hoping BTER lets me withdraw my DRK... i had about 1300, withdrew 1000 trying to setup my first masternode... and it hung at "processing". i didn't think much of it and slept on it...
wake up next morning to the hack news. bah!

All my masternodes seem to be getting
"ERROR: ProcessBlock() : CheckBlock FAILED"
and
"ERROR: CheckBlock() : Couldn't find masternode payment or payee"
since 14th february. Some of them have received payments even with those messages.

My MN VPServers on Vultr, Amsterdam showed enormous outbound traffic today  Is it only me ... ?  I started a MN VPServer on Vultr, Amsterdam just today. It sounds like from your post that outbound traffic is a good thing. I am constantly switching it up until a get a MN to start dropping coin. Not sure what the best strategy is for finding a good MN Server type and/or location. With enforcement enabled, it doesn't matter at all where your Masternode is located. All nodes get equal payments, no node is paid twice before all are paid once. So take off the vultr reference from your guide for dummies to kill a possible FUD vector. There are plenties of good vps providers out there. |

From what we can tell there's a uncommon condition on the network (seems to be about 1 in 10 clients), where some databases have became corrupt. Please check your logs for these messages:

If you find entries like that delete ~/.darkcoin/blocks and chainstate, then resync from the bootstrap:

Event: Connectivity Loss Date/Time: 12 February 2015, 15:30 GMT At approximately 15:30 GMT Level(3) leaked routes to Vultr in Amsterdam. This event destabilized BGP for Level(3) and NTT causing Vultr to lose connectivity. Our engineers have stabilized the network and we will be performing a maintenance next week to upgrade the routers to prevent this issue from reoccurring. This is testnet. Masternodes don't exist in main net yet. Come again in a few weeks. I understand that, but i'm asking what is the minimum on a MN once it hits mainnet? I believe it won't be a fixed amount of SPR needed but a dynamic one. |

Having frequent updates is the (imo small) price to pay to be able to be a part of a cutting edge development.
If you have no development, you have no updates.
I think everyone who's been with DRK for a while is already very used to this. The team is working relentlessly to create more value to the users, and the least the users can do is to keep the network up to date!
+1000 1 minute once in a while needed to update for receiving back a ROI/y of 20%+. Seriously? |

i like your enthusiasm about DRK, nevertheless i dont like that it looks like this whole rally seems to be funded by your walls. remove your walls and we are back at 0.006. I'm sure InstantX had nothing to do with it. instantX is great! but without those buywalls we are heading down to sub 0.01 again. just my 2 drk. Note that this rally has not been "funded" by my walls as very few have been sold in to and then by not much, ie the first 0.006 one, they aren't going to be removed so speculating on what would happen if they were is fairly pointless, they are just a fact of the market. How many DRKs have you been collecting since the rally started? |
