The opal team prides itself on responsibility and honesty.  One of our pentesters found a flaw that must be fixed in order to protect Opal users.  The launch will still happen, hopefully within 24 hours, but we cannot make any promises.

It seems there are some issues with the countdown timer, and people in different areas of the world. There is half an hour left on it (from now) for the time we set it at.

There are a few more tweaks we still need to finish. Hopefully we will be able to launch on time - but if not, we shouldn't be too late. Technically, everything is working - it's just some cosmetics we'd like to try get ironed out. But if needs be we can still launch and work on those in the background!

Replace the "mistyped" wallet.dat with the backup one - it should still use your old passphrase.

I did Read through the posts. the only thing that seems clear here is the following.

no one has proof who the equinox Dev really is, only speculation.
There is no proof reoelliott made several accounts. Only a bitcoin forum admin can verify this, and I am sure you are not an Admin.
Many people have poor English, Including you! that does not make you the Dev. ie--> (accusing* every time* caught* behavior*)
Looking back at the posts, It would seem this reoelliott person did try meet the Dev as they apparently live in the same town, however clearly he was trolled as you can see by the messages he posted on Twitter "messages are same day and relate to posts. He then told everyone he was not going to meet with him later. seems legit to me.
Before people decide to go and post peoples personal information on these forums accusing someone of being something without actually having "sufficient" proof, I would be careful as the consequences of such accusations could lead you somewhere you wont enjoy being.
Im not saying this guy isn't the scammer or he is, Im just saying your so called proof, is actually nothing but a wild assumption. Rather get some hard evidence that proves he is the scammer before posting his details online. remember he could also take legal action against you for defamation of character lol.

As I understand it only 576 payments can be made in any 24 hour period, with one payment been made with each block. Blocks are validated every 2.5 minutes so 60 minutes x 24 = 1440 minutes / 2.5 = 576 payments.

We currently have 1182 masternodes... 1182/576 = payments should be made on average every 2.05 days or 49.25 hours.

Note: When you first start a masternode you also have to add another 24 hours on before you get your first payment, that's why it's not good to keep restarting... So your first payment will take on average 73.25 hours to come through.

I think I have this right, please correct me if I'm wrong.

As for all the name pointing. I would also agree and say its strange for someone to be posting and making accusations on this thread so much and claim they never had any investments in this coin.

To be very honest, i actually think that this politzer could be the Dev! he is going very hard out of his way to try and prove that someone else is the Dev, he is really trying hard to prove that I am apparently the Dev, If you look at every post the Dev makes, its as if he kind of knows there is a post and always seems to be the first one comment. MMMM its so strange that you can accuse me of being the Equinox Dev with absolutely no proof whatsoever except for some hunch. If your evidence had to stand up in court the judge would laugh at you and they would dismiss your case because you actually don't have any proof except just your own opinions!
There is absolutely nothing on the entire Internet that points any physical proof that i even have any relation to the Dev! If you had something like a picture: ie something profiling us together then you might be onto the right guy but the truth is its very suspicious how:

There was a time in crypto when I would be inclined to play such a thing. Now I just laugh at people flipping for $0.18 giving up the potential to get whatever they sell back. More power to those that want to play, I'm keeping my masternodes churning.
