101  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Know about Bounty on: April 15, 2018, 04:12:06 PM
That’s a good proactive start for a newbie asking for bounty campaigns to be in. But personal advise, just take it slow. Learn about how everything works here and then by the time you learned a lot, I’m sure you’ll have a higher rank than a newbie, then you can join campaigns. But it’s your personal choice, it doesn’t matter if you take mine seriously.
102  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk ≠ Bitcoin on: April 15, 2018, 04:08:43 PM
Good catch, do not get confused. When I first intrduced to bitcointalk, I immediately thought that it’s the thing that bitcoin revolves into, but no. Bitcointalk is just a medium we use as a forum to engage with other people who are interested in the world of crypto. Who wants to learn, reserach and of course, earn. So again, good point sir.
103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Does Day Trading Means? on: April 15, 2018, 03:58:08 PM
From the word itself, daily. This will keep you a lot occupied if you do this. You will look into coin updates everyday, every hour, or even every minute. Daily trading will give you short term earnings but not that high earnings like long hold trading. Daily trading is a technique to get daily earnings, but some find this technique stressfull.
104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bitcoin prices not rising! should we trade or hold? on: April 15, 2018, 03:53:44 PM
If that’s the case, just don’t do anything. Not literally, but stay still until the next prediction will come out. If you feel that predictions from experts won’t do a thing for you, try trusting your own instincts. That would be the greatest secret of a good trader. But personal advise would be, just hold it until another update will show up. Don’t rush good sir. Have a good one.
105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which strategy do you have for taking profits? on: April 15, 2018, 03:49:35 PM
When my portfolio has risen about 50% i take out 10%. (5% in euro wallet and 5% in new ICO's)

My strategy after earning some in bounty campaigns is 10% in wallet, 40% in trading, and 50 percent for my personal needs. And after that just keep on working and gaining experience here in the world of crypto and also in the community of bitcointalk just so I can still progress.
106  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I give merit? on: April 13, 2018, 01:37:53 PM
Good question good sir, since other people here are keep on asking on how to earn merits and how it works. I think it’s much better to ask, how people give merits and how to earn SMerits. Smerits is simply the merits that is for awarding a good post. I think you can earn SMerits by getting to the qualifications by your rank and how many merits you earned. Hopefully that helps, have a good one sir.
107  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: help for newbies on: April 13, 2018, 01:21:58 PM
Is this a video on how to start here in bitcointalk community? What I can suggest is you can research, read newbie topics,  and ask questions if needed. Engage in a lot of threads that will help you gain experience. That’s a good start if you want to learn it in videos, to give you a good visual on how it works, but do not depend on this too much as this will comsume a lot of time, rather than engaging while learning.
108  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Member Here. on: April 13, 2018, 01:17:40 PM
I think other members here already gave you a heads up on how to get started. Reading basic rules and what to do and what not. So how about I can give you a good path for you and a goal to reach so you can have a flow or movement here in the community.

First, I suggest that you continue on what you’re doing and rank until you reach Jr. Member or much better if Member rank. By that time you will already have enough knowledge to join campaigns. That leads you to your second step, join bounty campaigns. Earn some money, and while you’re doing that, you’re also learning and gaining a lot more of experience. Lastly, after earning some money, join and learn the game of trading. That will really step up your game here in the world of crypto. Good luck mate. Have a good one.
109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to buy today? on: April 13, 2018, 01:04:34 PM
I know this coin has a lot of potential every year, it’s DGB. You just need to hold this for about 6-8 months as this coin always updates depending on the market. So far this is what I can recommend, given that this coin has a fast change value. Unlike other coins that are very undervalued but will take 2 years to hold until its value will increase a lot. Hopefully you’ll purchase the right coin and hopefully I helped.
110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading or working in signature campaigns? on: April 13, 2018, 12:58:58 PM
It depends. If you already have money to invest for your trading game, yeah sure, go to trading right away if you know the basic principles already. Because trading is much more complex than joining signature campaigns. On the other hand, if you don’t have money or earnings yet to enter the trading game, I suggest to join campaigns first to earn some. That’s what I’m doing right now. Good luck to us good sir, hopefully I helped.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: April 13, 2018, 12:55:04 PM
New trader? Just keep your patience and search a lot more before entering the game of trading. Learn from some shared experiences here that you can search, or ask questions if needed. Cause this is not a game that kids usually do. This is a man’s game. And if you want to have a long term earnings, you need to invest in long term holdings. Good luck to you good sir.
112  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit system on: April 10, 2018, 08:17:17 AM
Hi there, welcome to bitcointalk. If you’re asking about our new merit system, it’s just like points for reward if you post quality ones. But this can be subjective. It’s given by people who has SMerits. Those are merits that you can give to other members if you achieve the qualifications, or high rank.

The  trust stat is different from merits. Merits measures the quality of posting you’ve been making. You also need merits for you to rank up. So, merits are really important. Don’t forget to follow the rules while posting. Have a good one!
113  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounty Programme on: April 08, 2018, 01:12:32 PM

Hey guys, don’t be so negative about this guy. Look, try to research as much as you can. Try to understand the community and how it works. Including rules to be followed. Ask questions if needed, and read a lot of threads and updates. No matter how noob you are now, it can be learned and polished I’m telling you. Best luck for you good sir. Welcome to our community.
114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Know about Bounty on: April 08, 2018, 11:10:44 AM
They already gave you links to find bounties. But what I suggest and advise is learn and experience a lot more first before getting a campaign. Go walk the basics first. You can’t run if you don’t know how to stand up. Learn the basic brother. If you just start immediately in bounties, probably violations will kick you out. Just an advise, but go for it.
115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whats the best exchange sites for you? on: April 08, 2018, 11:03:13 AM
I’m using Cryptopia as this was recommended by my friend. Binance is good as well. But there are some reports that binance has clone site for phishing accounts. Be careful with the site. They said that the phishing site is not made by Binance, others reported their coins were gone with a blink of an eye. So be careful where you log in your accounts.
116  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie BTC on: April 08, 2018, 10:50:57 AM
Don’t rush things too much. You just got here brother. First, learn how to post with quality, follow rules, and the basic principle of the system of posting. If you’re here to earn, learn to work for it. Be patient, chill out, take things slow and then the next thing you know, you ranked up and ready for a bounty. Don’t put yourself on the “fear of missing out”. You won’t miss out anything here.
117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, don’t feel unwelcome. on: April 06, 2018, 04:26:05 PM
New or old members are treated the same way. And for those post that are deleted, take time to read the Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ.

1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads. [1][e]

2. No off-topic posts.

So if someone's post was deleted, it's either any of 1 or 2.

"No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads" - That's subjective. Hope an admin isn't having a bad day:)

Yes it’s subjective. But isn’t it obvious if someone is really posting off topic posts about a thread. And likewise, posting pointless posts? I mean, of course mods are already experienced on what will and will not. Especially here in forums. Cause that’s what they do everyday right? So they will think every possible way to give consideration on what you’ve posted. Judgements are not there priority, what’s in it for them if they deleted your post for nothing.
118  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, don’t feel unwelcome. on: April 06, 2018, 04:20:56 PM
I also experienced that my post are deleted but i didnt get offended because i know theres something wrong in my post thats why its deleted. So I tried to look back and read again the rules and guidelines of the forum.I also experienced posting a question and lots of btc members replied, some give good advices and some replied kinda insulting answer but i dont take it seriously rather i take it as a lesson to be learned.I dont feel unwelcome in this forum coz i know we are here for same reason and thats for understanding bitcoin/cryptocurrency and also to earn profit.

It’s nice to see you getting up stronger from what happened there sir. Continue to utilize every learning elements you can get here for understanding the community and our system much better. And you’ll be successful in no time. Good luck to you sir.
119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, don’t feel unwelcome. on: April 06, 2018, 04:17:30 PM
I just feel discourage sometimes when and honest post was deleted by a mod when they said because it wasn't relevant!
Just like what I posted above, it's either 1 or 2 so if it was a good / honest post but you posted it on the wrong topic that was placed in the wrong section so it's still a candidate to be deleted. It's hard to understand this if you are still new in the forum but rules are rules and there's a right place for each discussion and topics.

Thank you for the reply and explanation
Your welcome. I was once a newbie here in forum and learned a lot of things so sometimes there are chances that those post that I want to keep on reading are deleted but it's become clear to me why those are deleted. Don't be encouraged, this forum is a big help and is a great community.

A big salute to you sir! I really like to see veterans teach newbies how everything works, how the system works. He is right guys, he was once a newbie. Look at him now, I would really love to be like you someday good sir. Continue to inspire other and help newbies to create their own stories.
Don't mention it there are even members that you should follow their insightful post and informative. I'm just here to give you an idea on what are the basics.

Thank you for this one good sir. With this posted here in this thread about questioning why posts are deleted. This is the first thing that they should look at and this should be the first thing that they should reflect on. Please read rules carefully guys, you’ll never know if you violate something if you didn’t read it. Good job good sir.
And don't be hot if the mods are deleting your posts, you have to respect their decision why that post has been deleted. Good luck to all of you.

Exactly, mods are very experienced with those kind of situations. They already know what should or what not. Just respect them, they won’t waste time deleting your post just so you won’t feel welcome at all. They spend time to delete it for a reason that can benefit our community, and last time I checked, helping out a community this big is never a waste of time.

More power to you sir!
