Lol all "WTS".. where all the buyers at?

this coin is a joke at these prices.. are there really still people out there dumb enough to fall for these ridiculous prices? I thought all those people's btc are long gone by now- after all those other 100s of other shitcoins that came out the past few days.. you guys are a little bit late for the ride, all the new money has been spoken for already.. applaud the effort though

this is really getting silly

Uhhhh... ok there robert downy jr.   calm down

stop patronizing everybody and being so fucking arrogant.. you probably spend 2 hours writing out your long winded posts only to have maybe one reader who even has the patience to read through all your condescending nonsensical garbage..

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Trading Thread for Nxt :: Descendant of Bitcoin on: December 26, 2013, 03:59:15 PM
Why are people even listening to the upset trolls that post shit about Nxt and how the price is being manipulated.. price is gonna bubble.. blah blah blah (or any other coin that has relative success)

There's no point in responding with "give me proof with numbers to justify your claim"

We all know it's as simple as  - Trolls post shit about any coin that they don't own any of, especially when they see the price skyrocketing.
It's just jealousy, envy, and greed my friends - just ignore

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: December 11, 2013, 08:42:28 PM
It's not a scam... but the people following it around calling it a "scam" is definitely keeping the price at bay and keeping new potential buyers hesitant... also cryptsy shit interface and lagbooks are keeping the price down too.. (Me along with a few friends tried buying Qrk the other day for 2 hours.. ended up cancelling our buy order and gave up)

I doubt keiser gives a shit about Quark.. probably doesn't own any and doesn't plan to buy any either...
however, I do believe Bill Still will bring it up on his show.. but probably very briefly

(after Qrk's extremely brief stint/mention of keiser's show - every quarker will be thinking "What? That's it? That's what I held onto these Quarks for over a month for? FFS" - time to jump onto cryptsy and dump this thing)
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SXC Sexcoin exploding on: December 10, 2013, 09:04:53 PM

What the fuck is going on with buy orders??

Yep there goes cryptsy again.. single handedly destroying the value of a coin and keeping it at a minimum.. just like it did to Quark the other day

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: POLL: Which coin should BTC-E add next? on: December 08, 2013, 07:25:11 PM
If btc-e's goal is to gain more profit, then they should add Quark

Thousands of btc-e devoted and monogamous users never started trading on cryptsy (and other exchanges) let alone even heard of them until all the Quark hype

Volume and hype is still growing over quark, as the anti-quark trolls are appearing less and less (probably because they now own some qrk)
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy- really does it suck? on: December 08, 2013, 03:12:22 AM
pr9me is the only one that even help's with support. It would be smart to hire maybe a few more people, considering Cryptsy is currently having all sorts of problems.

My newest problem BTC deposit has been showing as Incoming for about 10 hours now. (15 confirms)

My latest deposit isn't even showing as pending....24 hours later. (168 confirms).  I'm new to virtual currencies and I can't tell you how disheartening this is.  Not having quality exchanges or at least one will only limit VC growth.

I'm in the same boat... The alt I've been eyeing has since gone up quite significantly since I've made the transfer and wanted to buy in... This isn't the first time it's happened... Extremely frustrating when you want to buy a coin for cheap and are waiting for the transfer to come through, only to be sitting there waiting, watching as the price steadily increases
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling the end on: December 06, 2013, 08:09:20 PM
I've been a bitcoin investor since late last year, I'm not an active trader so I don't frequent the price charts or follow the graphs on a daily basis.  This is actually the first "crash" that I've witnesse live. Every other time in the past when bitcoin "crashed" I didn't even know.. I get informed by a friend about the "crash" that just happend, check the charts later in the day and the price is either the same, higher as when I last saw, or on the way back up again.

Point being - yawn .. Crash? Lol price back up to 1200+ before Monday ends
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CSC] CasinoCoin - The Premiere Coin for Online Casino Gaming | On Cryptsy! on: December 06, 2013, 05:35:06 AM
We are proud to announce a re-launch of CasinoCoin. We are going to re-brand the coin and re release the coin under CAC.
The dev here has given up on this project and after talks with popular exchanges they have to, but we feel this coin has a bright future.
Look forward to updates and news regarding the NEW CasinoCoin. (CAC)
We have a dedicated team of developers working on a new coin that will actually work with online casinos, 350M coins was simply not enough. The value for online gambling is in the billions of dollars per year. We are talking with some major online casinos who are very interested in the potential of this coin. They will be apart of the beta phase in the next few weeks.
A thread will be started for the new casinocoin in the next few days with all the specs when I have them available.

This will be no pre-mine. We plan to test various ways of covering the starting house bets during the beta phase.
At this point everyone will be available to mine the coin, but will not have access to the exclusive casinos that will be using the coins until us and the casino(s) feel it is stable enough for the public. With this being said we have a BTC/LTC casino launching in the new year that will eventually switch over to CAC. This will be our house casino that you can trust.

For updates please visit our website at http://www.CasinoCoin.org
Regards, we look forward to a bright new future!

Does this mean the CSC I have now will be void when the new CasinoCoin is released? Is it still safe to buy some on cryptsy?

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc38.com and btcltc.com gone? on: December 06, 2013, 04:49:09 AM
If you look up btc38 in alexa rankings, it has a super spike in the graph, and the site was in beta mode. So hopefully this means it is coming out of beta mode and will be up and running very very soon  Grin

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: December 05, 2013, 04:35:54 PM
I think the problem is that there are three main markets for QRK right now:

those within the crypto community (experts, veterans)
those that have been dabbling in BTC and altcoin trading- but are not part of the crypto/mining community (btc-e trolls mostly)
those complete newbies (ie. never really bought a BTC before and just see a mention of QRK from keiser or still's show and want to buy a bit)

It seems like most people in the crypto community don't want to support this coin, for whatever reason

Those dabbling in trading are too afraid to touch the coin because of all the hate and hate spam you see exploding after QRK got so much attention..

Those complete newbies have issues buying the coin and setting up wallets, etc.

and now every time you want to search for QRK - there is "scam" or "premined" word or link attached to it

If I was a novice looking to invest in bitcoin and altcoins and I google QRK.. As soon as I read a few articles and opinions about how QRK is "scamcoin" I'd just rather not risk it and ignore the coin altogether

Gonna be a tough one for QRK to battle through all this hate, best of luck

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should BTC-E Add SRC to Their Currency Lineup? on: December 05, 2013, 04:17:00 AM
Holy crap is this for real?

SRC is like stalking QRK on every single possible outlet - ever since QRK got so much attention

This is starting to become extremely sad.. This is an SRC titled thread, yet opens with the words "Quark" before you even see any mention of SRC

You already copy cloned the poll thread QRK did.. why mention them AGAIN in this thread? Just copy their poll thread and mention+promote the SRC brand and it's perks.. stop fucking mirroring it with QRK

Can you guys differentiate yourselves from QRK already? Jesus man..

I own about 100 QRK and 50 SRC btw and wasn't planning on buying any more, so I can give a shit about how either does but Jesus- I've just been following the alt coin news and every time I stumble upon a random QRK article, or /r/thread.. there is literally at least 1 comment about some guy promoting SRC and talking shit about QRK

Fuck SRC seriously..the "whinny jealous little brother" coin.. time to sell these 50 shares
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Question about mining for a complete beginner on: December 04, 2013, 06:10:00 PM
Hi there, as the title says I'm looking into purchasing some hardware to start mining some altcoins

I'm looking for the best hardware and method to use/purchase for this pursuit

My budget is around $1500 and less (hardware only, does not incl. electricity costs, etc.)

I'm basically looking to buy hardware that has the capability to mine a variety of altcoins

(ie. start mining a newly introduced coin until the difficulty level surpasses my hardware - and from then on I can tweak the same hardware system to start mining a different coin)

Is this a possibility even? Is solo mining dead for all coins these days? Would it be best for me to buy a pre-setup GPU and join a mining pool?

Considering I know very (very) little about computers, is this too quixotic of a pursuit? Or something that just takes a little time, study, effort and patience and will be worth it once the mining rig is set up?

Please advise! It's greatly appreciated
