like POA and stuff, we need more bubbalex don't we? Before judging any new projects from newbies or jr members kindly check the projects out first, thanks
It really depends alot on bounty managers but sometimes it is not the fault of the bounty manager as well because we have seen projects that were doing good in all the aspects of the project but somehow they start ignoring manager and avoided any official answers regarding bounty reward distribution so you cannot tell the intentions of the team.
