Anyone experienced GPU0 ( rx 474-574) hashing at 1.3Mhs or 0.0 Mhs instead of 30 ? Maybee its DAG size issue ?
Reboot fixed it, but this dont feel good.
Same problem here mining ETC, one video card is 0.0 or 1.3 MHs i think the problem is with claymore i see that all the cards have dcri 30 if you change the dcri with + and - the video card (that have 0 MH/s) is fixed Thanks fot the tip. Will try this on next issue. FYI - had it on 2 different rigs ( GPU0 4 gb on both rigs) EDIT: Well in my case + - didnt work. Helped restart miner 3-4 times. |

Well. afer 1.3 Mhs and 0.0 Mhs problem i searched the web and found that ETC has more DAG file size then ETH. About 300 Mb as far as i remember. Correct me if im wrong. So ETC minig is first to fail in that situatuion. |

Yes, same problem in past 2 days. Start normally then after 2 lines from 154 drop to 8 mhs. I have RX580 at 8 giga, and mining ETC Any body know what is the problem ? RESOLVED !!! I was try to under clock my cards, and played with memos, but nothing changed. Decided to download a competition and now its mining Evan with better speed. Thank you Claymore until now, it was a good miner, stable. Thanks for sharing. Checked PM and it said it can't allocate mem for dag file or something like that. Thinking that after fresh reboot GPU has more empty ram to place dag file, but after some time working, it lowers and issue rizes. |

PS2: Checked with other famous miner ( well you know). fanmin works ( so its not driver issue). Mr. Claymore , do something.
Claymore hasn't even logged on in 4 months. I doubt he'll log on just to respond to you. I suggest that you just move on with the "other famous miner" software. Sorry. Pity. |

Hello again friends! Long time ago noticed that fanmin ontion dont work. It wasnt problem cause i put big FAN toward the rig and its fine. But..... now i decided to solve this question. Tested on rx 470 570 480 . Same thing. Win10 , diffeent drivers, different CM. Anyone had this issue ? P.S. Got cooler MSI RX 480 . With undervolting it stays under 60 deg. and fans go on go off , go on go off. And so on....... Not happy  Any ideas ? Notised its about MSI's . Other GPU's like Giga, Sapphire , HIS works fine with fanmin. MSI uses slow and big fans...try higher value for fanmin, double than you wanted Well, checked that. Now then GPUs needs to cool down from 0 fanspeed, it starts to run at fanmin . Then go off again at 59C temp. So fanmin works somehow on MSIs, but not as desired. P.S. Wolkthrou is to disable ZeroRPM in Drivers option. But fans starts to spin at not wanted speed like 40-60% . Well, good for now but Claymore should do someth. with that. He takes fee for his soft. 2 rigs shows it
P.S. Worker digs also at etc-eu1.nanopool.org:19999 and works fine.

I guess you will extend your GPU lifespan, however I recommend you to have some spare fan to replace just in case. Well, its not im looking to. -fanmin exists, and must to work somehow. I think its something about driver version. Claymore tested this on some drivers and it worked. From some version its not working or im missing something  |

Recently saw a lot of complains in that thread that 4gb cards cant mine etc.
I have couple of rigs with only 4 gb GPUs, win 10 , not using iGPU. Why im not affected ?
Yes 4GB AMD cards can mine ETC with windows 10. I have no problems at the moment. 4GB Nvidia cards canīt mine ETC on windows 10, because win10 uses more VRAM with Nvidia cards. Ahhh, it was about Nvidia, now i see , 10x for the tip. |

Dear Friends, I need your help. I have 2 rigs (3 cards + 6 cards) RX 570-580. Before Claymore v15.0 (up to November), it used to work quite stable... I had 75 + 155 MHs. After the update, it basically stopped working at all... Drivers seem to fall leaving me with 1-2 cards running at 10mhs and consuming 140W (according to afterburner). I'm using Aug. blockchain drivers. So... I tried everything I could to make it work... I literally ran out of ideas.  - I tried different configurations, reducing mc and cc, changing power limits, voltage, etc. kind of tradeoff efficiency for stability. - I tried to auto-restart the miner (and computer) and run via .exe and bat file. (I even tried restarting pc every 20min or so). - different drivers didn't work as well... - I tried changing RAM to 4, 8, 16 GB... - configuring autoburner so I have ą100 W; stable. (gives around 22mhs per card, which is not much... and still, it crushes. I set up everything... eave the rig... it works 15 hours in the best case scenario... (usually 2-3 hours) and then ... drivers fall leaving 2 cards 10mhs. then I reinstall drivers, config auto burner and everything repeats. I think I was able to detect the error once before the crash, the red line said: "OpenCL error, -36, cannot write buffer for DAG". I'm not sure if it's related to what happens but this what I was able to see. At this time it's more like a hobby than earning. I call it 'my little tech club' - I'm trying to make it work because I enjoy when it works stable... I'm not a tech or hardware guy and I learned a lot through the course of these years. But past experience was very disappointing. The rig is not in my house and I can visit it once a week in the best, I probably spend more money on gas (not counting my time).  Please give me some ideas about what can I do to make it work stable... maybe with fewer MHS, but stable. I would appreciate any advice on how can I make it work. Thanks, dear community! Well, basicaly in that situatuon best practice is to disassamble the rig and start building from the beginning . Starting from 1 GPU on rig board. Geeting stability on 1 GPU then adding one by one. ofcz if you are distant is looks not so convinient , but its most efficient way. IMHO |

Hello! Thank you for your work. Could you please answer why Miner Manager cant get info from miner in its window , though i can see miner console through "view miner console" (opens in browser) ?
I suppose it somehow deal with HTTP response from miner.

i have all samsung elpida micron hynix.... rx470 480 570 580 4...8gb
My some cards runs 2-3 days some of then crash. whatchdog says restart miner.i wish could be nice if it crashes right away, so i know it crashed.it is annoying it crashes and you dont know until you check it.
my rigs are not stable under 930mv on core, 900mv works for 2-3 days some cards just crash after 6 hour.i dont understand why it doesnt crash right away.it is difficult monitor each cards behavior because different model memory brand.and i dont understand people who can get stable card with 835mv??? non of my cards work at this voltage.for me voltage not problem i can waste extra watts for me is important to be stable with NO crashes at least for a week,then i can restart whole rig

each and every card is different even if you have two identical gpus it mostly relies on chip quality which can also be checked by gpuz no two identical cards may run with exactly same configuration so i will say check the card one at a time for its stable settings Thanks for answer Check this out : i have 3 rx470 msi armor identical 3 cards memory everything looks like they been manufactured at same time but 2 of them works same setting but 1 insist on 2040mhz memory and 930mv on core,it makes me crazy Agree, GPUs doesnt made by copy-paste method |
