Hello guys, today they finally sent me a message saying that the security ban on my account has been lifted. This is happening after the value of my account has halved. Who is now going to pay for all the loses I made and the time they stole from me. I still reserve my anger towards this exchange, but I've got to let us know they have finally enabled me to withdraw from the platform, thinking of which other trade I can do to and on which exchange to do the trade to recover my monies back. Thanks for all your supports and contributions so far.

These guys are real thieves, I don't need to be taught otherwise. Today they sent me a mail saying that my verification is denied, without stating the reason for the denial. I logged into the account only to see the message written bold again on my profile, asking me to check tickets for details. The funny part is that the two tickets I have opened, they closed them automatically and marked them as resolved. What do they really want with an account that is worth less than 0.1 btc. These are petty thieves. But they will not run away with my money. I must get it back.

However, they've chosen to go the fraudulent way and the hit and run approach, but I bet they won't get away with everyone's money before they're discovered. It is good the general public know how evil their intents are and stay away from them. they have many Scam Accusations cases against them, but why do they still have customers? Answer: They still have customers because many people do not do research before using the exchange, many people think that what happened (having bills blocked, money stolen and support ignored) with others was an accident and with it not going to happen the same thing with them, so people continue to use shady exchange. The funny thing is that most of these accusations have not been resolved and they're still in business. It is not right. Are there no authorities that can either temporarily inform users to pull funds out of the exchange sequel to an order that the exchange domain will be temporarily suspended until the perpetrators reveal their identity and prove their innocence. Something has to be possible, these people ought to be regulated. Am seriously annoyed over this situation. Suddenly they blocked my funds and restricted me from trading. No valid reasons. I verified, account stayed as unverified and still locked out for about a month now. What kind of thieves will I call this one? |

Thanks for helping me out on this, I'll definitely update it when I get my fund back. But I wish more that all users on Mercatox currently get to know how fishy the exchange is and withdraw their monies from the exchange, let's see what their next move will be. |

This is not good I have two coins on that exchange , this is one of the reasons why I still do not deposit my coins that are listed here because of this issues they should have a support team to answer these accusations here on Bitcointalk, they are on their way to becoming the next Yobit with so many accusations here in Bitcointalk scam section.
I can't understand how they keep being in operation with this level of clear scam. They still operate and keep themselves as though they don't care and that no one can bring them down. Thanks for your contributions @robelneo |

I hope that someday the crypto space will be almost completely void of these scammers who operate anonymously and never lives up to promises or abide by their own stated policies. I believe what works would be that everyone will have to deal with those who are verified and have a reputation to lose in the future. What I know is that there are also a lot of good persons just as much as there are the bad ones, in the end, the good will outlive the bad. I just got touched by someone who was never obliged to help me in any form here, and I know that soon someway, my own case will be resolved too.

Thanks for the message, and thank you for supporting me in the way you do. I just know that just as you got your total recovery, I will get mine someday soon. Everyone really do have a beautiful spirit, but I just don't know how some people are naturally configured to scam and hurt others. Whatever method used by these people/exchanges, whether directly or indirectly is a scam and it hurts people. Am hugely indebted to everyone who have contributed to my cause so far, and most especially to NI because had his thread not existed, I wouldn't have gotten the positives I've gotten so far. I seriously need help, and more so because even that little fund in the account was a form of merger, someone's fund is in it and it is the first time the person gave me some funds to trade as a partner, however even paying back the cash in fiat is not enough to convince her that I didn't do something fishy. The account ought to be recovered for me to feel good and I wish it is possible to mete justice on the exchange, but like you, they seem to be another anonymous Russian exchange.

I advise you to spend a couple of thousand dollars on the purchase of trolls (they have mr.NI), then spread it on the Internet, and maybe then someone, for example, JollyGood and his friends, will praise you. But, as I understand it, you have no money. I feel sorry for you, but your story confirms that you are of no interest to anyone, if you are not ready to convey some BTC as a thank you. @ni23457 I appreciate your effort and am so happy for your being able to recover your funds. You had it recovered mainly due to the amount of social media confrontation you pulled up, especially due to the fact that you had some extra buck to make your voice to be heard. I currently have my own issue at Mercatox. Though my fund is so much less than yours, about 0.1 btc, but that means a lot to me, if not like everything to me. My own case started about 2 weeks ago when I tried placing a sell order and I got a message prompt that am unable to place orders, I should contact support. I did by opening a support ticket and they claimed I was specially selected to be verified else I can't trade nor withdraw, for security reasons. In their terms and condition, it says anyone can trade and withdraw without being verified, so I started catching the cold for another major scam intent when they sounded "Special Verification". I did the verification and until now, they refuse to verify me, refuse to tell me if there was anything wrong with my documents, refuse to accept even video verification I offered to do to hasten the verification process, and just yesterday closed the ticket I opened with the case unresolved. Today, I received a mail telling me that the support ticket I opened regarding this issue with Mercatox has been closed. How on earth can right-thinking people be behaving in this manner. Or they think because I don't have the financial strength to make this case popular for my fund to be released or maybe they feel that the cost of making the world hear my voice is more than what I have in my account and as such I can forgo it. Well I don't plan on giving up until I get justice. And also I wish they can be sued for damages but it seems they are anonymous to a very large extent and only have little of their name to defend. Whatever the case, I will not rest until I get my money back.

I have edited the post. Do I need to move the post to a more busy thread? Because I really don't know why a trader will not be able to trade his account for this long. In a very bearish market, I could well lose over 70% of my account portfolio in this short period. Notwithstanding the amount of profits I could have made pending when the verification is completed. Other sites like IDAX and Bittrex, including Quoine, Kucoin and some other ones where I verified, it takes less than a day to verify. And also I've never seen a situation where an unverified account has the limitation of trading his account, the ban is usually placed on withdrawals. 2 weeks and no news from Mercatox on what is going on with my account.
