Did you try to restart your wallet? when you first installed the wallet, was the blockchain download successful? This contains also the most current peer file, so if you do not have any special firewall settings it should find connections. |

Wie meinst du das jetzt? Schlägst du vor, dass die Verbesserungswünschr auf github eingebracht werden sollen? Es also egal ist, wenn irgendwelche Probleme hier gepostet werden? Bist du kein Ambassador und stehst mit dem Team in Verbindung? Das war eher auf "Fühlt sich so ein bisschen an, als wenn man hingehalten wird" bezogen und die Aktivität im GitHub. Die relativ hohe CPU Last und Memory Last steht in engem Zusammenhang mit der alten Codebase. Das sollte sich wesenltich verbessern wenn die neue Codebase fertig ist. Den Fortschritt dazu kannst du auf GitHub verfolgen und hat absolut nichts mit einer "Hinhaltetaktik" zu tun. |

Es gab ein Update. Aber wohl noch nicht mit den erhofften Feature, dass die CPU-Last ordentlich runtergeht. Aus diesem Grund ist daher mein Wallet auch schon lange geschlossen und ich werde es erst wieder starten, wenn diese CPU-Problematik behoben ist. Minor changes. Enigma updated to support more onion skins, less network topology issues. Added some logging. https://github.com/CloakProject/CloakCoin/releases/tag/2.2.2.2Es ist nicht nur die CPU-Problematik. Die jetzige Windowsversion ist unbrauchbar bei vielen weil staking nicht möglich ist. Die Wallet beendet sich regelmässig nach spätestens 2 Tagen. Meistens schon deutlich früher. Ich bin daher auf die ältere Version zurück. Leider gibt es dazu von offizieller Seite keine Stellungnahme. Danke für das Feedback. Die Version 2222 beinhaltet nur einige kleine Verbesserungen für Enigma, sonst sollte jedoch alles gleich geblieben sein. Ich hab das direkt ans Devteam weitergeleitet. Das habe ich schon im März mitgeteilt und da wurde gesagt, dass daran gearbeitet wird.  Also so richtig erfreut bin ich nicht. Fühlt sich so ein bisschen an, als wenn man hingehalten wird bzw. nicht viel am Wallet gewerkelt wird. Ich habe das Wallet auf einem PC installiert und gestartet, da ich gerne Staken möchte. Auf dem PC habe ich bisher nur das Wallet von DeepOnion. Das hat einen CPU-Auslastung von ca. 25%. Das Cloak Wallet hat ca. 50%. Ich finde das sehr unpassend und würde mich über eine Leistungverminderung bei einer neuen Walletversion sehr freuen.

Hello Team, i am asking for your help in intervening with Yobit Exchange for CLOAK. For several months i would like to recover my thousands of CLOAK coins that are on this exchange. Their wallets constantly display "DEPOSIT CLOAK Deposit is temporarily disabled because wallet status is Maintenance" I asked Yobit support in private message i never received a reply. I went through the online chat and it was reported from dominikherzog, to me that Yobit is waiting for an update from the developers. Then I was banned from the online chat without any reason or summons! Can you intervene to send the update of the CLOAK wallet versions so that Yobit can deign to reactivate and authorize again the withdrawals and deposits of CLOAK? Thank you for your attention. Furthermore there is no reason for an update, CLOAK did not have any mandatory hardforks, YoBit can visit our public github, download binaries or use our code to compile their own daemon/wallet. Habe gerade mal im Blockexplorer nachgeschaut von Cloak und innerhalb der letzten 500 Blöcke keine einzige Shielded Transaktion gesehen ...
Es gibt generell nicht allzuviele transaktionen, weder normale noch welche mit Enigma (shielded), weil alle hodln und staken. Ob eine Adresse in einer Enigma-Transaktion oder als Cloaker oder als normale Adresse erstellt wurde, lässt sich anhand des Explorers nicht feststellen. |

Was ist dabei heraus gekommen, gab es da einen Grund oder warum Cloak von Bittrex geflogen ist? Es gab sicher einen Grund, aber 1. gibt es ein NDA und 2. bleibt Bittrex den wahren Grund fürs delisting ebenfalls schuldig. Wir wissen also effektiv genauso viel wie vorher ==> NICHTS. Zentralisierte Exhchange sichern sich so ab, dass man so oder nichts sagen könnte. Aber es ist wirklich so, wir wissen den wahren Grund nicht, wir können nur spekulieren und wir können in 3-6 Monaten wieder einen Antrag stellen, Bittrex wird dann keine Listing Fees haben wollen, das ist aber alles auf deren Webseite officiell einsehbar. |

What do you mean optimizing? you can set reservebalance=<amount> in the cloakcoin.conf but this amount does not stake then. the most staking you get when you stake all your coins = standard |

The majority of cryptocurrency trading is conducted on centralised exchanges that provide hackers with a broad attack surface and are susceptible to a single point of failure. Trading privately and securely is increasingly difficult due to reliance on trusting a third party.
Centralised platforms are vulnerable to security threats and a single breach can compromise the assets of every user on an exchange. Many projects within the crypto space have attempted to address security and privacy issues with the implementation of a decentralised exchange (DEX).
Unfortunately, the majority of these DEX projects are not deployed to a decentralised network comprising enough individually distributed nodes. Nor do they implement any form of decentralised distribution of the user interface, the critical risk component when it comes to hacking attempts.
Despite widespread focus on the need for decentralised exchanges, efforts are wrought with profit seeking, centralisation, the unnecessary introduction of further cryptocurrencies, and of course, fees.
Introduction
While the value of privacy coins is dependent almost wholly on their ability to be privately spent, there are also many problems to be solved regarding how they are privately acquired.
Careful consideration has been given to Cloak’s current technology, upcoming developments and ongoing value proposition to both the wider cryptocurrency and general consumer markets.
Decentralised Exchange Overview
The proposed implementation of CloakX is a decentralised exchange network built atop proof of stake nodes, that reserve a fraction of machine resources to facilitate peer to peer trading. Considering Cloak already has over 100 staking nodes and migration to the new BTC codebase is approaching completion, the network is well positioned to accommodate a DEX interface embedded directly in the new hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallet.
Through each wallet connected to the network, a fraction of the exchange interface would be encrypted and stored in a distributed manner on each machine participating as a staking node. As CloakCoin does not incorporate masternodes, it naturally favours the decentralisation of the user interface, as well as the APIs of all supported cryptocurrencies.
CloakCoin Network Utilisation
The decentralised exchange would be supported by the existing CloakCoin network. In order to access and trade using CloakX, users need to hold a certain amount of $CLOAK within their wallet, as a specified percentage (TBA) of their total trading portfolio.
This encourages the acquisition and holding of CloakCoins. It is also inherently aligned with the inflationary properties of the coin, as the staking rewards of 6% per year provide the ‘gas’ required to incentivise further peer to peer trading on the network.
$CLOAK Cryptocurrency Innovation
One might consider $CLOAK serving a similar utility to CloakX, as exchange utility tokens to their respective exchanges, and in future their DEX implementations.
The upcoming release of the HD wallet and new BTC codebase, will very likely welcome integration with popular hardware wallets such as those offered by Ledger, Trezor and KeepKey. These will be a critical component for secure access to CloakX and the primary means of storage for assets traded on the network.
Unlike other decentralised exchanges, CloakX will not require the creation of an additional token and there will be no trading fees on the DEX whatsoever.
CloakX Development Summary
The first implementation of CloakX could welcome trading of most of the top 100 crypto assets as a Cloak-Ethereum client. To expedite development, scale quickly with demand and access IPFS without the need to manage infrastructure, Infura is the recommended solution.
Immediately enabling access to trading of ERC-20 tokens opens up the market for user adoption greatly and best of all, Infura is free. Also, as a truly private and decentralised implementation of a DEX, such as this on the CloakCoin network, legislative risks faced by centralised exchanges are mitigated.
The function of CloakX is absolutely peer to peer.yet, the person making this proposal is still anonymous. but it looks serious and it would be huge if this project could be realized. |

I got 220 cloak in the wallet but the problem still exists. Does the wallet needs to be online at all times? I mean I cannot shut off the laptop or what? Thx for your advice
You will only get rewards while the wallet is open, unlocked and online. When you close it, lock it, or shut down your computer, no rewards for that time period will be earned. Pretty standard QT based wallet operation. When your wallet is offline your coins will only gain coin age. this means when you switch your wallet on (lets say after 1 year) and you wait until all your inputs staked, you will get 6% reward for each input. |

That means another wallet was faster. Maybe slow connection, high ping rates? very tiny amounts? Try to send all your coins to an address in your wallet, maybe you have a lot of small splits and their weight is small. sending all your coins to an address combines all splits and increases your weight. |
